I went there trying to move my service from another carrier thinking that Verizon was the best carrier but if their service is going to be like the customer service at this corporate store I’m better of staying where I am or going to ATT (where I went and it was great). They told me it was going to be an hour wait since there were only two people on the floor, I waited for about 40 minutes and left, the associates were extremely slow and there were plenty of associates coming in and out of the back (I guess the breakroom) to chit chat and socialize with the other employees and not help anyone. All the bad reviews below are true, the two sales associates on the floor appear to extend their time with the customers by engaging in social talk after the issue was solved, multiple employees and only ones or two actually working the rest are just there for moral support of the one or two that actually do work. If this is the “Verizon” experience I rather stay with my provider or go to ATT even if I pay more.

Due to an upgrade mishap my phone was disconnected from the Verizon network. To get this fixed I easily made an appointment to come into the store online, was warmly greeted by Gary (Who serves as GM) when I entered the store, and was back in my car within 15 minutes with my phone active again. Service and commitment to getting things fixed are why I trust Verizon for my familys phone needs. Will be utilizing this store for future use!

The man at the door with the forearm tattoo told us it would take 45 minutes to an hour to be seen by an associate. After waiting an hour and inquiring about when we would be able to enter, we were told it be another hour and a half without prior warning. Not super great as a customer wanting to switch to Verizon. Please do just like any better, would be super cool. Thanks:)

Amir was amazing in helping us to get a new phone, new iPad and adding a new line with a free phone to our plan. He was patient while we decided and answered all our questions. He helped us save the most money and even upgraded our plan. It was a great experience and if we ever have questions or need any other upgrades, we will definitely be back to see him!

Be aware of $50 restocking fee even Verizon store sold you a defective product when you are going to return it. I spent 4 hours in the store for upgrade to iPhone 12 mini, and walked out of the store with no signal. I was told wait for 24 hours, then contact Verizon technician by phone if it doesn’t work. Spent another 4 hours with level 1 and level 2 tech on the phone the next 2 days, and still held a brick. I was shocked to be changed $50 restocking fee when I went back to the store to return it.

Friday the 18th 1:00 went to this corporate Brandon Fl location to upgrade my phone.I was told there were 5 people ahead and it would be an hour wait. I said fine, ran a couple of errands, as I’m returning 1:45 I received a call and text stating who I should ask for, I was literally looking for a parking spot. Responded to the text and called the phone number leaving message I was walking in.Was told by a different person that I was too late they had to take another person....I was shown where the iPhones were located and told someone would be with me shortly, I watched two other people arrive to the store and get immediate attention, when I queried about my apt I was told these folks were just doing something simple???Not sure if being a Verizon customer for the last 20 years and looking to upgrade to the new IPhone 12 could be any simpler???I left the store drove 20 minutes out of my way and purchased from a non-corporate location.Dissatisfied with service is an understatement

Went to this place earlier today me and my family and were told by the manager of the store that the wait would take 1 hour to 1h30 to be seen by an associate. After waiting an hour and inquiring about when we would be able to enter, we were told it be another hour and a half without prior warning. Not super great as a Verizon customer for almost 3 years and wanted to add 3 more lines with them.Eventually the couple that signed in right before us were called and we were suppose to be after them but they called 2 other people and still no one to help us asked the guy that was covering fir the manager at that moment and he said you can them in the phone or go online to be helped because looks like and I quote * you guys are in the bottom Of the list and it’ll take a while for you to be helped *with an attitude of course.Turned out the guy had a problem with my sister because she was wearing a scarf cause she is Muslim. Obviously it’s a discrimination situation here.I am definitely emailing this to the CEO of Verizon hopefully someone will take action and stop these type of treatment to customers

Staff is nothing more than glorified response machines. I sat there for over an hour waiting to be helped. When I was helped the staffer made it abundantly clear he had no interested in helping. Telling me I should call and take care of this, when I told him I want this resolved, he told me to call again. When I asked for corporate information I was not given it. When I called I was still unable to find the help I needed. I understand the staff is limited, but they couldnt even bother to try. The staff cannot and will not do anything, but will talk around you, because your wasting their time. Would never recommend.

He was very personable and professional. I purchased a glass screen protector there for my new Samsung Galaxy Ultra 20 about 6 months ago. It was very overpriced. The purpose of me purchasing the over priced protector was in the event it did get broken I could replace it for free. At least thats the impression the initial sales person gave me. It went back last weekend and the salesman charged me $16 to replace it.People dont waste your money in the store purchasing phone cases or glass protectors. I later looked it up on Amazon the same quality screen protector $12.00. So I wasted a total of $50.00 or more in Verizon. Thanks Verizon!!!! There will be no next time for other accessories at that store or possibly other stores!!!!!!

Not that its any different from the last every phone I have bought from this corporation, but this was just another I a long line of skeevy practices. The salesman was a nice guy, but he definitely pulled out all of the stops to get one over on me. I was lost for words when I got the text that said I asked for the protection plan, when I hadnt, and his response was that the system must just do it with expensive devices. Funny, the text specifically thanked me for choosing the package. Wheeeeerd. He could...no, SHOULD...have been upsetting me to the larger capacity phone, as the one I got is not enough. Also, it would be great to let a guy know that his new $1100 phone doesnt come with a charger. With every visit, I consider going back to the days of flip phones.

If I could give 0 stars I would. These people are so rude. Verizon is honesty the shadiest phone company out there. Did an Apple trade in for the Apple Watch 6 and it’s SUCH A HUGE DEAL to trade in an old watch to get the 100$ off. I’ve called several times to try and figure out how im supposed to get a return label and for some reason every time I request or try something pops up. Going to just switch to T-Mobile at this point I’ve never had a phone company that’s so money driven.

Customer service was horrible. I have 4 I phones and 2 hums through Verizon. I went to put in a claim because one of the phones had heat damage and I have total protection on all the equipment. Mysterious the phone I had put in for a claim had no insurance for that month. So they say. This has been going on for a few weeks now. I submitted a claim to the third party insurance and they said it was up to Verizon. All I wanted to know was how did this one particular phone out of 4 phones and 2 hums not have insurance? Nobody could give me an answer. All they wanted to do was pass the buck on or sweep it under the rug. There’s more to the story and this is only one side of the story.

Nas and Connie were of NO HELP AND MADE EXCUSES!I have had a business account with Verizon with 6 lines for several years. Two months ago I purchased a $1,500 phone after trading in another phone for a $500 credit. Naz assisted me and after 2 months I still have not seen any information about the credit. I contacted Verizon business accounts and they knew nothing about my trade in. I contacted Naz and she stated she would take care of it and copy me on all me emails. After sending three emails with no response from Naz and calling the manager Connie White today with no urgency and Assistance or willingness to email me back, Im extremely disappointed and I would like someone from Verizon to contact me about this to get this finalized immediately!

Store shipped back my new unopened phone to return a month ago. Verizon says they never received it. Store manager will not return phone calls. The store will not answer any calls. Ironic that a retailer who sells phones won’t answer their own phone. The stores do not support Verizon products unless they are purchased there. This fight is not over!

We visited this location on 1/7/19 to purchase a new phone for Gene Cherry Insurance. We had made an appointment for 3 p.m. The first person to greet us was a man named Chris Hawks. Chris was very well spoken and very well mannered. He listened to what we needed and walked us over so we could see the product first hand. Im a visual person so this was a huge plus on choosing the best phone for our needs. Chris was very knowledgeable on Apple products even though he was an android owner lol Chris did not try to push a sell or steer us in another direction. He provided us with everything we needed or asked for. The whole process from start to finish was phenomenal!! Chris Hawks is a huge benefit to the Verizon team. Made an appointment because my new phone would not call and also needed to purchase another phone because the speaker went out and no one could hear him talk. Followed all there rule and was greeted by Nasty Nancy who refused us service. Told us to go online and purchase a phone and have it mailed. Well we would but we need the phone for work. I asked for the manager and he was helpful after I stated we had an appointment and asked are you refusing a business corporate account service? He helped somewhat but just could not justify giving our business to a store like that. My suggestion is to not go to this store. Tried to contact Verizon corporate to give complaint but there is no complaint section.

I love Verizon, but their customer service reps really make my day. I had to go in with my mom because she was having issues with her hum and George went above and beyond to help her. While I was there, he looked at my account made adjustments and saved me $20 a month. I returned the following day with my daughter for a new phone and George assisted us again. He made me aware of other programs, offers and saved me even more money and helped my daughter learn all the options on her phone. George really made our weekend. THANK YOU!

Employees were not friendly or even pleasant. Came in to see what could be done about an order placed online and the ability to pick it up in store instead of having it shipped and they couldnt provide me with information regarding the matter, ran my credit although it had been approved previously and causing my credit application to be flagged for fraud, didnt answer any questions regarding the online order and basically were just standing around ready to say they didnt know at a the drop of a hat. Never again, if I have to deal with Verizon again Ill go to a different store or order online.

We have always love Verizon in general but this store left such a frustrating experience for both me and my husband. Last November my husband went into this store “not with the intention of switching over” (we had being loyal TMobile customers for years) but with someone else that was switching his provider. Needless to say service was great, they offered my husband some great incentive for switching over and so he did. He ended up buying 2 phones, 1 Apple Watch and bringing a third phone for a third cell line we have. Within the incentives we had to turn in our devices in order to get credit for them (which we did) all with the exception of one Samsung note 9 got credited. Since November my husband has text and called the rep and every time is a different excuse for it not been credited. We have called Verizon on various occasions as well and they keep telling us they never received such device. It is a total disappointment that such a great company would allow such thing to happen and not find a solution to it.

If youre looking for terrible service at the highest rate in the cellular market then get yourself Verizon. I live in Ruskin and cant even make or receive calls from my own home. Service was so bad I cancelled my service and will let it hit my credit after a year and a half of complaining to Verizon about the poor coverage and them not repairing it or ever offering credit to my acct or anything. I tell EVERYONE who asks what service I have about my experience with your company.

I went to this store and opened a new wireless account on May 7th. I originally was going to go to an authorized Verizon dealer, but I thought this corporate store would be better.To start things off, the store itself is very well stocked and set up. My family and I were greeted upon entering the store and we were quickly checked in. The employee assigned to me was a young man (cant remember his name). I told him the phones I wanted. He got one of the iPhone models wrong at first...my guess is he wasnt listening too well the first time. That was his first mistake. He then tried to get me to sign up for 4 lines, even though I only needed 3. I declined his offer and wanted to move on. That was his second mistake. Then his third mistake was he didnt seem to have proper knowledge on the various discounts on the calling plans and the phones themselves.After we finally got things sorted out, it came time to activate service and make the final purchases. The young employee told us we were done and the new lines were active and ported over from our old service. We then left the store.On the drive home from the store, we got a call from Verizon customer service. Apparently our phones had NOT ported over correctly and they needed a little more information to get the port process completed. Thanks to them, it was now done correctly. So yes, that was the young mans fourth mistake, all with the same customer, ME!All in all, I love the service from Verizon. However, this store definitely needs to make sure their employees keep up with the latest information.

Its really nothing management the stores great so is Anderson South Carolina which are both corporate stores however I would truly suggest to look to other companies before buying a new phone or accepting Verizon as your carrier Ive had nothing but trouble for 4 months in regards to a Google phone I purchased and Im not really very happy with it and it really isnt a good choice because after 4 months I still have a phone that Im paying extraordinary amounts of money for it does not work correctly and its been replaced four times they wont let me get into a different phone do not buy a Google phone. Tiffany Manna at the Brandon store was terrific. I came in when my husband drowned my phone, thinking I had insurance coverage. When she told me I did not have coverage I was surprised - it had to do with another store that I had gone to in Columbus, OH and somehow they removed my coverage. Anyhow, she was able to restore everything, got me a new phone and all was good. I was very satisfied with the service and help she provided!

Alot of kids running it, and some Im not too sure about as they looked post prison. Their turnover is huge. I AM revising my earlier comment because I went to the store and spoke with a manager. I told him about my 45 minute hold on the telephone, my experience with the screen protector being cracked in less than 30 days, and the store not honoring the free replacement warranty, and he replaced the screen protector free of charge as promised. He said he would do it the one time as a courtesy and I appreciate him doing that. He turned my frustration around with politeness and by doing the right thing. So I changed my very unpleasant earlier rating to a better one based upon my in store experience.

Tried to call store for information and was transferred to a central support line. While they were kind to transfer the call to the store, the phone was answered at the store and then placed on a desk. Couldnt get a response. After 5 minutes of listening to staff chit chat, I gave up. I guess they dont want phone calls
