She always does exceptional work I had her do my first wedding dress back in 2000 and 15 years later she did my 2nd wedding dress she does all the alterations for my family and always does a terrific job

I take shirts there all the time. She always pleasant.

Shes always done an amazing job for me. And goes the extra step. She notices things about the small details that I wouldve missed.

Mekong has been altering my clothing for years. I refuse to allow anyone else to touch my clothing because she always provides the best service. I also love how accommodating she is. I had a last minute engagement & I was late in taking my garments to be altered. It was my fault, but she did the alterations on the spot. I absolutely love her & the quality of her work.I refer everyone to her because she is the best!

The owner took one look at me,looked me up and down, and said we will not have your size. I gave her one more chance and she said it again! I got a phone call but heard her say to my mother in law theres other bridal shops around here. My mother in law straight up asked her if she did not want us shopping there and she said no but glared at us the whole time we were looking. It made me so uncomfortable and really put a damper on such a great day.Edit: This is actually the bride. I just forgot I was logged in under my fiancees name.

This is one of the very few negative reviews I have and will ever give but it is needed:My brother had two events at his girlfriends school to go to for the first time and last. He has never been to a prom, slow danced or had any of those kind of experiences. My dad rented a tuxedo from here last minute because he had been busy working. Needless to say it was pretty expensive but a deal was made so he could keep it the 1.5 weeks until the next event along brand new shoes that had just come in.The first small event a few days after the tuxedo/shoes were rented went great except he found a small hole in the vest, not a big deal but still, shouldnt have any for the price my dad paid. Lots of laughs, photos and memories were had.The second event went very bad. He drove an hour away, went inside and started having fun. When they were dancing less then 45 minutes after they got there, both soles of both new dress shoes fell completely off. He was embarrassed and forced to spend the next 3 hours barefooted in front of everyone but tried not to get upset to help his girlfriend have a good night. When he got home and we all found out what had happened, we looked closely at the shoes where the soles came apart to discover they were very cheaply glued together with a thin line of glue all the way around the sole.We took them back when Mekong bridal & Tuxedos was opened, explained what happened and let the owner see the damage. She claimed that this had never happened before and that the shoes were brand new, again, even after we pointed out they were clearly not new. She asked why we didnt call her when it happened, that she wouldve drove out at 10pm to give him new shoes. We said he was an hour away at the time and didnt even know that was a possibility as it was not explained when we rented the items and the response we got was that she does it all the time (after saying the shoes have never fallen apart) and it wouldnt have been a problem. Its nice to tell someone after the fact what they couldve done and explain how generous they couldve been but couldnt because they failed to offer being generous in the first place. My dad was given a whole $10 bill as a refund for the troubles we had with the shoes and embarrassment my brother is going to remember forever. The refund was 1/30th of what was spent and it simply felt like a slap in the face.Will absolutely never use this place again and have told everyone about our experience to avoid them having to go through what we did.Do not risk ruining your families memories because this owner is too selfish and cheap to provide quality service and products.

While you can find some nice gowns here to wear to like a fancy dinner or cruise, the price is too high for the location imo

She did a fabulous job on altering my wedding dress. I needed it done quickly and she did. Reasonable prices as well. Taken several pairs of pants here to be altered too.

I love this place! They always do a wonderful job. I have used them for three weddings including my own. I never go anywhere else.

I hate to even give a bad review but I would hate to see what happened to us happen to someone else. We brought in my daughters dress on Tuesday to be hemmed and she took her right away and had her put on the dress with her heels. She immediately started cutting the dress with it on her, which made me nervous because when Ive had mine done in the past they usually pin it. But, I figured she knows better then I do. The outer layer of my daughters dress was a netting material which couldnt be hemmed but needed to be cut and trimmed. When I went in on Friday to pick up her dress it had a stain right in the front of it, she said the stain was there before but we never saw a stain on it and if it was there already when she was cutting it you think she would have mentioned it! It honestly looked like grease maybe from a sewing machine or ink. That was not the worse part! She never went back and trim the netting evenly, just left it looking like a child cut it! I told her it couldnt stay that way and she told me to leave it and she would fix it but I would have to get it Saturday! Her competition is Saturday and honestly I was afraid it would end up worse so I asked her to refund me $20 of the $70 I paid and I would go home and trim it myself! I think I was too nice but what can you really do in that situation! I wish I could post pictures. Thankfully the way her dress flows you shouldnt be able to see the stain and the unevenness.

They ruined my wedding dress. When hemming the bottom, she cut it several inches too short and it was extremely uneven. Another alterations professional told me it could not be fixed, so I had to buy a second wedding dress. Mekong Bridal refused to give a refund for the cost of the alterations. The quality of their work was absolutely terrible.

When we walked in after calling her about dresses she didnt even want to fit me for anything just kept saying did I look online I could find something in my size there basically saying I was to fat for her stuff and for a day thats supposed to be fun and a dream turned to the worst day ever for me I would never have anyone go here.

Back in 2007 they altered my beautiful wedding dress and made a couple of adjustments to lift the train they did an awesome job!

Dont bother going there to buy a wedding dress unless you are a size 0 or you want to look like youre from the 80s on your wedding day. Lady is very rude and the store is a dump.

Dirty hole! Expensive dresses with stains on them!! Staff ignored us the first ten min we were there. Everything old,dusty and crusty!
