Everyone who works hear is so kind and helpful! They helped me find everything I needed and gave me wonderful suggestions on products and colors.
This place reminded me of a Sephora. One difference was staff at Sephora greets every guest within seconds of entering the store. I made it from the entrance to the back of the store, passing several staff members and not one greeted me. The only reason I did not leave was this was the only place that carried the product I needed. I will commend them on cleanliness and organization. The woman that assisted me at the check out was friendly, courteous and had an upbeat demeanor. They need more is her.

I only went to this Ulta in Braintree to pick up a tom Ford edp (oud minerale) which was rebranded and now has a white box instead of the old brown private blend box which was alot stronger. The newer version definitely wasnt for me. There was a young lady blonde hair maybe was the manager she said if I dont like it I can bring it back.So I was back the next day and returned it for a full refund which is a rare thing for any place to do. Definitely would recommend the store in Braintree great customer service.

I go to Ulta Beauty for the salon! I only see my favorite hair stylist *Hind because she is gifted+ does a fantastic job! She is also color expert..seen her natural to wild colors (blonde->blue/red/purples) All healthy w/ no damage+ ladies look amazing!Hind is Highest level expertise+ well worth the cost.💇🏼♀️💆🏻♀️🥰❤Is kind+Charming+ 1# priority is improving all clients hair health.

I initially left a five star review because the stylist was super nice and did an excellent job styling my hair. The issue is that the dye didn’t hold and came out after two days. This was a master stylist, I essentially wasted $130.00. I’m returning on Thursday to hopefully resolve this, if it gets resolved, I will gladly update this to give stars

The employees are friendly and helpful, when you can find them. It can often be difficult to find help in this store. I have walked out a few times without purchasing anything due to not being able to find an employee for help.
I recently moved back to this area, and was in need of finding the right fit for getting my hair done. Hind Bensaid, Elite Stylist, was absolutely amazing! I read the reviews on here about her, and decided if she had availability I would see her. She was professional, kind, accommodating and very knowledgeable! She had great suggestions on how to improve everything from color, style, texture of my hair and products that would specifically help my current hair problems! I am shocked that she was able to transform my dull, translucent, dead hair into shiny, soft and perfect color/tone in such a short time! I arrived to my appointment 15 minutes early to get a feel for the location, and she was ready and waiting for me! I left feeling so much happier than I have in a long time, and I really hope Hind Bensaid gets some acknowledgement for how great she is. I will be coming back to purchase the products she suggested, and to see her on a regular basis at this location. And if I move away again, I will be traveling back just to have appointments with her!
I love shopping at Ulta, but was disappointed by the management at this location. I waited in a long line to make a purchase, because there was only one employee working at sales counter - despite the fact that at least three other employees were hanging out by the entrance, gossiping and chatting with friends. I believe one of these women was the manager, who seemed genuinely annoyed when the line got so long customers started to complain. The only gal facing the long line was named Madison, and she was a pleasure to deal with. If only her coworkers could follow her example...
My Review is for the salon, one thing I really hate is when you have people who claim to know how to do eyebrows and they end up doing 2 shapes in your face.I went here on 2/3/2021 to clean my brows and ended up with 1 side thick and 1 side thin. This is so aggravating becuz now I’ll have to let my eyebrow grow for months. Leaving the salon I couldn’t realize it until I went home.W. E you do DONT GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE by (Shanahan). And for 22$ it’s not worth, threading is always my go to + it’s for less
The staff in the store are super nice and helpful. I came here 3 times and all of them were very welcoming and went above and beyond to find the products I need, event if they had to go to the back to find it.
Such a disappointing trip! Searched for item minding the arrows for customer browsing. Informed that regularly purchased item is available online much to my dismay. Perusing the store indeed difficult with narrow aisles, some blocked because they were being restocked, along with abiding by foot traffic. Meh

If I could do a rating of zero stars I feel that it would be more appropriate. I have gone to this location multiple times now because it’s on my way home, never was greeted upon entering, and nor was I ever asked if I needed any assistance. It’s not just at this location I’ve had that interaction with either.I have worked in customer service for many years now. I feel that if you see a customer aimlessly walking around looking as if they need assistance then that person should be helped immediately. I have no issue asking for help but it’s difficult to when you can’t find anyone who works there.Normally I don’t have a problem finding things on my own, but this time none of the products that I buy where in the location they were before. It honestly would’ve been a perfect opportunity for any of the worker(s) there to inform me that they were out of stock on what I wanted but could inform me on similar products to what I was looking for. Perfect chance for them to up-sell me on a “better” product.Unless you know exactly what you are looking for and know for a fact that they have it in stock don’t bother going.
The best place to get any makeup/beauty products you need. Staff was friendly and supportive while answering my wife’s questions. They also have Hair, skin care products, beauty tools like hair brushes, etc., and nail products. They offer great prices and you can get a loyalty card to earn points and get discounts.
I go in for hair and I see Hind. She is fantastic. Ive been with her for over a year and I wont go anywhere else. She listens to what you are looking for and gives a great scalp massage.

Do Not Go to THIS Location.I read a couple of reviews about bad service here but being in the retail business most of my life, I decided to try it anyway, there are bad days. Well, the review was spot on. Four employees huddled together talking, it was around 1:15, my lunch hour, on a Tuesday. I stood there for about 10 minutes and then went over. They looked at me like I was bothering them. One girl came to assist me but when I asked her about another product I was interested in, she pointed her finger and said “there over there” I then asked what to look for and her recommendation on the product and she said “ Well, the expensive ones are over there and the others are over there” and proceeded to walk away.Are You Kidding Me!!!! That is NOT customer service.I did go to the Hingham location a few days later, PLEASE GO THERE!!!! They are amazing and know how to explain products and how to treat customers.
It has an amazing amount of diverse products for all hair types. A good selection of skin care and make up too. The salon in back looks good, I may have to give it a try.
Receipt says you have 60 days to return but when I went on the 60th day, they would not refund my item.. poor customer service. Every time I’ve gone to ulta, I have stood in line while employees chat and enjoy themselves, which is fine if you aren’t wasting customers time.. I wasn’t going to give a negative rating until I discovered their return policy is a complete lie.

I started visiting the salon at this location in October. I was fortunate to have gotten Hind. The first few times she cut my hair. My hair is very thin and Hind was extremely helpful in suggesting product. My hair is dyed black and I wanted to go softer with highlights, perhaps silver. Hind and I reviewed my options. She was extremely concerned about my hair’s integrity. She ended up giving me beautiful carmel highlights. I am beyond pleased. Over the next few months we will continue to work on the color. I have seen a few poor reviews regarding clients displeased with color. A hairdresser is not a magician. A lot of people go with pictures etc and expect to walk out mirroring the picture. Every head of hair is different. I think this is a great salon and I hope more people give it a chance. Renee M.

I will NEVER return to this location ever again. This store had the worst customer service as well as false advertisement. One of the workers called me stupid for seeing a product that said on sale for $19 and it was actually well over $100. I am a hair stylist and I usually come to buy shampoos and conditioners and styling products. If I could give this store no stars, that would’ve been my option. Terrible staff!

It has been week since my truly horrible experience at this Ulta location. I have (or better yet, had) very long hair and specifically requested a trim consisting of only one inch. Throughout the haircut, it was apparent that the stylist cutting my hair was distracted by a conversation with her coworker. Upon blow-dry, I immediately noticed that four plus inches were removed. I brought this to her attention; she abruptly stopped without stating as to why, walked away, and the coworker picked up where she left off. Confused as to what happened, I politely asked her to stop. The initial stylist returned with a manager and both stated only one inch was removed. The manager pointed to the floor and hesitated. I used the moment to acknowledge the four inch strands on the floor were long enough to curl. The trim was comped, I had what was left salvaged elsewhere, and have been shopping for wigs ever since.
Went in to buy Angel perfume. The sales people were quite snooty and not friendly. Otherwise its clean, organized, expensive and theyll probably have the brand you are looking for.
Look... the store itself is great even though the drugstore side is very messy, like very very messy. When you walk in no one greets you or makes you feel welcomed. I make eye contact and some of the workers just look at you. Its kinda annoying to go into this Ulta at this location but its the closest one to me.
Everytime I have come in and gotten my hair done they have been really friendly and helpful. I did a serious change and was really pleased with the results! They found a color that worked for me and my skin tone! Would highly recommend!
I Love Ulta, they have deals on some months with a different product each day that is 50%off. Plus they have a rewards program, the more customers spend the more they accumulate money to take off their future purchases. I favor Ulta in Braintree over Sephora.The worst down fall with Ulta is that if you do not spend $400 in a calendar year, then you will lose your reward. But if you spend over $400.00 in a calendar year then you are upgraded to Platinum and you can keep accumulating your rewards and you lose nothing. So I am always trying to spend over $400 every year and usually I do it.
Love this place. Cheaper than sephora and some of the items are the same price or even cheaper than drugstore products with wayy better quality. Ulta brand is affordable and the quality is comparable to high end cosmetics.

Not the best customer service or experience (cough Sephora’s better cough), but good selection and prices. If not in a rush, wait for Sephora’s infrequent sales or a drugstore sale.I feel like there’s inadequate staffing levels, you either wait for help or the register lines are huge. And they don’t give samples, which is a bummer. Not my favorite store, even drugstores are better imho - they don’t pretend to be more than they are.

Unfortunately, this location is horrible in terms of customer service. I have spoken with management regarding their poor customer Service skills sbut they have failed to improve. I am currently a Platinum Member and I am a little under $100 of being Diamond. Of course this tells you I spend a lot of time in Ulta. The two best Ultas are the one in Dorchester and the one in Westwood. Those are my girls, as they are absolutely helpful. They have positive attitudes and they greet you upon entry into the store.
Never again will I go to this store in particular. Had placed an order online and after they sent it through UPS they couldnt locate it and never notified me so I had to go to the store. Five minutes after trying to look for the same products at the store and unable to find them I had 3 employees follow me without offering help. As I bent to get a NYX product that was on a lower section I hear the manager (very loudly) ask another employee if she had seen a woman wearing a white coat and a ponytail that looks hispanic because she couldnt understand why I had products in my hand and then put them on my shopping bag (from the store) and why would I be buying at the store. The associate said that she had seen me and that the manager must be mistaken on her assumption because I was a frequent customer and I was always buying at the store. The manager said that she would find me and asked another associate to look for me, and she stood at the door. When she saw me walk to the cashier with a bag of over $100 in products she turned around and went to the back of the store. I get that there is a lot of ignorance in this world, but she made these comments very loudly in a store with customer that all turned around to look at me. Never again would I buy from this store. I called after I left and spoke with her and she said sorry I can give you a discount.
I walked in with an empty bottle of Clinique foundation that I bought at a different Ulta but found out they don’t sell that at the Braintree one.Jonathan color matched me to an amazing Lancôme foundation that I loved even more than what I was using. He was patient and personable and took the time to make sure I was happy with my purchase. He did not try to push any purchases on me which was nice, and did, after I requested, show me a great powder and bronzer that I am also very happy with.Go see Jonathan. He’s amazing!

I went in to have my hair done and asked for brighter blonde highlights that were cool blonde (aka not yellow) so the salon hairdresser put in a toner that turned my hair dark brown/purple. I am naturally blonde and left with darker hair than when I entered (when I went for highlights to brighten up my hair). She also charged me for two erroneous treatments that I did not ask for and charged me more than the price I signed onto when booking the appointment online. It was my first experience after moving to the area and I expected more from a chain salon that has set standards. They clearly will hire anyone with no talent or knowledge of hair at all. Completely horrified! DO NOT GO HERE TO THE SALON!!

Went here for a blow out and makeup application. Horrible job on both. Go to Blo instead for a blow out. The stylist burned my head twice with a very hot rod, over dried my hair (so that smoke was visible) and over charged me ($57 ) for just a blow out????!!!!! Makeup “artist” was a young 20 something who had no idea what she was doing. $102 for awful results. STAY AWAY!!
I frequent this store a lot and have spent hundreds of dollars here since it has opened. Whenever I go to the right of the store where the high-end cosmetics are, it is always very clean and most of the time there are employees there to help you find what is right for you.However, recently I have been buying a lot of NYX products, located on the Drug-Store make up on the left side. The past four times I have been to the store, over a two month period, it has been a disgusting mess. On all the occasions, more than half of the lip colors arent available, or are opened with make up smears all over the display. I understand you cant stop everyone from opening up makeup and trying the colors - but it is such a mess that people who wouldnt normally open up make up before purchasing it do anyway. Last time I was trying to get through the mess of NYX, other college-aged girls in the aisle were talking about how disgusting the display was and left without buying anything. I have now started buying NYX online from a different store that is more expensive because its not worth my time or energy to go to Ulta to buy product from a display like that. Moreover, the makeup brushes that are also on the drug-store side are a mess, all on the wrong shelves and with wrong prices associated to them. I understand you get what you pay for, but I expect a store to value all customers equally.

Havent tried the Salon here before so the review is just for the beauty department. This is the only store I have any interest in for the Market Place shopping area (pre-Nordstrom Rack). Overall the store seems about the same as the other Ultas Ive visited (Natick, Westwood, San Francisco) and I put them in rotation to call when Im trying to hunt down some Limited Edition palettes / sets. (Wow I sound like such a beauty addict.)One notable experience was around January, when I tried to return an online order and it was several items that I realized I didnt need. They claimed that all of their registers / system was down for doing online order returns but strung me along for 20+ minutes just waiting in purgatory to hear back about what they could do. I was extremely displeased that I wasted my time stopping by and the fishy claim that they couldnt return anything... or when this issue would be resolved. Unfortunately I wasnt able to get my $ back because of this pesky issue and have not revisited this location since the incident. I have to wonder if the corporate office imposes weird sales goals like other places in retail and online purchase returns unfortunately affect their total daily revenue so they want to turn away large customer returns?
