Herb Chambers Collision Center repaired our automobile in a professional and timely fashion. They did their best to get our car repaired and back to us per our request. Very satisfied with the way we were communicated with. They kept us up to date with the progress of the repairs. We would definitely use them again.

Im did few times oil change with them,and decided to do a tire alignment, but at checkout, they cant provide me alignment report and told me the printer is broken.... finally, they gave me a half baked report with top ripped off. I thought they are few okay apple left, but I guess Im wrong. Also, my engine request 5w30, on the 1sr bill,it states as 5w20,but they told me they put in 5w30 and have to change the bill.
My experience with the personnel of Herb Chambers was excellent and the workmanship was professional. The only problem I encountered was the long delay encountered by the Chambers people for obtaining parts for my damaged 2014 MKZ sedan for which they rightly disclaimed responsibility.
Scheduled at Saturday appointment online 3 weeks prior. Got a call the night before my appointment to say they could not do a recall on a Saturday and they scheduled me for a weekday without my permission like I dont work. Very unprofessional. 3 weeks wasted waiting. I wont be using them.
DO NOT BEING YOUR CAR HERE!! Read thisMy experience with Herb Chambers Collision center and with Jeff Macdonald was horrible not what you would expect from a company like Herb Chambers. I decided to bring my car here after it was hit by another driver. The drivers insurance said they will cover it but only the side of the bumper that was hit by their driver. The other side of my bumper had minor scratches and a small dent you would think since the other drivers insurance is paying to sand down and repaint the bumper Herb Chambers would just patch that up before painting it. Nope Jeff Macdonald wanted to charge me $180 for something that would take them 1 minute to do before painting the bumper already getting $1000+ from the other drivers insurance.I called yesterday after 2 and a half weeks of them having my vehicle and Jeff answered. I asked if my car was ready to pick up and he placed me on hold.. someone else answered and said it was ready but I never got a call or email notifying me my car would be ready.. what kind of business is this? You would think Herb Chambers would have something like this under control. Deceptive practice and unprofessional on Jeff Macdonald’s part as well as the rest of his team. When I emailed Jeff and asked for corporate email or information he didn’t bother replying.
Very friendly and knowledgeable I was in and out in Less than 15 minutes I turned in my car and the rental personnel were already waiting on me! They were also very quick,friendly & professional! Happy customer!
Don’t bring your car here if you want to receive it back in a timely manner. I only brought my car to this location due to Lexus dealership recommending them. For repairs that should’ve taken two-three weeks max, my car was at this location for about a month. They extended the deadline twice on me and finally told me my vehicle was done yesterday and that I could pick up my car. After I drove an hour and twenty minutes to this location I noticed my radio was not working. My amplifier was messed up and said they would bring it to the Lexus dealership of Sharon to be fixed. I call today to find out when my car will be done and they said they won’t even know what is going on with my car until Tuesday. They don’t call ever to let you know what is going on, you have to constantly badger them to find out anything that is going on with your vehicle. I’m completely annoyed with how long they took with my vehicle to begin with and then on top of it didn’t even check the amplifier after it’s located where they did work. I wont give them business again. But I DO give credit where it is due, they are very good at body work. My car looked almost even better than before they fixed it. Except for the fact that they either curbed three of my rims or switched them out for someone’s else’s. None of my rims had damage when my car went it and three cans out with horrible damage. My chrome exhaust tip was also sideways the day I picked it up and ended up falling off the car by the end of first day having my vehicle back. They refused to fix any of my issues even though they told my insurance they would fix the exhaust tip, which is completely terrible customer service (which they’re given from the beginning). But it was just motivation to buy new rims and exhaust tips 😊
Jim at Herb Chambers, Braintree is great! He always try to do the right thing even if it ends up costing him more. I had few issues with my car repair but Jim took care of everything without a single follow-up. Thank you!
My 17 Lincoln MKZ is driven around 2k miles a week. It is currently at the collision center for a 5th time in less than 2 years. Judging by the repairs of the last 4 non chargeable accidents, I know this 5th not at fault hit will have the same factory standard repair.
Overall, I cant complain with Herb Chambers Ford. Now Ford Motor Company I have lots to say, but thats a different review. HC was easy go work with and they were prompting addressing my concerns.
I use Jim and his crew regularly for my customers collision needs. From start to finish they handle all the insurance negotiations. Color match is always perfect and every detail is squared away. I cant say enough about their professionalism.
I just pick up my ford explorer from herb chambers collision center in Braintree and my car looks great!! The staff were all professional and I had my car back in a reasonable time. I was very impressed that the paint matched perfectly! This Auto Body Collision Repair Shop has been by far the easiest and hassle free to work with. The staff helped me through a complicated issue with my Ford Edge. They advocated for me with my insurance company and made sure that I was satisfied with the work that was done. I have recommended this shop to many people and I continue too because they are professional and efficient! The company is there to work with the customer and too make sure the work is done correctly!
This is an update to our original two-stars review. Last Wednesday we met with the director of Herb Chambers Collision Center of Braintree, as well as the person who supposedly quality-checked our vehicle before releasing it to us. We were precise and sharp in our criticisms, and understandably both men were somewhat defensive, but overall they were understanding and showed a willingness to fix the issues.We left the car with them, with an understanding that they should keep it until the repairs were done right. Yesterday we received a call from the director saying our car was ready. He offered to personally bring our car to a location near our home at the end of the day. We agreed.When he showed up with our car, the repairs were done right, AND the car looked like it just rolled out of the show room. We were impressed - even the wheels looked like new - this on a 9 year old Mini Cooper S. We take good care of our cars, so for us to say that it looked good, is to say really that it looked great.Herb Chambers Collision Center of Braintree got it wrong the first time - and all businesses make mistakes. Most importantly, in the end - Herb Chambers Collision Center of Braintree got it right. We are very happy. We recommend them highly to you, if you want a collision center that will stand behind their work.
Excellent work and extremely competent, helpful staff. My deep gratitude to Jim, Jeff, Lee, and Rick. They are great professionals who bent over backawards to provide me prompt repairs at a very reasonable price. I purchase my first vehicle from here and there was no pressure to buy a vehicle which was a plus. Herb Chambers gave me more for my truck then what other dealerships were offering and Bruce Stein did an excellent job helping me out with the test drive and all the way through the purchasing of the vehicle. They have a great selection of vehicles and I would definitely go back again to purchase my next vehicle.

Took a fleet vehicle in for service. The vehicle was due for a 100,000 mile service interval so the repairs would run into next work day. They have a very good relationship with Enterprise and getting a rental was easy and the sent someone right to dealership to bring you your vehicle or pick you up. The communication of the place definitely could be better. Not not kept very up to date on the status of the vehicle. Not the worst service experience I have had, but also not the best

Jim and his team went above and beyond to create a smooth, stressfree process from start to finish. My 2006 325I was hit in the rear by a pickup truck and I chose Herb Chambers Collision center to make the repairs. Im glad I did. They took care of all the little details that often create headaches. A rental car was waiting for me when I dropped off my car and they handled all communications with my insurance company. Trunk and rear bumper were replaced and the work was impeccable. I would recommend them without hesitation.
Possibly the most incompetent customer service interaction I have had in over a decade.My car has been there over a month for minor cosmetic damage to the right front corner.They have missed target after target, and failed to communicate at every step in the process. Sergey, was the advisor on this debacle.I was assured I would have my car back last Wednesday. Had to call at 4pm, to find out if was not ready. Told it should then CERTAINLY be ready by Friday, if not Monday, for sure.Again, no call on Friday, so I had to call in to find out, again, my car was not ready, but PROMISED by Ricky that now Monday was certain.Now, mid day through Monday, hearing nothing, I called, only to hear from JIM Stapleton, the alleged manager of this operation, that he now thinks, I can get my car tomorrow... But again, is not sure.The only reason I give them one star, is because zero is not an option.Save yourself the trouble of dealing with these people.

The repair went fairly well and the car looked great when I picked it up. This however is for the one hour follow-up to the paint job of the rear bumper. For a 8 am appt. I waited an hour and 42 minutes for them to put the protective coating on the rear bumper only. I was told it would only be one hour so I waited. After one hour I question the person that checked me in and she said soon it will be ready. After another 10 minutes, I apologized to her and asked I was told this would take an hour, how much longer? At that point I was told 10 minutes he is polishing the outside Over a half hour later the vehicle was ready. Lack of communicating to the customer is a back training issue here. If I was actually spoke to by them it would have been really nice, however when I asked and lied to is upsetting.
I don’t usually write reviews but I felt compelled to do so. I have had 2-3 appointments scheduled to have auto body work done on my vehicle at Herb Chambers collision. I have cancelled and rescheduled (after booking rental and appt for repair etc) each time due to various family emergencies or illnesses. I know how much work goes into getting someone set up for repairs and coordinating rentals. I felt horrible every time I had to call (last minute of course!) I was treated so kindly by Lee Mcinerney who has helped me each and every time I have called. I am finally getting the car fixed this week and I just wanted to thank her for being so professional and understanding!P.S. because I was treated so well, I sent a friend to Herb Chambers to see Lee and have her car repaired! She got it back yesterday and was extremely happy with Lee’s help and the work done to her truck!
I purchased a used $36,000 dollar truck from them in early Match in order to have it ready for the start of the landscape season. (April 1st) it first sat in preparation for delivery for 2 weeks for God only knows what reason. Only for me to bring it back a few days later for problems not fixed. It has now been in the truck center for 5 days for a 1 hour job. This place has no respect for peoples time and livelihood. I will not be purchasing another vehicle from them. And if you want your car earlier than a month after purchasing it I suggest you dont either. Plenty of other ford dealerships around.
My neighbor got a bit too close with their snow blower and dinged up the side of my cadillac. Jim Stapleton and his crew were awesome and got it in right away and were able to fix it up in no time. Really thankful for their hard work and responsiveness!
Not satisfied at all with my experience, so i bring my Porsche Panamera to herb chambers for the first time to get a rear bumper painted and had to call over and over to check the status finally get my vehicle back after a long 2 week wait. they give me my keys not even going over the job they did. And I get my car back with multiple dried paint drips which is so unacceptable, how do you give a customer back a vehicle without properly inspecting? maybe they dont care smh, then to add insult to injury, I bring my car back after 24 hrs prior to notifying them that I will be bringing it in. They knew I was in an insurance rental that ended they say they can only drop me to the braintree train station. Then they say oh its after 12 they stop dropping customers off at 12, sounds like they didnt want to arrange my satisfaction, smh Im sorry I drive a Porsche why the hell should I allow someone that I hired to do work on my vehicle and get paid to do it through MY INSURANCE, drop me at a train station? I ended up calling an uber for myself .Voicing my frustration publicly so hopefully they can learn to do better. A customer leaving with a smile is a customer for life......I left disappointed
I dont recommend this place to anyone in the world. If this is the only body shop left, I would take my car to a junkyard and crush it.As everyone stated except the marketing reviews they dont have any communication. If anyone picks this location, they need to leave their car and forget it and come back several months later.I brought my car to this location with a collision damage and other issues which were not related to an accident. They postponed my cars delivery date 6 times. Whenever I ask about the delay, first they blamed the insurance, then they said they didnt get the parts in time, then, of course, they blamed the weather.I understand that average repair time of a car is 2 weeks, and Ive been told repair would take about 2-3 weeks, however, I got my car back 33 days later with ongoing issues. They fixed the collision damage but not the other issues I have mentioned. They only tell lies. The latest delivery date was 3/16/2018, the advisor told me it would be ready for 3/19/2018 for sure (He said there is no other way). It didnt happen. He didnt even call me to give me update on if it was delayed. They couldnt explain to me why they missed the target. 3/16-3/19 they had all parts, no weather problem, nothing but they were lazy to fix my car.They didnt call me on 3/20/2018. I told them Im coming down there to see if they still have my car because I was worried they might have sold it! Service Manager told me that they did test drive to find out the issues I mentioned when I was getting my car. Theyve never tried to find the issues. It was just another lie because advisor told me that he didnt even know about the issues I mentioned! Also, how could they do test drive without driving my car? I got my car back with the same mileage when I dropped it off.If you ever made a mistake and brought your car to this location before reading reviews, I have some advice to you. First, forget your car, go on vacation, and never ever think that you had a car once. If this is not an option for you, I dont believe they record our phone conversations for providing us better service, so download a recorder app to your phone, and record all of the conversations, and tell them that you are recording the conversation. This will help the communication between you and them. I believe they will stop lying eventually! We need to protect ourselves because no one protects us against this location.I tried to reach to anyone at Herb Chambers, not possible. They dont get back to my messages, or emails. So, you have no protection against this location. It is sad to see that auto manufacturers approved Herb Chambers but they dont know or care about their service.
Great work ! I got in an accident in my brand new Camry :( .... I went by to get an estimate. John ceurvels took me through the whole process, told me that I have to have the insurance look at it first and then he would take it from there. I emailed the Insurance estimate to John and he did the rest. Also I work a lot of hours so I asked him to order parts beforehand, which they did, made the appt to get it fixed and basically picked it up when it was done ! Clean too ! nice job....

Starting with the friendly staff in the front office to the very nolagable apraisers ! Wich helped the repair process go so smooth ! I picked up my car 3 days before actual due date of completion ! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Herb chambers collision of Braintree does not keep the customer informed at all. The many times I initiated the calls, I was promised a call back - which never happend! I will never bring any of my vehicles to herb chambers again. Very disappointed in the customer service and follow up! If I could give 0 stars - I would!
Had a very minor scratch repaired at the facility which too two weeks and a lot of excuses and mis-communicatios.. and for that reason I give the collision center a POOR ratingThe actual work on my 2016 SRX is outstanding but the hassle I went through was very frustrating.
I took my nissan Altuna into Herb Chambers collision center a couple of weeks ago to have the front of my dar repaired. The repair das done perfect, you cant even motive ir was damaged, Theron paint color matched perfect. My appraiser Jeff went over the procese of the repair withh me before my car das espaldas. When i picked Up my car the shop mánager brought me to my car and se went over the repairs. What a great JOB. The shop mánager Jim Stapleton was amazing and the Office staff www very pleasant.
I was recently at this collison center and may I saw it was the worst day of my life.I got there to pick up my car and I was told that there were certain parts missing on it when I was not made aware of this the day I dropped my car for repairs cause ofcourse there were no parts missing when I dropped it off...the guy,Greg, was so rude to me, rude is an understatement actually ...he was very unprofessional and told me that those parts were never there when the car was brought in and that now he was gonna have to fix it for free and it will come out of his paycheck...can you beleive this man! And he kept on going on and on about that and how I am getting things done for free when he is not even responsible for it.He literally raised his voice at me and spoke in a very unprofessional tone.I have definite proof of how I left the car there.The manager was not in and so I had to leave the car there until Monday since its a weekend and now I am really scared, I dont know what he is gonna do to my car...I would not recommened anybody to go there...these people are very unprofessional, the other person, John, handling my car never communicated with me regarding this issue until I went there to pick my car up and he wasnt even working today.Ofcourse, he wasnt working!If you want your car to be in safe hands, DO NOT GO THERE....YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU WILL END UP GETIING BACK!NO STARS !!!
Awful. I explained to the customer service representative on the phone that I was in an accident and needed my car repaired as soon as possible. After being put on hold for 10+ minutes, I was told the next available appointment was over a month away.
I bought all my cars here and bring them all here for service. I have also had to bring some to the collision center - when accidents have occurred. I would never think of going anywhere else! The service that is provided in all three areas of Herb Chambers Braintree cannot be matched!!!
Jeff MacDonald is very rude, brash and unprofessional. Take your car elsewhere customer service is non-existent here. I’m surprised a brand like Lexus would use this place as their preferred collision center- trashy to say the least.
This place is ultra expensive. I wanted to get my front bumper painted. I supplied all the parts. Just to paint the new bumper & fit it to car the quote was 1080.00$
