**UPDATE: I received a call from the manager, Beth. Beth was beyond kind and understanding. She listened and took immediate action to pick up the refrigerator… THAT morning! The credit was issued the next day! Thank you very much for your help, Beth!**We are extremely unhappy with the lack of customer service, lack of follow up and seemingly disregard for a customer.The salesman, Eric was wonderful…bought a side by side refrigerator, was delivered in a very timely manner. The refrigerator doors were left crooked… called and they sent out a repair man to fix this problem. When I got home from work… the doors were still crooked and now one of the lights didn’t work and there was an extremely loud noise coming from the refrigerator sporadically. Called again… was told the reason the doors were crooked was because we had food on one side and not the other. We had No food inside! Then was told to put food in … even though I kindly expressed my disbelief.. I put food in… NOPE!!! Called and explained the situation… was told that the light needed to be replaced… something about the wires… by this time I was done. This was a refrigerator that was supposed to have 2 little indentations on the screen of the water dispenser. Called… said I wanted it picked up and returned… too many problems. Went in to the store to see if they had anything else… nope… so return being done. Great… NOPE! Today is August 24th and they tell me… we can’t pick it up until SEPTEMBER 3rd!!! When I told them that won’t do… I need the credit and the fridge picked up earlier than that so I can put a fridge in my kitchen.( I have kids and need a refrigerator!!!)They tell me that I can drop it off!!! SERIOUSLY!!! Was supposed to get a phone call back from a manager… nope!I am so disappointed and feel like once they got my money… they just don’t care 🤷♀️

Best place to get appliances. Even during a pandemic with very professional and friendly sales to delivery they do it all. Great scratch and dent selection as well if you want to save some money.
When I first came in I thought that they delivered great service. I bought a washer, it looked great, they installed it for me. For the rest of the week, the washer would not work properly because the people who installed did not properly level the machine. They repeatedly tell us that they have this issue all the time with clients buying Speed Queen products. So why didnt they make sure it was leveled before they left? Its been absolutely frustrating and I wont be back. I even sent in my girlfriend and she bought a new stove with them. Absolutely terrible. I hope the stove doesnt give us trouble too.

I understand that Covid has made things difficult for the manufacturers to keep pace with production, and I was told it might be a few weeks before delivery. But here I am more than 90 days later without an update or an ETA. I have called a number of times and no one can give me a realistic timeline for delivery despite promises of ill call you back or ill email you what I hear from my buyerYou shouldnt be taking your customers money if you cannot deliver in a reasonable amount of time or if you cant be bothered to give your customer an ETA for the delivery.I would never have done business with NEA had I know that I would be without a functioning stove for 3+ Months.
Went there to find a scratch and dent fridge for the basement. Prices really do not reflect scratch and dent. Found a fridge in the range I was willing to spend with the front of the door caved in for $600 ended up finding a slightly bigger fridge at Lowes for $400 with no major damage done to it
We just purchased our first home! Our main concern is our existing kitchen. Choosing to remodel has been a process. Today we were out all day looking at cabinets, tiles, flooring, and fixtures. This was an exhausting process with not much luck. We decided to make our last stop New England Appliance— and we are glad we did. We browsed for a bit until we were approached by a very enthusiastic staff member tossing out dad jokes, Larry. He brought my husband and I through every make and model we requested. While he was a fan of the Fridgeaire appliances, he always gave us his honest option about our preferences. Larry is great at what he does. He makes jokes, shares his personal stories, and makes this big purchase seem not so scary. On top of this, he also shared with us the best ways to save money, which is important to a newly married couple. While we had eyes bigger than our wallets, he showed us the best alternative to our ideas. If you are visiting New England appliance ask for Larry ! He turned our whole day around and made us excited about our kitchen again!

They have great prices but I’m quite upset that I ordered my appliances the end of April and I’m still waiting on my fridge and it’s the end of June. My receipt says they were going to be delivered first week of June, I got no warning manufacturers were shut down due to COVID. I called to speak to someone to see if my fridge was in and the lady actually got an attitude with me while I was trying to explain why I was upset.. I think anyone would be frustrated that your whole kitchens done and you’re waiting on appliances that were supposed to come in almost a month ago. I work in customer service and deal with upset clients daily and would never speak to someone the way she did to me, when I have the right to be upset that no one disclosed my appliance wasn’t going to be in for almost a month after purchasing it. I have to say the gentleman who sold us our appliances was lovely. He was willing to work with us considering we bought 4 appliances.. still waiting on all 4 since I don’t want to pay delivering fees twice. Just wish someone would’ve said I’m sorry this happened instead of being rude to me.
After trying for 3 days (including many attempts to reach Frigidaire) I was looking for a new wall air unit for my mother in another state. I was finally able to speak with Terri and not only did she help me figure out the newer model number but was able to order it to come in a couple of days!! quality customer service and much appreciated!!!

This is a VERY good place to purchase all kinds of appliances: stoves, refrigerators, washing machines & dryers. They may have a small bump/ding on them but nothing that would stop their working ability. The prices are quite reasonable. I have enjoyed the appliances I have purchased here over the years. They deliver.

The prices are competitive. The aftermarket 5 year warranty company consumer priority service is a total sham. Save your money and get a manufacturer direct extended warranty. The warranty company actually told me to call the manufacturer once the 1 year was up. They told me the $499. dishwasher at 17 months old was not financially sensible to repair. They offered me $230. to settle the repair claim. They based the offer on the current market value of the machine, minus the $135. service call. The original extended warranty cost us $130. Total scam.New England Appliance should find a more reputable company for extended warranties.UPDATE. To NE Appliances credit, they were able to negotiate a reasonable settlement with the warranty company. They sent a comparable replacement new machine (from their scratch and dent collection which changes constantly and can be a source for great bargains).The only catch was we had to pay for the installation for a second time in less than 24 months.The other thing that seems to have happened in the last 24 months is they switched 3rd party warranty companies for some reason.

I would love to write a positive review here, as I have bought several appliances with New England Appliance and been happy with most of them. The problem comes with the service department. The phone is rarely answered by a live person after pressing 2 to get transferred, and leaving a voicemail is a waste of time--they simply never call back.I had a stove delivered in September and it has yet to fully function properly. There has been a never ending series of replacement parts--some of the same parts replaced more than once--and it still is not working properly. Its been explained to me that they need to follow the manufacturers prescribed services before a full replacement, but when it takes weeks to schedule them to come out (because they are so busy, appointments are hard to come by, and they dont return phone calls so it sometimes takes weeks to get an actual person on the phone to schedule something), and parts have to be replaced more than once, the timeline certainly stretches out quite a bit. To be totally transparent, one of the times they came out, the tenants were not there to meet the technician (although the technician had phone numbers and did not call them--they were in the apartment and didnt hear the doorbell) but there was another time they didnt come at all and once when they showed up at my house (the billing address) instead of the location of the actual stove.My most recent experience is that I left a message on Monday early afternoon--its now almost 4:00 on Wednesday, and I havent received a call back. Thats too long, right, or am I being impatient? Other times, its been in excess of a week and taken me calling them and leaving multiple messages and continuously calling back. This is for an oven that does not work (the burners function properly).I know that Larry sometimes comes on here and writes back to the negative reviews. I would love that--I just want them to do right by a customer who has spent hundreds of dollars there and cant get a call back. Its not right.UPDATE: Beth from customer service called me promptly after posting the review (she had already seen it). I was updated on the part order and scheduled installation for Friday.
So sad that I waited till I had a VERY BAD experience before rating, but I have used them in the past and LOVED the place. ALWAYS recommended it to everyone. Well now not so good. purchased a 3 year warranty and 2 years in refrigerator is leaking so I called and now going on 3 weeks no one is able to help because my warranty was registered to NO ONE!!! so who took the $90 I paid for it???UPDATE: So they made good and sent someone out to fix it. Finally Larry was able to help and even offered a loaner till it was fixed. I forget the women who called me but she donated her husband to come out after a long day of working. He came around 8 and missed time with his children to fix my problem. For them I am very grateful. Im still a little iffy and purchased a new washing machine some place else. Might give it a try if I need anything later down the road.

Its not our problem that we sell damaged crap that doesnt last. If your unit breaks - you are on your own.I wanted to love this store. It had the best prices - but we have found on two occassions why that is the case. If you are lucky enough for your unit to work and last more than 10 years, great. If you are like me and both products fail - I am sure you will have the same experience.After one year of my second purchase - my unit died. I called for some support - and called -- and called -- and called. No one helped. Our voice mails went unanswered. We finally got someone and they told us to call the manufacturer, it was not our problem.If customer service was friendlier - and gave a little more support - I could accept the reality of my situation and loss of over $3,000 in products -- but I am just so unhappy with my experience and feel people should know. Go elsewhere - it is not worth the $100-200 savings. Trust me.

I was desperate for a freezer as mine was on the fritz and failing fast, of course, close to Fourth of July. I could not get a brand new freezer from anyone (Sears, Best Buy, etc.) because all the trucks were full so it would be 4-5 days. I couldnt wait. I needed it ASAP. I was able to go into NE Appliance at 7:30 in the evening and purchase a dent and scratch. I have purchased here before and it had no marks; this one had more than a few dents on the side, but the one on the door bothered me most. They sold it to me at their cost, which I am grateful for, as I needed it ASAP. I would recommend this company highly. I have had several purchases here and have always been satisfied. Thank you.
Just stopped in to compare pricing with Lowes they claim they price match saw the exact model of a gas range and they claim its not and they are $200 more. They seem to be overpriced unless you can get a damaged floor model that where ALL sold. Not worth your time.

My biggest issue is that I needed a fridge delivered by Monday evening. I purchased it on Saturday and the lady there said she would put in a rush on the delivery and that I would be called for delivery Monday morning. Well, its Monday after lunch and I still havent been called. I called earlier and was told they would call me back. My tenants do not have a working fridge right now (since Sunday it has not been working) so I am in wait mood...

This place is NOT your best option for a bargain on appliances! You get what you pay for & let me tell you that God forbid your appliance stops working. The very first time I used my dryer (2 days after my purchase) I wake up to find it had been running all night! Turns out the timer was not working! I immediately contact NE Appliance & boy did I get the run around from these people for 2 weeks! They sent a technician twice to avoid giving me a new dryer & they tried to send him over a third time & I said NO, enough was enough! They even tried to get me to go through Maytag directly when Maytag had nothing to do with my warranty & the store was responsible for selling me a defective product! It took almost 3 weeks for them to finally admit that what they sold me was junk!! They seem nice at the door when you first visit the store & once they swipe your card or take your money forget about it! Politeness & professionalism goes out the door when they have your payment! When I got tired of arguing with the girl in the parts department I asked to talk to the manager & even she was rude & totally brushing off the situation with the incompetent department I was dealing with for 2 weeks! Spend a little more & go to Sears, Home Depot, etc. They back up their sales 100% & will not try for weeks to make you keep a defective appliance! They didnt even offer money back & tried to make me think they gave me an upgrade when they finally switched my dryer! I will NEVER in this life time return to this store even if its to get the deal of the century! Even the sales rep (an older gentlemen who is at the front desk & seems like a cashier too) tried to give me the run around when I called 2 days after my purchase to get some help with the issue! His customer service skills went from a 5 to a 0 in a matter of 2 days & he was a total jerk on the phone! Good luck if you decide to buy from this store! You will regret it a few days later!

We have purchased all of our appliances for a complete redo of our home.Some issues came up that needed attention.Not all that were from the fault of New England Appliance.But Larry Terrio the sales manager jumped right in to help us.He went way beyond what you would find in any store you could buy anywhere.He was always there to answer all of concerns.He also got the right people to help us to help us when we needed help.I had been in auto sales for over 40 years and he would be the best when it came to helping anyone before and after the sale.I have recommended him to all my friends when I talk to them about New England Appliance and about Larry.
Worst service I have ever dealt with in my life... New washer stopped working 2 months old so not a big deal right? One week to get someone to come out and look at... Two weeks to order a new part then one more week after the part comes in to get someone back to the house... Oh and the day we finally have scheduled for service and I take a day off from work to be home they NEVER show up.... 4:00 I get a call from the service guy saying he had the wrong phone number and nobody answered so he didnt stop by the house.....Its not like We have two small kids and have been doing laundry down the street for the last month whats another day no big deal..... Never buying a thing from here again I hope u dont either

Had fridge delivered, and my earrings stolen from my bathrooms sink, both from the same delivery men. I guess I can use my new fridge to try and chill out from the managers burning statement that -Delivery Guy- couldnt have possibly stolen them, as he was from a wealthy family.
Worse place to request repair! They charge $100 JUST to come out! waited one month for the part and charged another $75 to put the part in. After the technician left the fridge still wasnt working correct ( and he broke my bulb and another piece in the fridge) one month later they still havent repaired the fridge..and I had to pay $30 additional dollars to make stop payment on the check! so frustrating! We have no choice but to purchase a new fridge because we dont want to get scammed again and it wont be at New England appliance!!

Im looking for a new refrigerator, and though I was still in the doing homework phase when I came here, I went in with an open mind ready to purchase if they had the right unit. I read their reviews, both here on and another site, in the interest of knowing who I might be dealing with. It has the appearance of a warehouse vs. a store but thats not really important. There were what looked to be quite a few employees, and except for the salesman who approached me, they werent doing anything. I felt bad for him because he was the only one working. I was looking for a simple freezer-on-top, fridge-on-bottom unit, and though they had some, they were mostly Fridgedaires. I saw maybe one Amana.I was not impressed. I want to stay away from Fridgedaire because Ive read a lot of reviews and the quality doesnt seem good. I also dont care for the warranty or how they handle repairs with the refridgerators that nicked or scratched. The warranty doesnt start from when itd leave their store, but rather its tied in with when it/they left the manufacturer. One thing that was consistent in the reviews I read was that when someone has a problem with one of those vs. a new one, its very tough to get to get it fixed. None the less, I asked questions and inquired about a few of them. The man said that theyll price match Best Buy, Home Depot, Loews and one other place I cant think of right now. Thats good, but they get people on the delivery/pickup.....they charge $59 ie $60. I asked if that applied to ones without the bells and whistles, and he said yes but goes back to how theyd beat the other places on prices and how its for both delivery and deposal. I told him I could appreciate that but what swayed me to keep looking is that a few of those places offered price match as well, with free delivery and $15 for disposal. Another thing I thought interesting was how NEA charges depending on what floor you live on, if there is or isnt an elevator, and a few other things I never heard of. Id pay more than someone who lives on the first floor, someone who lives on the 3rd floor would pay more than me, doesnt matter that theres an elevator, and if there werent an elevator, wed all pay more. After that, I wouldnt have bought a refrigerator from them even if they had the right one. Im not sure If I remember correctly but I think they add $10 on for each floor youre on
