Terrible company to deal with as they have a phone system that does not allow you to talk to a real person without waiting for a long time. If someone ever does answer they are not local, usually out of state, and cannot make any decisions. Was 1000 percent better when we could talk to the gals in Baxter. After 30 years with this company I think it may be time to move on

Stopped to see if they can do RV PROPANE fills. The persons behind the counter would not commit to filling propane cause it depends if someone is around. Just an idea train your staff instead of having them send customers somewhere else.If we could give a no stars we would cause they sent us to Moreys ...no RV FILLS.

I’d save yourself the time and frustration and just start with a different gas company. I had a signed contract and delivery date in written email....waited and nothing. Called the company only to find out that it wasn’t going to work for them. Well, good thing I called to find this out. Terrible customer service, awful company to work with. Gave 1 star because couldn’t give zero and atleast they did me a favor by not delivering anything and I didn’t get stuck with this company. Worst customer service!

Absolutely the WORST propane company to deal with.As if lying about the contracted rates over the winter wasnt bad enough... or not honoring what I was quoted, these people are actually confused by how to handle leftover propane when you move and leave propane behind. I had to pull teeth in order to get them to agree to do a meter reading on the day we left, so we could be refunded the amount still in the tank from the home we were renting. The customer service was SO POOR, I even tweeted how disgruntled I was. A few days later, I got a call from Ferrellgas headquarters - who was EVEN WORSE. When I explained the situation, the woman on the other end had the audacity to say Oh, I see youre an author. Why do you even need propane anyway? You should just burn all the extra copies of your book you have lying around. I KID YOU NOT. She seriously said that.After much going back and forth, I finally got Ferrellgas- Brainerd to agree to lock off our tank and do a final reading and refund what was left on our move out day. Low and behold - one month later, it was never done. Good thing I expected as much and I took a photo of the remaining gas left, or there is NO WAY they were going to refund me the full amount left.This company is argumentative, distasteful, hard to work with, and their customer service is abysmal. STAY AWAY if you value your money, and an upfront company.

Very hard to deal with called to schedule new hook up, waited for info to be sent to me about rates, called 2 times for 2 weeks. A month later still nothing so gave them the benefit of the doubt and called to schedule anyway asked about fees was told a flat rate. When they finally set the tank a month later 2 weeks after that I received a bill for $380 more then what I was quoted. It took 5 to 6 calls where I was told they would get back to me, then they finally did and I was told the price is the price. I then told them to come get there tank and gas line. I would never recommend this horrible company to anyone ever. I have never complained about any company who has ever done work for me but this was the worst service I have ever dealt with. The only thing I wish is I could give them negative stars.
