Clean with a lots of craft items and material to choose from. No one asked if they could help. Material is definitely higher than I was expecting, but, I am far from being an expert on that(maybe the quality is supposed to be better?). I would say for a variety of crafts,they may have something you could use,but, some didnt have a lot to choose from for some crafts.

This particular locations workers gave enough of a calming, helpful experience,I was motivated to come on here and give this review. All of them, especially the girl at the front counter with the dark hair, wish Id caught her name...all of them were helpful, and provided a calm atmosphere that definitely helped counter my regular panic attacks in public.

The store closes at 8pm instead of 9pm. We were surprised the hours listed on Google Maps are incorrect. The mall closes at 8 so they do too. The staff was defensive about it being incorrect and they didn’t seem like they had the capability to update it. Other customers were also disappointed showing up after we did. It’s inconvenient to make a trip all the way there and we don’t have time to shop. Thanks for fixing this problem.

Staff is rude and incredibly disrespectful. The 200% mark up on Amazon products is annoying too. I recommend shipping else were unless you need that one item right now and can afford to pay 3 times what it worth.

I went in to the store for 2 items. One of which was a little bit of sticker shock. Anyways, I got to the checkout counter and the worker asked if I had any coupons. No. She then asked if I had a smart phone, if so, I could pull up the Joann’s website and use the 40% off an item coupon. Yes!!!! That is customer service!!!! Saved $32 on my sticker shock item. It made my day, she didn’t need to do that but it was so NICE of her to do!! Thank you for saving me money!

Found some cool home decor on clearance thats always a plus

Love this place but cant find things that I went in for. Fabric is a little pricey but they do have a good variety. If beading, huge selection.

Very limited beading supplies and they no longer carry Swarovski crystals.

I freaking love Joann fabrics and crafts . They always have my beads and craft my craft supplies. The coupons are amazing and if you have an account you can save more.

The Brainerd/Baxter Joanns has the friendliest staff of all the Joanns Ive shopped. I had even quit shopping at Joanns for a bit due to poor service in Fargo. But now I stop in as often as I can due to these folks!! Keep up the good work!

Unfriendly staff. That is par for the course here, but today I didnt actually have a chance to interact with them. I arrived at 5:58. (1 hour and 2 minutes before the closing time) I was dismayed to see that the sign in the entrance stated that they closed at 5pm. However, the store seemed to be open. So. I went in, and was informed that the store would be closing in 2 minutes. Inconsistency. I guess they didnt want my business! It would nice if they would figure out what time they actually close on Sundays. Is it 5? 6? 7? I suppose I was reminded why I never want to go here.

My favorite crafty stores. Me and my kids can always find things here and I always end up leaving with things I didnt expect to buy and dont regret buying. Bug selection of fabrics, yarns, and supplies of all sorts.

The staff was helpful. Prices are about average or a bit above. Shop specials and use coupons. The store is quite cramped.

Much kinder and friendlier than the Shakopee store. No issues. Everyone was up to the job and even the girl that cut my fabric said she is just learning to sew but very good with the cutting. I was impressed with the overall experence.

The unfriendly staff was a real surprise... 😒The mall was deserted, as it seems to be dying off, but Joannes is the only craft store for many miles, so that is where one can shop for crafting supplies. As one of only 2 customers we had to step aside from the store manager going past, as the only way not to be nudged out of the way. No acknowledgement, no pardon-me, no thank-you... Nothing. She was not carrying anything, not helping someone else, just talking intermittently to an employee. I was in the store for 20 minutes before giving up on the store due to the poor service, and only on the way out did one of the 3 employees (not the manager) even offer a greeting . I was really surprised. Stunned. In a failing mall, one would think that customer care would be a higher priority to retain what customers they can. I can buy more cheaply online, but tried to support the local economy by shopping in person, only to be ignored by the staff of 3 for 20 minutes. A hello would have been all that was required, but it took 20 minutes to get even that. Some customer service training is in order, at the very least, possibly a change in management.The store was neat, clean, and while it is the smallest JoAnn Fabrics I have ever seen, it had what I needed. Sadly, after my experience there today, I decided my money was not earned by them. JoAnn Fabric Management: this is a failure.

HOWEVER, the (BRAINERD,MN) Store has had POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE for the past 6-8The EMPLOYEES AVOID YOU like the “PLAGUE”.....
