I was searching for an older product that their website said was available. I was really surprised when I saw it was in stock and ordered it right away with cautious optimism. Receive an email the same day the item was ordered that it was being processed. The next day I received an email saying the item was awaiting shipment. After a week I had not received any further updates so I called the store and was told the item was probably coming from another store and had to be sent to the main store then shipped to me. Another week went by and I called again, the same gentleman answered and told me he would leave a note in the system and get back to me as soon as possible, but he never did. Another week went by and I heard nothing so I called again, same gentleman, and explained that it was a discontinued item and that if it was not really available I wouldnt be upset I just wanted the truth. The gentleman was surprised it was a discontinued item and asked if a replacement was available from the manufacturer would that be OK? I said yes, as long as it as going to be shipped with in the week as I needed the item for an upcoming hunting trip. The gentleman said OK be would find out and give me a call, which again he didnt. Another week went by and I called again, same gentleman, he told the new replacement model had been ordered and it would arrive at their store with one or two days then shipped to me. TWO weeks went by and I called again, this time a different person answered, told me the same thing I was told two weeks earlier, the item was arriving in one or two days then shipped to me. When I said that was what I had been told two weeks ago the gentleman very rudely said fine, Ill just refund you. I said that was fine and figured it was done. After two weeks I still had not received a refund and had to call back again to ask why the refund had not been processed. I was told a manager would call me back when he was back in the store, which I never received a call back. I did receive an email from the processing company and final received my refund a week later.I ordered the newer item directly from the manufacturer and received it in about 10 days.This was probably going to be the only item Id ever order from Archery Country since I am 12 hours away and have never and most likely will never hunt in Minnesota. But if anyone ever asks me if Ive heard of Archery Country Ill tell them to avoid them like the plague.
Love my Raven crossbow! Had an issue with string breaking Jake replaced bow and set me up with wonderful Orion blind! Great guy to deal with.

I needed a new string on my crossbow and they had it DONE in a day. I’d give them a 5 except no employees wore masks during COVID-19. So selfish lack of concern for customers is a negative.
This is the go-to place for anyone interested in archery whether just looking for target practice or getting ready for hunting to have it all. anything you buy there they will help you put on your bow as well which is nice because you dont have to worry about buying it at a big store and not putting it on correctly. The techno Hunt is definitely the coolest thing they are because it has so many options for different animal selection and they help you get everything ready and its super fun for everyone whether youre just starting out or an expert Archer. Jasonhas been wonderful help with everything with my bow and has fixed it numerous times which has been a godsend. Wouldnt go anywhere else for any archery needs.
Extremely helpful and knowledgeable employees. Great product selections. A bit over priced on some items but decent stock. The techno hunt is really fun for some competitive shooting and it is actually really quite accurate. They have a pretty decent sized shooting room for targets up to 20 yards away. They offer full bow servicing right there and often times while you wait. No one else in the Brainerd area offers what these guys do.
Our family has purchased nearly a dozen bows plus numerous accessories from Archery Country.The staff is very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. They make sure that every customer, from the novice to the most experienced, has the best chance at a successful hunt.If you live in the Brainerd Lakes area, there is no better place for all of your archery needs.A little heads up, if you go there any time around the beginning of archery season, they are very, very busy. Went to trade in a used bow I had, to purchase a brand new Matthews bow. The salesman told me that the quiver I had wouldn’t fit the new bow and that I need to buy a Matthews quiver. I had already spent $200 on the quiver I had, so the salesman offered to give me trade in value on it. Upon completing the sale, I ended up spending just north of $1000. When I got home I noticed there was no credit for my quiver. I went back about a week later and talked to the same guy who insisted we would never have done anything like that. And that he never took a quiver from anyone on a trade. Well long story short, I am out that quiver, I found out with the right bolts it would have fit my new bow, and that I now no longer have a shop to go to that I can trust to give me the best deals and advice.

This place sucks!!! First time bow hunter, I walked in and started trying bows out, it took 10 min for anyone to realize there, as I moved down the line of bows, a salesman with a family came over and basically pushed me out of the way..... 0 consideration, Ill NEVER GO BACK!!!
