Let just start with another one star review, thats now 37 for Gravely In Bradenton. Went to drop off my mower for a warranty work and was charged for labor and parts. I asked for a phone call to let me know what is wrong with my mower and equipment. Never got a phone call I had to drive twice to them to get an update all they had to do is make a courtesy call. They also gave me quotes for repairs that were in correct. They charge $70.00 to change a spark plug that takes 10 seconds which is pathetic they should be ashamed of doing so. They also broke my seat on my mower wich is probably not cheap to replace it.I will never step foot into there dealer as the owner is very incompetent on how to run a businesses and makings thing right. Instead here is this 37th one star review. They dont stand behind there work or there quotes and yet they fix and repair stuff that you did not ask them to do and expect you to pay for other services that you did not approve of or ask them to do this is not acceptable by no means. The owner John did not see any issues with his employees giving quotes that are not correct and also charging for the same repairs over and over and not actually fixing the issue and actually give you information on what is actually broken or why its not running right. Im sure there will be many more one stars reviews on there website if they keep this going this up.

Very satisfied with this place. Sale guy Brent was great and took his time with me and put up with me and my tons of questions. They had the best price of the 3 places i shopped and have a ton of mowers and choices so you dont feel pressured into buying only one to two brands like some of the other much smaller places offer.

I bought my SNAPPER at Gravely’s... I recently had service done on this mower.The work done was a basic annual service... the cost was excessive and I was not happy with that service. I spoke to John, the owner... He was very RUDE, and didn’t seem to care at all about his employees incompetency ... the service done was sloppy and incomplete! I will NEVER go back to Gravely’s for anything... this company has gone down hill lately, why? I believe the owner is the reason!

Terrible service. Asked the shop to fix the blades was told it would be about $100. So them 9 asked them to run though and it and give me a price on getting it up to pay (mind you the mower ran fine before) $460 later I get it home and didnt run for 20.minutes before the other belt broke because the guides were still loose from when they worked on it. Now they want me to bring it all the way back so they can figure it out. Which probably means another couple hundred dollars. Im good ill take it somewhere else. Save your money go somewhere worth spending your money.

Called parts and wanted to know if a manual was available for my particular model. They were SO dis-interested in helping me that it was litterly disgusting. The worst customer service Ive experienced in a long time.They kept telling me Check the internet. Well, I DID. for two days before I called them. I told them that a manual for my older model 300 cant be found and they replied Customers have been doing this for years and they never have a problem. OK.. So I guess Im a liar and just spent two days of searching because I have too much time on my hands. NO HELP WHATSOEVER!

Happy with this shop. Tons of inventory and they seem to stock every part unlike most other places. All the other little places always have to order stuff cause adn thats a pain. I like walking in an them having the parts ready to go. they were much cheaper than mowers inc or preferred turf places.

Bought cub cadet xt46 delivered with a flat tire in 2018..put it in for annual service this spring 2020. got back a lawn tractor that stalls after cutting 1500 sq ft.found bad pto breaks and called..told they dont check that in annual service. told them it was stalling..didnt check that.from service to appointments no one knows what they are doing and doesnt really care..i sent them 3 customers..now we use a local bradenton mower expert..these are some confused people who will jerk you around.

I typically dont write reviews that are negative in nature, as I try to resolve my issue with the company/ owner. However, in this instance nothing was resolved for me and was treated like I, the customer didnt matter.We dropped our mower off to be fixed and the mower was scraped. Granted, this mower was only a year old. So, my guess, they sold it to another customer. They stated they had records of them calling us, funny thing is we have all records of no calls as well. I stated that I would take any mower at this point, because it is the rainy season. The owner would not do anything about this. His employees would take my number and say they would call back, never received a call. I Was actually disrespected by the owner with a rude comment and never once did anyone state, Im sorry this happened .So.... I would never recommend this place to anyone. Also, if you take a look at all the reviews, most satisfied people are those who bought new. Thats the easy part. Where the rubber meets the road is how you treat customers and deal with conflict.

I dropped my newer push mower off several months ago to be fixed and they said that they will call me back. Months go by and I never get a call back now they are saying the mower isn’t there. My guess is that they have sold the mower I will never go here again very dishonest people. If you need a mower shop to go too go with preferred turf we’re there is actually honest people and there not trying to rip you off.

Counter staff range from competent & Pleasant to clueless & unpleasant. Out of 10 experiences Ill give them 7 out of ten have been poor. It is quicker, cheaper and easier to drive 10 miles out of our way and be appreciated.New equipment pricing is competitive.Service has always been pleasant . This mower repair store promised all these things, and when I received the mower we did not get what they promised. The mower did not work properly, and the repair was over $850 this is not ok. When I called to speak to the manager whos name is (John he simple used profanity and hung up.) This customer service is the worst experience ever!! Warning to everyone they will rip you off!!

The only positive thing about Gravely of Bradenton is their inventory. I bought parts today for a piece of new equipment that I bought from them a few years ago. I gave them my model number and serial number and they managed to sell me most of the wrong parts. The parts they sold me were for a larger deck zero turn. I had to return twice which was a 15 mile round trip each time. No apologies, no nothing. This is not the first time for wrong parts even though I gave them the correct model and serial number. I was going to splurge for a new zero turn at Gravely of Bradenton but not any more.

This place does not honor their product. If you purchase one of their machines and end up with a lemon, they will not let you return it and get your money back or exchange it for one that works without you the purchaser, losing money literally. Because I see some compliments on this page concerning this business, I will conclude Gravely of Bradenton chooses who to provide good service to and honor their product. Be wary consumers, if they deliver a machine to your house that does not work, you are stuck with a new faulty machine that they will fix but may also continue to have problems in the near future.

On 8/29/18 I purchased a Honda EM6500SX Gen. They in error delivered a EU7000si. Then they called and said they delivered the wrong generator. I looked into the Gen they delivered and told them I would pay the extra $1700 and keep this one. The manager told me it was sold and he had no more in stock. I let them swap it out with the understanding I wanted to upgrade. Now 5 days later after the Holiday weekend they want a 15% restocking fee ($450) for me wanting to give them an additional approx $1700. Be very sure before you make a purchase with them as they wont work with the customer.

These people are extremely over priced on parts and could care less. There is one person there that I would deal with only if there is no other place to go in town. Example the same kohler part, same bag same part number, the exact same thing. Other place $8.97 gravely was $37.00. We ask if it was an error, was told to be happy it wasnt $60.00 it happens every time I have to use them. BAD place...

The price on there product is ok but the service department gave me a false quote on changing a belt, even told me they had to do things they didnt have to do. They wanted to charge for 2 hours of work, I ended up changing it myself in the parking lot in 20 minutes. I give this place a very poor rating for bad work ethic and faulty information.

A few years ago I was warned not to go here for service on my mowers. I was told this place was awful, (whatever that means). This year, I decided to try them and come to my own conclusion, no business is perfect. I have had routine service and repairs done on 3 different mowers, including one that was completely submerged in our pond, and I have nothing but great things to say about this them. I live way out of town - they picked up and delivered my mowers - their pricing was competitive and fair - and my mowers have all come back running like new again, (and they are NOT new). Mike and the staff have been excellent. What else can I say? 5 Stars!!!

I can only tell my experience. Called and talked to scott. He told me he needed to model number. Decided to stop by and gave him the number. He looked up the part and their price was$200 less than another dealer. They had to order it and the tampa warehouse didnt have it. It came a few days later. Mary sue called me, whom i know very well and i picked up the parts. At the same time i ordered 2 other parts and they arrived next day. If u need parts call mary sue sweet lady, also u need to call around to price. U cant believe the difference from one shop to the other

I give this business a 0 out of 10 rating. I dropped my Walker lawnmower off on Monday morning, Mike the service manager told me he would call me Tuesday with a price, I called on Wednesday, he told me would get me a price tomorrow, called again on Thursday, same answer- tomorrow. I went and picked it up the following Monday (it sat in their lot for a whole week without being looked at) and took it to another Walker dealership that took care of it that day! Their obviously too busy to care of their customers. My advice: go to Rices Outdoor Power on 14th st.

These people are just to take your money, they dont care about customer service!! I found Southwest Florida tractors in Sarasota very helpful, Preferred turf equipment, and Mowers Inc. in Sarasota all are much better to deal with, Steil chainsaws go to Rice appliances in Bradenton 41...I hope this is helpful !!!

Dont trust this company. My daughter paid nearly $200 for a used push mower and was told it was a 2011 model and was a good runner good runner. On the way home it leaked gas in the car and when she tried to use it it would only run for a minute or two - just enough time for them to demonstrate it. I tried to do something with it, but it was a lost cause. When I checked the serial number it was a 2004 mower, although the engine had two different plates on it showing different dates. I took it back with her and the manager said it was sold as-is with no warranty. I said this was not about warranty this was about misrepresenting and selling a defective product and surely he had a reputation to consider. He did not care and said the rules are the rules. When I suggested that on this occasion the rules should be forgotten he told me I needed to shut up as that was not going to happen. He said they would fix it for her, but there would be a charge. I pointed out again that it should have been working the first time and how could he charge her when it had not even cut one blade of grass. He then said he would give her a full credit against another mower. We looked at their sorry selection of used mowers and she would have been no better off. We then looked at the new mowers and I used my credit card to pay the difference for a new one. I have given them one star, because at least their Toro mower was the same price as Home Depot. I have never dealt with such an arrogant and uncaring manager and would advise everyone to steer clear of this company. Clifford Skilton.
