Payton gave a courtesy call 15 minutes before arriving. Was right on time for our semi-annual service on our 18 year old AC unit. He did a thorough check with state of the art equipment. He checked all inside vents, thermostat and cleaned inside and outside of the A/C unit. William showed us before and after pics.We inquired about a Second Wind air purifier w UV lights. William is very knowledgeable and informative about our A/C and the Second Wind air purifier. I cannot express how impressed I am with Veteran Air. I recently had an issue with our existing unit. Veteran Air was the only company out of several that was able to respond the next day (August in Florida). The service tech was amazing and professional and had the job complete within an hour. We also requested Veteran Air give us an estimate for a new system. The salesman, John, was very personable and very professional. The quote was far less than other companies and coupled with everything else, including Veteran Airs background, I will be a Veteran Air customer for the foreseeable future. I had never used Veteran Air before, but service representative Brittany responded to my emergency call of no-air-on-a-90-degree evening, with assurance that an after-hours technician would assist. Technician Charles expertise had the system up and running within a brief period of time; He also provided me with photos of the air conditioning unit problem, and gave suggestions for eliminating future similar issues. I so value the way Veteran Air does business that I have switched my service contract from another company to this excellent responsive company.

Of course, my AC broke down on a Sunday. I called and a representative called me back relatively quickly and the tech was out within a few hours. Unfortunately, I needed a whole new system. The technician was very knowledgeable and professional and I did not feel like it was a high pressure sale to buy any products or service I didnt need. New AC was installed today. The technicians did a great job, everything looks good, my house is cool and they left everything clean and looking great. It is never enjoyable to need an unexpected, major home repair but this was the best possible experience I could have had. I would highly recommend this company.

My AC was not cooling due to a Freon leak. The service technician was unable to locate the leak, so the problem remains. Additional Freon was added, at a cost of over $400. Not bad for a 20 minute service call… Most disappointment and confusion was related to all the pricing options for the service performed. Clearly the objective is to sell the customer on an annual maintenance plan. After several attempts, I was finally given a price for the service performed and paid the bill. All I wanted was my AC fixed at a fair price. Needless to say, I won’t be calling Veteran Air next time my AC goes down.

We have been using Veteran Air Heating & Air Conditioning for approximately one year, after having tried several other companies in the Sarasota, FL area, and have found Veteran to be well-qualified, efficient, friendly, available during late evening and reasonably priced.

I did my homework and researched different systems and multiple quotes, it wasn’t until Veteran Air came to my home and explained everything to me about the different products and quality of units they provide, they even educated me on how a different quote that was provided to me would negatively impact me. I felt more comfortable that day with their service than anybody else. The best part about it, the price was the best provided with a better unit than the competitors.

I have a service policy with Veterans Air. The office staff is very friendly and they call and send me a reminder when I need service. The service tech Javier called to tell me he was on his way. He was very nice. He has done maintenance on my air conditioner before. Explained what he found with my AC unit etc. I was very pleased with the service he provided. Using Veterans Air has been a positive experience.

Had them come out for second opinion, was told by another company that I’d need a new system soon. Jon looked at it and also reminded me I still had 10 months of warranty left and said I should wait. Honest, no sales pitch, felt like he had my best interest in mind.

I chose Veteran for several reasons and had been very happy with the install, service and new HVAC system....until my condensation tube clogged and overflowed. It never tripped the system because it was not wired correctly. This should have been caught when the first QC check was done, or in 3 other maintenance checks over 2 years. Also, the drain could not have been sucked out at any visit because I did it before the new unit was installed and it wouldnt have clogged up in just over a year and a half (I dont believe). However, they fixed everything at not charge, and are giving me 2 more free maintenance checks, which was the right thing to do. So, I will contact them again if I need a new unit, but will mention this and make sure it is checked.

I have a service contract with Veterans Air. They installed my system a few years back. More than once, Ive had to call back for an issue that should have been caught on the maintenance call 2 months back. The drain for the evaporator clogged with green algae and backed up soaking the plywood box the air handler rests on.I had to pay &199. for the tech to blow the line out. The service contract is expensive and not worth much, too many hungry companies for me to pay too much for too little. Im done with the contract, Ill find and try out another company.

Our serviceman (Peyton) was prompt, corteous, and thoroughly explained each step that he performed during maintenance. There were some issues and he explained those in a very understandable way and they were corrected during the visit. We found that our A/C compressor was failing. Veteran Air handled our warranty work as well as the installation of the new compressor. They were very professional, knowledgeable and they scheduled a timely replacement. I would refer them to anyone who needs A/C work.

I had an issue with my new AC so I called Veterans at 830am and they answered promptly, listened to my problem and arranged for someone to honor in the afternoon. At 1130 I got a call from Adam the AC tech and met him 20 minutes later. Adam was polite and professional, got right to work figuring out what was wrong. Turned out to be fairly simple but Adam took the time to go through everything and make a few adjustment s as well. Adam was a genuinely nice guy who was concerned about fixing my AC properly. Service was great! I called at around 9am and they said they will get someone out after 2pm. I got a call at 10:30am with a rep asking if it was OK to come then. Very professional and informative. Identified the issue and fixed it fairly quick. Completed some other preventive measures to avoid future issues. My house was back to its normal cool within hours.

I used to use Cool Today. I recently left them after I had two back to back horrible experiences. I was looking for a new maintenance provider for my ac. When my blower motor went out on a very warm Florida day I called Veteran air. They showed up within a hour and took care of my part that was still under warranty. My air conditioning quit June 15 so I called veteransin the late afternoon. They had Peyton come out the next morning. He found a defective part in the air handler and fixed it. Now the system works perfect. He checked everything else out in the system and explained everything to me. I am on a service contract with veteran and am very happy with their service and prices. I am a disabled veteran and will be recommending this company to all my friends and neighbors.

Warranty new instal follow up After the new installation of our new AC unit. we had some issues with the AC heating up and Veteran Air its been very professional and helpful with our follow up calls regarding our problem they came to install a temporary thermostat wire from air handler to condenser. Matt came out on a free second opinion call to inspect my A/C unit. His knowledge, suggestions, and professionalism were outstanding. He was able to give me much more diagnostic information than the other guys. He also offered various financing options for me to consider that I would not have come up with on my own. When the time comes to replacing my unit I will definitely be using Veteran Air. (The “other guy” spent 2 hours trying to sell me, throwing numbers out left and right, and was supposed to follow up with an email quote. I never got the email)

I’m purchasing the house I’m currently renting and wanted to get an estimate for a new AC system. Jon arrived on time, in a Veteran Air vehicle and uniform and was extremely professional. The technician, Eli, was extremely knowledgable and understanding. I explained that I had got the unit running by vacuuming the drain line but I didnt feel it was clear. (Note: I had a service call four days earlier with a different technician and I had performed a vacuuming prior to his visit, I also explained that I thought there was still a plugged line, not a good result from this service call). Anyway, Eli listened to me and did a complete check of the drain line, he spent a lot of time making sure the drain was clear, and what came out was disgusting, looked like intestines!!!.Great service form Eli!!!

Had a great service man William. He was very thorough and explained all that he did to the system. Found a contactor that was about fried and changed it out before it burned up. I will definitely use Veterans Air again and I highly recommend them.

Well, I read all of the good things in NEXT DOOR, and decided to give them a shot, as I had no AC as night was approaching.wow, is understatement!!! They were prompt in responding, Brittany who took the call was a pleasure to speak with and told me when I could expect a technician. They diagnosed and fixed the unit, and checked other components including the filter. Their invoice which included pictures of the repairs and meters was something that I had never seen before. Unbelievable is all I can say, other than they will have my business going forward. :)

Excellent customer service by Peyton. He communicated very well and provided options for us. He serviced our pool heater as well. Had a new York unit installed last week. The service provided by Veteran Air was excellent! Craig came out to run diagnostics on the old (15+ years) York system and was honest with the findings. He even sent pictures he took of the unit while running diagnostics, he explained each issue. Cost of the parts needed to be replaced and how each part works within the AC unit. Since it was cheaper to replace the unit rather than having to repair it, a visit from a Comfort Advisor was scheduled for the next day to go over the options available.Jon, was on time and took his time in explaining each system available. He was a true professional and did not try to up sell. Once it was decided on the best option for a replacement, the paperwork was done. Jon was able to schedule the installation for later that afternoon.Within the hour after Jon made the call for installation, Elton and Rudy arrived with the new unit! Both of them worked quickly and efficiently in removing the old unit (including the hurricane anchor/pad) and installed the new unit & new hurricane anchor/pad. They were very respectful of my home and even removed their footwear before entering my home to install the new thermostat. Elton and Rudy were very friendly and took the time to answer my many questions regarding the installation. The installation took less than 3 hours and I am very happy with the new unit and service provided by Veteran Air! I highly recommend that anyone seeking a reputable and honest HVAC company, research Veteran Air and schedule a visit from them!

Its an old unit that needs to be replaced but Im having a new roof put on first. He took pictures of the inside and outside units and explained everything in detail. He was very knowledgeable and not at all pushy to buy a new unit. I will be calling them when my unit goes out. Andrew went above and beyond to keep my A.C. running a little longer. My A/C suddenly stopped working. I called the office at Veteran Air and they showed up within a couple of hours to fix the issue. The technician Jet quickly found the issue with the drain pipe and got me up an running in less than 15-minutes. After he fixed the issue he gave it an overall check. We were very pleased with Jets service and professionalism.

Javier was at the home the day I called in and, made a good assessment of the issues. He made 2 proposals, one repair and the second replace. He was courteous and knowledgeable. We took his information and made the decision to not repair an old unit. He made quick arrangements to have the new unit and ductwork installed.Jeff and Greg arrived in the morning and worked so hard. It was difficult work but they were steady on it and we were cooled down by late afternoon. I highly recommend these fine individuals. Veteran Air not only offered the most competitive pricing, but their warranty on a new York system was for 10 years on both parts and labor, which the other companies did not offer without additional fees. We called them at 11am on Saturday because we needed a new A/C & they were here by 2pm to go over everything & give us a quote. I have always been pleased with the service from Veteran Air. Mike today was very knowledgeable, thorough. I have used this company for many years and trust their technicians to always do a good job.

I had Billy and Jerry out to do a move on my AC unit and install of a new hot water tank, then I had Blake come out to repair my AC unit. These 3 guys are the absolute best. They are professional, they know there stuff, they are polite, pleasant and just a refreshing joy to have the pleasure of meeting. I would highly recommend Veterans Air, they are prompt, honest, caring and a leader in their field.

I cant speak highly enough of the Veteran Air team. They are professional and responsive. Always return phone calls. And have very reasonable prices. On more than one occasion they could have really put us to sleep, but quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it for a nominal charge. I guaranty at least one other area company (they know who they are) would have tried to sell us a whole new system and charged thousands. Highly recommend.

Service rep was courteous and well versed in his products. I ended my awful experience with Nest and switched to a Honeywell. Also installed a whole house filtration system. All working well. Also received 15% discount for being a vet. Thanks Veteran Air!

We have had a contract with a very large corporation here in Sarasota since 2015. Their service techs never really want to work and sit in their van in driveway instead of taking care of maintenance. The tech today told my husband to drain the valve and that would correct the problem and said he had to go to Myakka City. “No charge”. Veteran air was here within a 4 hour window and got us back up and cooling! I will never call that other corporation again! Thank you Veteran Air!😁. I’m cool again!

I spoke directly with Justin who is extremely Pleasant and courteous. The wealth of knowledge he shared about a heat pump system I was interested in installing spoke volumes. She reassured me and every instance replacing a obsolete system but not only be more efficient but save me money in the long run. The installation would be involved and from his conversation he was so meticulous in his description of what he would be doing I knew that this could only be the company I would use. Thank you Justin for all your help your prettiest demeanor youre thorough explanation you made this process extremely easy.

Our AC stopped running. We were working with 2 bids and the other company came out (Sunday) said the unit was old and needed to be replaced! Charged us $179 did nothing but look, said the estimator would be in touch! The unit was still going on and off! Mostly off.Veterans, I think Mike, came out (Monday) opened up unit, checked everything and showed us crumbling parts inside! He also hosed off the coil and the unit started running normally and continued 3 days until replaced! He charged nothing for all this! Our decision was made and we chose Veterans Air over the other company! Real rare to get any real good Customer Service these days and they continued to be responsive and helpful through the installation process! Hats off to Veterans Air

I highly recommend Veteran Air! They installed a new system and we have had their maintenance service since. They are professional and courteous, clean and quick. Andrew was out to do our maintenance today and he was so thorough and gave great advice on how we can keep our system running smoothly for as long as possible. Honest and reliable from the office to the service techs.

Veterans Air was excellent to purchase a new system from and professional for sure. Everything went perfect ! We bought an upgraded Trane and we are very happy. Special thx to the great installer Elton. He was fantastic. And working with John O’Dell was also smooth and easy. I highly recommend Veterans Air.

They scheduled me same day, said the tech would be at my home between 12 and 5 pm. He was at my house at 1pm. It started pouring rain on him but he kept working on my air conditioner! He was drenched and still had a smile on his face when he came to talk to me. Was there an hour and a half and everythings great now my house will finally start cooling down.

They were prompt and very nice to deal with! The cost was fair and I would use them again.
