This is a nice store. The assistants are very helpful and the manager was very easy to work with when we needed to change something. We visit quite often and will continue to do so. Good prices as well!

Always find great deals on everything Im looking for and several other items didnt know I needed.

They are very well stocked with merchandise. I love shopping around there because I dont get there as often as I like. They have neat things that other stores do not. Employees are are so helpful and friendly.

Not great. Took a friend to return her 2nd of the two generators bought there that didnt work. GM was there but left the Store Manager to deal with the refund. The Manager attempted to refund the money to a gift card, but after my friend refused that option, he did refund with cash.He wasnt verbally rude but his action and attitude during the whole ordeal was cold.After the refund was made, my friend made another purchase with the manager. He did say thank you and have a nice day.I personally will not recommend this store because of his cold shoulder and attitude that we were a bother to him.

Harbor Freight is the best place for low budget tools for the homeowner. We dont use our tools often, so why buy top of line power tools. Even if it quits, return, get a new one to replace the bad boy! Good customer service, and, well stocked shelves. One can almost find anything you need for diy projects. Plenty of parking including handicap.

Really friendly and you can actually find staff unlike most stores. The prices are good and i think the quality of their items have improved over the years

I always prefer smaller stores over the big ones. This store had exactly what I needed. It took me all of 30 seconds to find it. The store is laid of simply and the isle signs are easy to find.

Awesome staff!! I have been making some really big orders with this team and they always go above and beyond.I believe I spoke to a new manager who wasnt quite familiar with are prior visits where we would leave a list,and pickup all the items, which he said couldnt get done this visit,not his fault.But, one thing he did do, was guide me in the best path and reserve and find the items I needed at other locations. Credit card machines were down which was a bummer, but as soon as they were up, we were all set to load up! Thank you all for being great!!

Here is a good place to find everything you need. The prices are excellent. However, the quality of the products is very low. Anyway, everything here has a total warranty of 9 days and some items all life. Recommend.

Just bought a power washer there. Kind of upset that the hose kinks up. Cheap hose. Price was good tho. People were friendly and will to help.

Not my first visit by any means...but I was in a hurry and just needed directions in where to find things...the woman at the register was a walking directory...gave me absolute directions to find exactly what I wanted.. phew!!!! Great customer service! Wish I could remember her name.. Thank you!! Ill be back ...for sure!

I changed my five-star rating down to three because they do have almost everything you might need whether its a hobby or a necessary repair. I used to always have a really good experience there but the last time I went in. The staff was nowhere near as nice and helpful as they used to be of course all the great bargains require a membership. and all the coupons that I saved didnt work on the items that I was buying so make sure you get out a really BIG magnifying glass from somewhere and read the small print on the bottom of the coupon before you waste YOUR TIME and the trip.

Harbor Freight specializes in overseas sourced consumer grade tools. This usually means China (but not always). Often the same model tool will come in two (sometimes more) SKU numbers-meaning they are sourced from different factories. Often these are the same factories that the big box stores buy from. I had a recent experience where the same TV wall mount bracket in the blue box being sold at Harbor Freight was being sold at my favorite big box store. Same blue box, different name on the otherwise identical box and bracket, being sold for almost 3x the price.Having said that, the quality you get at Harbor Freight is a mixed bag. The large drill press and dust collection unit I bought there work as well as the much more expensive units I could have bought from mid grade to low high end grade brands. The forstener bit set, the Brad tip drill set, and many other tools were a great bargain for a decent tool, but Ive also been greatly dissatisfied with some of the stuff, which has been, well, cheap junk.I still tend to buy a tool at Harbor Freight first, to try it out. For many things that is good enough, and Ive saved some serious money. But there are many items that Ive become frustrated with and then have gone out and bought a mid to low high end brand. I tend to know then exactly what I want and what features matter to me. Harbor Freight of late has been sourcing new brands to compete with the mid grade to low high end brands. Like I said, a mixed bag.

Great low prices I need for my job

When you need a tool to make the job easier and you might use it again next year then this is the place. This is not to say they dont have good quality tools, but they also have the low end covered. There are lots of things to get the job done for a reasonable price and the price for things like zip ties cant be beat.

Always find a few things each visit. Even if I need nothing...great store. Keep up the great work.

The (female) employees are consistently unfriendly. I was not greeted upon entrance to the store, yet as I waited to check out(which took over ten minutes) they greeted every man that entered the store, lol.

June 22,2020. This is a nice big clean store with helpful staff but little inventory!! Half the stuff I wanted (automotive battery charger, solar battery tender, and air compressor) were all out of stock and the staff did not have a way of telling me when they would be restocked. Staff did call their Sarasota store for me. LESSON LEARNED, call ahead to make sure the item is in stock and have them set it aside for you.If this was helpful please give it a “thumbs up”!

Even though their pricing model has been severely impacted by Trumps punitive Chinese tariffs, you still find good service snd friendly, knowledgeable staff. I still find a couple of good buys every visit. So, when tool, or gizmo shopping i stop at Harbor Freight first.

Drove 40 minutes to find them closed due to “sanitizing”. Here is an idea, do that after hours. In the five minutes I was in the parking lot writing this, 22 people came to the door. Great way to support your customer base. Gave them one star because you can’t post with Zero stars.

Starting to raise prices a little bit, but then again your tool quality has significantly improved over the past few years so I understand.. still a great place to buy tools. Lines get a little long before another register opens up, they always seem to be a man short... Overall still deserving of my 1st stop when looking for a tool.

If I could give them zero stars I would. The products are fine. Nothing you couldnt get somewhere else. Ill never go back in that store. The cashier (fake blonde) staired and looked with a grumpy face the whole time then a sheriff started following us around. Might I add I was with my kids father who has stage 4 cancer. Hes building us canoes so we have a piece of him.

Tried to purchase a buffer asked the guy to please check the back he said no are you kidding me. I need it and he just stated that they got a shipment early this morning and you cant go check the back for me wow

Cheap products and extremely unhelpfuldisingenuous--doesnt even rate as --customer service! I had driven an hour to buy an advertised tile cutter, which they did not have in stock. I obtained a raincheck and a few weeks later drove out again to pick up the tool, which they still did not have in stock. So finally months later I stopped by and found my raincheck. The store would not honor it since they claimed it had expired. I explained that this was the third time that I had been out and once the manager understood he would extend the raincheck. I explained to the manager, Bubba, politely but he didnt seem to care about the trouble I had been to. In fact, rather than accommodate me and keep a customer for life, he chose to try switch and bait. BUYER BEWARE, now to get the new advertised sale price you have to buy a membership like a wholesale store, which costs another $30. So not only did I NOT get the raincheck honored but in order to buy the tool at the new higher advertised price, I would have to pay another $30. Is this tale of woe enough to put you off this business for life?...it was me! Happily, I went to Home Depot and bought a brand name Ryobi Tile cutter and literally half the price of Harbor Freight. PS: the Ryobi from the major Home store came with a diamond blade. The HF cutter came with none. I have attached a photo of Bubba. If you want ignorant, rude and dishonest service please be sure to look him up!

Had what I needed. While checking out the keypad restarted so it took a minute but we got through it and the cashier remained calm at all times, very proud of her and no, I dont know her.

I was denied a return of an unopened item with a receipt within 90 days of purchase because I didnt provide a phone number on the day of purchase. Nowhere was this specific policy posted when I asked to be shown their return policy. Had to go through corporate to get it resolved. Corporate thought the phone number requirement was ridiculous.I highly recommend reconsidering purchasing anything you may need to return as this store doesnt follow corporate return policy nor their own posted return policy.

Be careful, the two year warranty is not a full two year replacement warranty. After the 90 day warranty then the replacement warranty is up to two years for one time replacement warranty. Not for up to two years. Don’t let this be missed leading, as it was not explained to me properly. But they definitely want to sell you an extra two year replacement warranty for $49.95That I paid for in January 2019

Kevin, the Manager was awesome and so helpful. He gave me a lot of information on generators. He explained the difference between the model 9000 and the 8750. Great suggestions for a licenced electrician install a county permitted plug in to your house electrical panel to run various electrical devices. Good customer service.

Busy place but love the store always have great deals.

Extremely friendly very helpful made my shopping extremely easy. I wish more stores were like this. I went to the Harbor Freight in Akron it had the same type of environment. I am not a tool person. However, the company should recognized for outstanding performance. So many times I have gone into retail stores where the staff is either absent or busy chatting with coworkers on their own agenda not here excellent job. You should give training to Sams club in Bradenton for they are just the opposite.

Good prices for the tools I need

Harbor freight is one of my favorite places to go I know that might seem weird because Im a female but Im like a kid walking into a candy store. I do a lot of woodworkingand I do it to make money. The only thing I suggest as when you buy power tools and have the option to get the protection plan get it do not pass up on the protection plan because harbor freights tools do not last that long you will need to replace them the protection plan will allow you to do so. Do not pass up the protection plan.

Lots of good stuff at good prices; just be ready to help yourself.

The store is very clean & most of the employees are fantastic to work with, so its sad that I have to leave a 2 star review.I visited the store to exchange a floor jack that was leaking hydraulic fluid. The cashier completing the exchange was Angie. She had an attitude from the moment I arrived, to the moment I left. The following day, I had brought the exchanged floor jack in, as it wouldnt raise a vehicle. The employees took a look at it and confirmed it was defective.I chose to get in Marias line this time, as it was shorter and she seemed very friendly. Maria was FANTASTIC. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed to go out of her way to be sure customers issues are resolved.While in Marias line, Angie (the cashier from the day before) walked by and made some pretty disgusting statements to Maria, who just ignored her. She just returned that yesterday. She obviously doesnt know what shes doing... Maria completed my transaction and thanked me before leaving. She was great.It was ridiculous and very childish. I might have been there the day before and returned a floor jack, but isnt that why you purchase a warranty on items? Shouldnt you be providing customer service as opposed to disgusting statements?I then spoke with Ben, the Supervisor, who was also great. He not only apologized but then informed me that he had received complaints about Angie before but its out of his hands. So he provided me with the phone number to corporate and asked me to reach out to them directly, which Im in the process of doing.Like I mentioned above, this particular store is normally fantastic. Ive never had any problems until recently. If you choose to shop there, stay away from Angie. Dont waste your time with her, it will only reward you with an unpleasant experience.
