One in a set of four mirror panels broke. Manatee Mirror and Glass did a great job matching the mirror and creating a perfect match for the set. When we had a little difficulty hanging the mirror due to a hardware issue (old hardware used with the new panel), they were very responsive and helped us problem solve. When I discovered a decorative mirror had fallen onto the floor while I was out of town, I did a quick Google search and found Manatee Glass and Mirror. Its a local mom-and-pop family business and when I walked in with my broken mirror problem, I was delighted they would fix it while I waited! I sat in a comfy chair and had a friendly chat with owner Susan Williams during the short 15 minute wait. The repair was a complicated octagon shaped cut. I was extremely happy not to make a return trip to pick it back up. I received excellent service, a warm,welcome by friendly folks, and a fair charge for this perfect repair!!Shop local!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Owner was a nice guy during his measuring visit. After that there was no communication from him when we had an issue with a panel that was worpped. Today the panel was replaced and it appeared that it also was bad. The installer, his son was curt and not at all apologetic. I called the office to talk to the owner and he was busy. I ask to have him call me instead the lady I talked to earlier called and was also curt and rude. During our conversation she said she had another call and hung up on me. VERY BAD BAD SERVICE FROM A FAMILY OWNED COMPANY. I paid in full before the replacement panel came. That shows my trust in what I thought was a good company. BOY WAS I FOULED. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND OR USE THIS FAMILY EVER!!

Had sliding shower glass doors installed by Manatee Glass and Mirror last week. From the initial quote to install I was beyond impressed. Top quality customer service, crew, product and install. I cant say enough about this company and the family that run it. When they make an appointment to do the estimate the owner shows up and does a great job measuring. When its time for the installation, the son and crew shows up on time, and does a great job.I wanted to keep the mirror in my master bath, they came out and cut the old mirror the way we wanted it, and it looks great.These wonderful professionals did the shower doors in both our baths, I totally recommend them, they are the best.

Heres my experience with Manatee Glass and Mirror.Four weeks ago I contacted them for a quote and installation date to replace a large bathroom mirror. The lady at the business gave me a quote and told me someone would return a call that afternoon. After about a week past I called again and spoke with a gentleman. He had no record of my previous call but took all the information and scheduled an installation date 10 days from my call. At noon today, the scheduled 10am scheduled installation date, nobody showed. When I called there was no record of any of my previous calls. The lady explained that they were very busy and their company was founded on great customer service and referral business. As the founder of a large company that I sold to Wall Street Im intimately familiar with the importance of great customer service so any claims made by Manatee Glass and Mirror fall far short of what I consider great customer service. Hopefully this post serves as a warning to others considering this company. Unless you know one of their employees and/or referred to them by a former customer who they recognize I would strongly suggest finding a reliable company rather than this totally disorganized company. How a customer is treated at the beginning of the order process should be a strong indicator of the quality of work and services they deliver. I eventually found a great company in Palmetto who visited and measured the mirror one day after my initial call. One week later they installed the custom cut mirror which fit perfectly into the self enclosed opening and their price was $100 less than Manatee Mirror and Glass quote.

In a matter of moments, she confirmed they could supply a dimensionally exact piece, for a reasonable price and would have it ready the next day! The father and son duo gave me a great price then went above and beyond to fit a piece of glass for my girlfriends jewelry box mirror. Franchises don’t care about their customers and their employees are just there for a paycheck. That is NOT the case here. Any time I need glass I’ll come here over any other place hands down.

We updated our shower and clawed Manatee Glass/Mirror to do the glass doors. Tom came to measure the shower then I asked about our 2nd bath with tub? We wanted glass doors to eliminate the shower curtain and Tom gave us the estimate. We thought about it and called him back within a hour to say to go ahead with the 2nd bath doors. The guy cam to install them and were very good. We are Very Pleased with the doors and the look is great! Thank You

Although they were extremely busy, they made it a priority and cut the mirror for me while I waited. Worst experience ever. Took two pieces of coffee table glass to have holes drilled for lamp cord. THEY broke the glass and had to order replacement glass. The angry woman that works there (dyed black hair) told me they were doing me a favor for not charging me for the glass THEY broke. Had they known what they were doing, they should have been able to tell it was tempered glass and should not have been drilled in the first place. Went to pick up replacements and got a dirty look right away. She brought the glass and, sarcastically, asked if I was still wanting to pay the original, agreed upon, amount of $40 and then told me what a gift it was for them to not charge me for replacement glass. Clearly, a very bitter and angry woman. She’s in the wrong business of customer service. Lord help whoever lives with her. Very angry, hateful woman. Will do everything I can to post on all venues around this area to not use this unprofessional glass company. Terrible place.

We needed a glass top for a desk with a circle cut out for a computer desk cord cable hole. It was a perfect fit! The folks there are very friendly and service was completed within a few days.

Outstanding customer service! Manatee Glass and Mirror installed glass shower doors about a year ago when we remodled our master bath. About a month ago, one of the doors began to catch (not slide open easily). it seems to get worse each week. We contacted Manatee Glass and Mirror who promptly responded and made some adjestments (no-charge). The door began to stick again within a few days so we call again. They came back out and replaced the the rollers (again no-charge). They now work like new again and I can honestly say that Manatee Glass and Mirror does great work but their customer service is as good as it gets!
