A profound experience. Andrew guided my wife and I on a tour we will never forget. I’ve struggled with balance and paddle boarding and he quickly and effortlessly taught me technique and how to do it without any issues on a 1.5 hour excursion. He was the ideal guide. Kept the conversation going appropriately but never rambling. Very knowledgeable about the area, the route, the plant life, animal life, history, etc - all while being really laid back. We’ll be back and would recommend.

Fantastic guides! We didn’t catch their names, but our two young guides (men) were pleasant, passioned, and humorous. We weren’t sure what to expect, so it was an enjoyable two hours learning about the area and wildlife. The special fun was the two or three birds that stayed with our group because we were stirring up pin fish for them. Watching them swallow them whole was entertaining for the children. We would definitely do it again.

We had a great time out on our Eco-tour! Andrew was awesome and very accommodating and responsive with getting us rescheduled due to possible storms in the area. George and Bob were awesome sidekicks and super active and friendly. The mangroves were so cool and full of life, in the trees and in the water. Would definitely recommend these guys and hope to visit again!

Our group of four booked the mangrove excursion with AMI Paddleboard. What I loved about this excursion was that my son could paddleboard while my husband, sister and I could kayak. Everyone was happy. The wildlife we saw, the beautiful mangrove and the interesting insight and information Andrew shared with us made for an enjoyable and memorable day. We will definitely book with AMI Paddleboard again.

Such a great experience! Andrew was very helpful and responsive when setting up our tour. We had 12 people in our group and 3 were small children. They did a great job making us feel comfortable and leading us on the tour and were super patient with our slow moving crew. The kayaks were easy to use, the mangroves were beautiful and everyone loved it! We saw dolphin, birds catching fish and tiny crabs on the trees. It was such a perfect start to our vacation. Highly recommend!

We went on the Eco Tour today with a group of 9. Some used paddle boards, some kayaks, and ages ranged from 11 to adult. The guides were knowledgeable, patient, and just all around terrific guides! When one of our young paddle boarders was struggling to keep up, our guide paddled back to her with some tips, and she was a pro in no time! The tour itself was awesome - beautiful abd very tranquil! We even got to meet two cormorants - George and Bob - who joined us for the last leg of our trip! I highly recommend this tour while you’re on the island. You won’t be disappointed!

Andrew was a very good kayaking coach. Loved paddling among the cormorants and watching them catch fish. He guided us they the mangrove tunnels, easily. He warned us of high winds and offered us to come another day, but we decided to go with the wind. It was fine and we had no trouble. I think the tour was only about 90 minutes vs 2 hours. I’m guessing he thought it would take us longer to paddle against the wind. It was a very good time.

Family outing and had a really nice time. Both of our tour guides were fun and knowledgeable about the area and sea life. Highly recommend and would book again.

Highly recommend the mangrove tour while staying on AMI. Andrew was our guide and he was wonderful! Friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. You could feel his love for the island and the wildlife that occupy it. I wouldn’t recommend for someone who has never kayaked before, though. It’s a pretty lengthy trip and lots of paddling and maneuvering around trees, limbs, etc.

My husband, myself and our two daughters (ages 19 and 18) went on the Eco Tour June 29th and had a great time. Our guides were knowledgeable about the area, laid back and super nice. We saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed the kayak through the mangrove tunnels. Would do this tour again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!!

My son, daughter and I did the mangrove guided tour and had a great experience. Andrew was very patient with everyone in the group. We saw a fun trio of cormorants, crabs, jumping mullet and an osprey. I highly recommend!

My husband and I booked a kayak tour with Andrew for July 2. He explained everything step by step from entering the kayak, how to paddle, steer, and brake as this was our first time kayaking. He was a wonderful guide, pointing out all the wildlife we encountered and how to navigate the mangrove tunnels. He took pictures and posted on their Facebook page. He even told us about a park a few miles away where we could see manatees - which we did Andrew, so thank you so much. I highly recommend this company as everything was great and we had an amazing time.

The mangrove tour was exactly as described. The guide was very knowledgeable on the area and the importance of the mangrove system to the ecosystem. He was also very helpful and informative on paddle boarding and kayaking techniques. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to go through the mangroves on AMI.

We had a wonderful local guide who took us through the Mangroves and showed us a lot of wildlife. It’s a great trip for all ages. My young daughter, adult son, and 65 year old mom all enjoyed the trip. It was just long enough that we didn’t get too wore out, but had time to get a real feel for kayaking in the area. Well worth it and I would definitely go again!

Andrew was great. Told us fun facts. Showed us different birds and even saw dolphins! He was very patient with the less experienced people in our group.

Had a great time paddling with AMI Paddleboard and kayak. They were so patient with my 11 year old and his first time in a solo kayak- but still made it enjoyable for more experienced paddlers too. Great wildlife, beautiful scenery, and friendly guides- couldn’t ask for more!

This was a fun activity for my family of four. The location was easy to find with plenty of parking. We got right into the water, Andrew already had everything set up. We saw many animals including crabs, starfish, dolphins, and a racoon. We learned so much about the mangroves and their importance to the surrounding ecosystem. Andrew was an excellent host who provided a great experience and was very knowledgeable. We appreciated that he took photos of our group kayaking at no additional charge. We highly recommend taking this tour!

We had an amazing time! I was so nervous but was set at ease immediately and was even taught how to stand up on my paddle board! Very fun and enjoyable. The mangroves were beautiful. Highly recommend to anyone and all ages!

Andrew did a great job on our ECO tour! He texted us 24 hours ahead of time to reschedule because of a potential storm. When we did go, Andrew was already waiting for us on time with all the kayaks set up and ready to go. He was patient with the children on the tour and even turned back to help a young girl on her paddle board who was having a bit of trouble. Andrew was informative and answered all of our questions with ease. We didn’t see any Manatees or dolphins but it was still well worth the experience ! Thanks Andrew!

Our family had a great trip, we had two adults and two girls, ages 12 And 13 and booked tandem kayaker. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had to reschedule due to bad weather for our original tour but they were quickly able to coordinate a new date and time. We even got to see several dolphins swimming and feeding along the way.

My girlfriend and I tried paddle boarding for the first time on Anna Maria Island and we enjoyed a wonderful experience with Andrew. He taught us the basics and took us on a great tour of the mangrove waterway. The tour was delightful, and exceeded our expectations and we got great exercise. Andrew our guide pointed out live starfish along the way and introduced us to his friend - a Cormorant named George. Andrew was so knowledgeable about the bay and the island. He was so patient with us learning how to maneuver our kayak through sticky situations! We would highly recommend Andrew and he eco tour!

I wish I could give a 4.5 star!Pros:Owner/guides (Andrew is owner and Harrison was assisting with guide) were so kind and professional. Scheduling was easy and completing the legal paperwork was easy - all online. Finding the location and parking was convenient. Seemed like great equipment, esp since you have options between kayaks or paddleboards. Amazing getting out in the open water and then going thru the mangroves. Guides were good to tell us how to manage kayaks/paddles thru mangroves, etc. Scenery was beautiful. We saw some dolphins out in the distance. Private with no other tour groups which was nice. Our entire group was 8 customers.Cons:The tour was supposed to be for 2 hours and we were completely finished out of the water within 60mins easy. I would have liked to slowed down and enjoyed the scenery and have gone at a much slower pace. I felt rushed to stay with the group who kept moving at all times. We had a couple of people that stayed ahead so I am sure guides were trying to manage those that powered through and those that wanted to stop and take everything in (my family). And since I was always in the back trying to take it all in, I had a hard time hearing the guides for directions or information. They seemed really knowledgeable about the area and I would have liked to learn a little more from them. Again, not sure how they can manage everyone hearing if group is spread out.Overall:I would absolutely recommend this company! I would be a little more forward in asking to slow down and take pics and ask about environment, etc. Andrew (owner) seemed so knowledgeable that I would have like to have learned some more from him.
