Took our boat in today right after we attempted to take it out and it wouldnt go in gear. Randy took the lower unit off and had it fixed in under 10 minutes! Awesome fast service! Highly recommend Hix Marine to anyone needing a great Marine mechanic!

Randy and his crew at Hix Marine are the best you can find. I have known Randy for over 13 years and have taken him over 11 different boats. From replacing inboard engines to outboard repairs Randy has always been first class. I can not tell you how many phones calls he has taken to answer my many questions. If you want an honest guy to do your service work Randy Hix is your man.

Randy and Jason are two of the best boat mechanics I have met. Also fair and honest. Catch them while they are open. They have limited hours on weekends: open until noon on Saturday, closed Sunday. Weekdays I think they are open until 5 p;m.

Was very happy with Randys service, we all know how marine repair can be. Randy Hix was none of those, clean, prompt and friendly. No getting the run around, fixed and back in the water. The cost was reasonable and everything plus was back and working.

When you only have to take your boat in once a year for routine maintenance ...You know you have a good mechanic !!! . Randy is one of the few out there that takes pride in his work and wants you to be safe out on the waters .
