Upon picking up my photo order (which was supposed to be ready in 1 hr) apparently could not be found.With only one photo machine I had to wait for clerk to retrieve my photo as the original print could not be found.I have a 5 in this review as I wanted to complement and make known to the supervisor that a FINE young man, named Tim, tried his best to help me and apologized for the trouble. He wouldnt just stand there and let the others work. Then when I was looking for batteries, there he was again looking to be as helpful as can be in helping me find the correct battery. Tim is a tribute and an honor to see a boy his age to be doing such a fine and concerned effort in his job.

I needed several back years Rx support documentation for our friends at the IRS. Michaela was working the night I had again asked for assistance...it was 7:40 pm, the Pharmacy closes at 8:00 pm...she diligently started to work her magic on her Walgreens computer, and successfully finished at about8:20 pm which was well after the Pharmacy closing!She went the extra mile for me, which is what her Chief Pharmacist boss does as well...they share that trait between them...Sally as well, along with Bryan...a great team that Farik has built.

This was literally the worst experience with a pharmacy and it’s staff I have ever had. I’d write down the ridiculous events that occurred yesterday while attempting to get a prescription transferred and filled but I really don’t need that stress again. Suffice it to say, the tech staff didn’t know what they were doing, lacking knowledge as well as customer service skills. The pharmacist didn’t follow through which what she was supposed to be doing and I literally had to spend the day making calls to previous pharmacies,doctor’s office to either do her job or make sure she had finally done what she said she was going to do. An absolute mess. To top it off, when I finally gave up and had my prescriptions transferred to Publix, the Pharmacist at Publix laughed and said “I heard you broke Walgreens computers,” which clearly I have no access to. Very professional. Never have I experienced such an inept staff at a pharmacy.

Decent wait time for prescriptions. Ready when they are supposed to be. Many items are way over priced but the pharmacy is decent.

I’ve been going to this pharmacy for the past three years and over the past year or so they have gotten really awful. This is about the 4th or 5th time I’ve come in to pick up my prescription and they either forgot to order it or misplaced it (I don’t know how, but they have). Newer staff lately has no interest in making it right. I always used them because this location is convenient to my home. I’ll start using the Manatee location going forward. I will not use this pharmacy anymore.

Walgreens on 59th is a very special place!!I have never experience a pharmacy like this one!!Rafik the pharmacist goes way and beyond with his knowledge!! He takes his time to answer any questions you may have!! Yesterday I had my husband suddenly break things off with me with no warning. And today I had to move out of my apartment in a rush as he put a deadline on me to get out. Anyways I didnt change my Walgreens yet, and so I had a refill I needed to pick up before I left the city. So we drove the uHaul here to come get it. The pharmacy person Bryan remembered me and remembered I didnt have insurance and remembered my prescription is $700. In his own time since I refilled my prescription and saw it in the computer he said he remembered my last name and found some amazing discounts for me on the internet and showed me he got the price as low as he was able to. Him doing that when I was having the worst day of my life just made me feel so much better. It was like a good omen. Bryan I cannot begin to thank you for your kindness in this time of my desperate need. You are an extremely kind person and I hope you are granted with something amazing back. Hoping this message reaches your superiors as you deserve so much recognition. I wish I could stay with this pharmacy so badly. Thank you all so much for everything.

They used to have better and friendly staff months ago, they need a lot more training in customer service there is one lady in specific in her 65+ maybe short hair she never has a name tag It doesn’t matter the shift she works she will always have a bad attitude, won’t even say hi or ask if you find every okay. She is not friendly at all makes me feel like I did something wrong I always try to be extra friendly as a hint but she never gets it. I never treated a customer like that not even when I was 16 years old and had no experience with customers they need to be better at hiring people and training them.

Absolutely amazing staff and pharmacists. They are super friendly and their service is 5 stars. Both pharmacists (Raven and Rafik)are absolutely amazing and are always willing to help make sure medications are filled on time. They are all very welcoming and pharmacy environment is cheerful which makes it comfortable to talk to staff and pharmacists.

Rafik was helpful in helping me find the APP to get my refills. I had no idea this APP exisited, and it saved me a great amount of money. This location the Pharmacy staff is always helpful and courteous.

I have been going here for 4 years and I have always been satisfied with their service until now. I was essentially accused of being a drug addict because my doctor switched my medication, and was very disrespectfully told they would not fill the new medication if I didnt give them the old medication. Escaping a culture of drug abuse, and mental health issues was bad enough, but to be accused of drug seeking is much worst.

Great customer service, friendly staff with cheerful attitude. Went to get my medicine and pharmacist Raven was very welcoming and answered all of my questions clearly. Definitely doing business here!

WALGREENS on Cortez and 59th has been my pharmacy for over 10 years! It is the ONLY pharmacy that I go to for ALL of my needs but especially my prescriptions! Rafik is the BEST pharmacist that I have ever met and worked with! He has always been there for me. I had a special request for a certain medication and he went above and beyond to find it and get it for me! I was BEYOND AMAZED!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean WOW, what other pharmacist would ever do something like that! They care about YOU and YOUR well-being/health and it truly shows! They want to help YOU save money and to have what you specifically want and need!I cant tell you how many times Ive needed special help with a medication to get it covered with my insurance or if there was a special promo offered - they always work with you no matter what! This pharmacist only fills prescriptions that he agrees with, he refused to fill my prescription that was sent in the late afternoon. I had just gotten out of surgery. The result was a night of pain and suffering caused by a self-righteous pharmacist who thinks he knows better than a doctor.

The only reason Im reviewing this so low, is because of the current manager of the store, and the pharmacy manager.We are in the middle of a pandemic, where Manatee county is a current hotspot. The store manager always has her mask pulled down below her nose, barely covering her mouth. The pharmacy manager was wearing his like a chinstrap.I expect better from the people that are there to help us. Ive included a picture of the pharmacy manager.

Best customer service Ive had from a Walgreens pharmacy! Ordered my prescription to the wrong location and within minutes the pharmacist corrected it and had it filled for me so that I wouldnt have to drive further to the other location. Not to mention, they were so kind about the whole thing!

Update your store hours.It says your open at 7am.I drive here and the sign on the door says 8am.Thank you for wasting my time and gas.

The pharmacy like no other. No other Walgreens would be comparable to this pharmacy. The care they provide is exceptional. Rafik the pharmacy manager taking good care of his business and his clients.I stood one time watching him how he direct his team to serve his clients, you can tell that he cares. I’m thankful for seeing someone really caring about me, my wife and our community.

I had an expectional service today at this particular Walgreens at 59th in Bradenton.I have lost my luggage while traveling including my meds. I was panicking knowing that I’ll be ending in the hospital while COVID is still around. I walked in and got to talk Mr. Rafik.I can say that the way how he approached me was healing and wry satisfying. He assured me that I’ll be walking out with all my lost meds without even paying. Shortly, he came back with a 3 month supply of all my medicine.Mr. Rafik is a true hero, standing in helping, listening and provide outmost care to me and other for sure.Now, I learned once I go back home I’ll be getting my meds from Walgreens.Thank you Mr. Rafik!

I had to make a quick stop here before going to the beach, I was looking for some drinks and sunscreen. I couldnt find the sunscreen and Alan a manager there helped me out with finding the things I needed, All the Walgreens I go to in this area seem to be very helpful and friendly. THANK YOU ALAN

Definitely one of the better Walgreens stores that Ive ever had to go to.

I stopped in, after walking my dog, to purchase a pack of cigarettes. All I had on me was my debit card. I am 55 years old. The older woman behind the counter refused to sell me a pack of Marlboro Menthol because I didnt have my ID or Drivers License on me. My license was in my purse, in my car, parked in Walgreens parking lot. Ridiculous and irritating rules just lost a sale and a customer!

Pharmacy’s staff are all professional and caring and go beyond to help with any needs we have.This morning the mgr. Rafik Botros helped me with a med I needed ( very expensive)that my Insurance would not cover. He was able to get me a 90 day supply for the cost of 30 days. The last few times I have been the staff have been really rude. Tonight the man was not helpful and just plain rude. I would not have been so upset but the manager was behind me and did nothing, said nothing and didnt offer to help. Customer service is still a thing and I think they need a lot of work in this area. Also many of the shelves were empty.

This is the best pharmacy in Bradenton period. The service is fabulous, clean and organized, my medication always available on time, courteous people, nice and caring. This is not like 26 st or manatee ave. if you have ever a problem any where go speak to the nice pharmacy manager Rafik and he will get you in and out in no time. Dont waste your time spinning in tow finding the great service. They deserve applause, they working very hard to make me and my family happy.

I continue to use the Walgreens on Cortez Road and 59th Street because of the great service and friendly staff at that store and especially within the pharmacy department. When you have a drug or insurance question or issue, just talk with the manager Rafik Botros and he will solve your problem and also give you an understandable explanation as well. Rafik is an expert in fixing things that go array in todays complicated drug and insurance world. Hence I have comfort doing business at his store.

My prescription was sent in last week Monday and i was immediately contacted stating that it would be a couple days till they had it in there store, i said thats fine. I have been contacted numerous times telling me it was ready for pickup and emails non stop asking me to pick it up. So i went to the pharmacy today and still no medicine and pharmacist claims it was never ordered. And also tells me he no longer has record of when the prescription was turned in. I am furious as i need the medicine to live. I have now been without my medicine for 8 days. I am absolutely furious about how irresponsible a multi billion dollar company is being ran. I will never ever use them again for any reason whatsoever. I am debating on contacting my attorney to file a lawsuit. I also asked the pharmacists about who i could contact and they said try 800walgreens.....called and was on hold 9.5 minutes waiting. Still got no where at all. DO NOT USE THIS WALGREENS!!! TRY CVS!!!

Pharmacy manager refused to fill my script for pain meds. I had a swollen jaw from a bad tooth in obvious pain and was treated like a pill junkie. Ill go to CVS from now on.
