Buy most of my things here but after this past experience wont be coming back. I purchased a terra fuel transfer pump for father day from the store in person. Upon first use it had a cut in hose so i brought it back for a replacement and they told me they dont carry the item anymore so I asked for credit to use on my next purchase in store. They refused and told me I need the original receipt (which I no longed have). But I pulled up my credit card statement to show them the amount and purchase from their store and they still refused. I told them to pull it up in their system and they say they dont keep that information... which I think is a lie to keep me from returning it.

I bought a new boat (my first one) and stopped at the store to get help with initial accessory purchase. I can’t thank Danny enough for his help. He walked the store with me and went down my list. He made suggestions and saved me money by talking to me about needs vs wants. Everything I bought we talked about dimensions, length and what was best for MY boat and setup. He then came out with me and helped me get my boat straight. What a great experience. Thank you Danny for taking a very stressful experience and making it easy. I forgot the cashiers name but she was awesome as well. 100% a GREAT EXPERIENCE! Kuddos to West Marine.

Good selection. Their rod and reel counter support person was amazing and a wealth of information. He truly knows the area and all about rod/reel/lure combos.

Ask for Bob. He offers great customer service. He found out what we needed, got the various parts together and showed us how to put it all together... Even told us what tools we would need. All this with a smile and friendly attitude! It is rare to get customer service like this nowadays.

Drove 30 miles out of my way because I didn’t want to wait for shipping and my local store was out of stock. Was greeted. Helped me find what I wanted. Got me in and out in record time.

Had to buy stuff and had to have someone else pay over the phone. And the staff was super helpful and willing to do whatever it took to make sure we left with everything we needed!

It was very hard to find help in this store. The workers just seem to be collecting hours and that’s about it. And when you do talk to someone in here the attitude on them is one of that the customer is stupid. I really don’t know how this location stays open they should have kept the store open on Anna Maria island.

This is the only place locally that you can get soft copper multistrand wire in 2awg, 3awg, 4awg, 6awg, 8awg, and 10awg. Its a little more per foot than the other online suppliers however if you need it now this place has it. They where out of number 4 the day I went. No worries 2 worked

Great shop and really dangerous befor Christmas.I found what I wanted and the staff is pro, not only dealers. They know what I needed and I got help.Not really a cheap place but you can buy online from China, and after a few weeks you can get what you want.. or not...

I had an unusual return recently and even though I wasnt sure west marine would honor the vendors warranty they did and returned the product for me. I have allways had good experiences with them here at this location. Although I have allways felt there prices where a little higher then I would expect to pay for a similar products elsewhere.

New fishermen. Stopped for a rod and some equipment. Terry was awesome and so helpful and informative. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

Awesome Marine supply store. If you cant find it here youll have a hard time finding it anywhere. Prices are competitive (they have a website) and occasionally run some great sales.The staff is friendly and knowledgeable which makes shopping almost enjoyable.

This store charges $20 more for 3M finesse I I glaze then Amazon same day delivery. When I pointed this out they were very rude and unprofessional. They lost all of my future business.

Went in to store for marine electronics.Asked male employee and cashier at front register both without mask to please put one on. Erin the cashier wore her mask as a fashion accessory below her chin. Large employee much younger than me, said he just came in to work and didnt need a mask on yet. WEST MARINE Signs on their doors say everyone needs masks AND to maintain 6 spacing. He was so loud to me I felt threatened and he continued to stare at me during my visit. He and everyone else except one nice employee refused to wait on me. Erin refused to raise her mask at all even when I was checking out. Clearly no one accountable in this store. Avoid this COVID incubator with non conforming aggressive representatives.

This location isnt the biggest or fanciest West Marine Ive been in, but it has by far the best service. The employees are always super helpful and friendly. I just went in there and within 10 seconds an employee asked me what I needed, and the guys there found me exactly what I wanted and had me at the cash register with everything I came for in under two minutes. Great experience!

Always has a great selection of things I want and need. Sometimes I get a little turned off when somehow price comes up with sales people and their canned response is we are a convenience store. But still enjoy going to west marine

I stopped in West Marine to pick up a few items I needed for my weekly Wade fishing trip that allows me to explore local fishing spots. I was only expecting to pick up some hooks and ball swicels. I was glad to find out they carried such a veriety of manufacturers of high quality fishing equipment as well as very helpful staff.
