Trevor assisted me in a 90 minute visit that included an explanation of the 3-D Scanners images he took of my feet. With them, he was able to see and discuss the problematic areas of my feet. He expertly translated that information into suggestions for a new liner that would mold to those areas.Of course I wanted and got a better fit for my relatively new boot shells, but Wow, I didnt realize there would be an added bonus. At long last, I have ski boots that are easy to get on and off! No more wincing as I used to wrench my feet out of those puppies! Best boot fit I have ever had. My feet were scanned to determine the correct boot fit that I needed. The owner even used a flash light to determine the amount of space my toes and heel needed in the boot as well as asked me my skiing stance to fit me with the boot that fit my experience level. These guys are hands down, the best in town for boot fitting and ski service. They are reliable and always do good work. They are the only shop in Bozeman I trust with my skis. They took the time to ask pointed questions about my style of skiing and what I wanted the boot to do prior to even offering any options of boots. Their expertise combined with the state of the art equipment allowed me to leave with the best fitting pair of boots Ill probably ever own. Would 10/10 recommend them to anyone. Had a great experience here. Stopped in for new Intuition liners to deal with awkward foot shape, especially in the toe box. We decided to go with new boots, and was not oversold in that endeavor. They said they could make the old boots work with some work. The 3D scanning process and translation of that into the work that was done on my feet was very smooth. I also had my skis tuned and waxed while I was getting the boot work done, and adjustments made to my bindings at the completion of the boot fitting. The digitally controlled pneumatic DIN verification machine was a pleasure to watch in action.Their ski tuning program for the season is also a great deal and going to work out greatly for my wife and myself.

Great experience getting my existing tele boots fitted last week. I skied on them for a couple of years and they became very tight in the toe box. Nick was very knowledgeable and picked up immediately on my issues with my feet. The foot scan helped identify what we were working with. I ended up getting the custom foot beds which helped with the fit. I skied 2 days on them after being fitted and was significantly more comfortable. I thought I had the wrong size boot but not so.

I had a free boot consultation with the owner, Nick. The consultation was all I couldve asked for, with the full foot scan that he reviewed and explained to me, and he told me what boots would fit my feet the best without forcing their shops boots on me. Unfortunately none of the staff were wearing masks, but with the sign out front saying as much I cant really put it against them too much.

Their new technology in bootfitting exceeded my expectations. I have always experienced pinched feet and cold toes from poor blood flow. Their projection of my feet showed off-the-chart volume and bowed legs (no surprise). So from their vast choices in shells and inserts he built a boot for me - including pushing out potential hotspots. So comfortabie! But the bonus was that now my skies now lie flat and turn properly/easier. My friend commented on my improved balance. Worth the money if you are skiing at all.

Best Ski Shop in Bozeman!!Its not very often you find mom & pop shops with the owners working directly with customers but, you will find just that here!! After getting sized with the 3D scanner (FREE) I found out that I was actually in the wrong size all along. This place has top of the line skis & boots to choose from & most importantly, their customer service is like none other. Also, their kid room is amazing if you have littles in tow! Will be back!!

This was my second pair of weird lightweight specialty ski boots that I bought, that kinda didnt really fit my foot shape, and Nick made them perfect in like, an hour. This place really is amazing. For a few bucks your ski boots turn from foot-torture-chambers into comfortable-high-performance-clouds. I brought in a pair of boots I previously purchased that cut off circulation and made me want to cry when I put them on. Walked out with feeling excited to have comfortable boots that will actually give me good ski control. I also had them install my foot warmers so now I will have comfortable and WARM well functioning boots. Mike, my boot tech, took his time and was meticulous in getting everything just right.

Im sure their ski tunes and boot fitting are fine, albeit pricy. However, thats not what this review is about. Why does this place have a sign in front saying they dont enforce the mask mandate and none of the employees wear masks either? When we walked in, no mask in sight. We are in the middle of a pandemic with a state issued mask mandate. Big Sky and Bridger BOTH require masks to ski. Every other ski shop in town requires masks. What the owner of this shop is saying is, I dont care about your health, I dont care about the bozeman outdoor community, and that I am better than you and dont have to follow the rules. Its insulting, its dangerous, and it is not in line with the rest of the outdoor community in Bozeman. We are in this together, and this business made a choice to separate themselves from everyone else.We all have friends and family that work in town that are required to wear masks all day and deal with customers who complain about masks so we can get through this disaster. This shop decided they are too good for that. They decided to be part of the problem and put everyone at risk. Their customers are going to be next to you in the lift line after all. Dont support this business. They dont care about you or Bozeman.

No one in the shop was wearing a mask. They have a sign out front basically saying that they don’t care about our community. As others have said, we are in this together. Just took my daughter to MT Ski Tuning and Boot Fitting to get her liners custom fit as we purchased boots from the ski swap hoping they would work for her. We knew the boot shell fit perfectly but the liners were not right for her feet. Before we got there she was in tears about how tight her boots were on her ankles and toes. We worked with Nicholas, one of the owners, who was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind with my daughter. They have state of the art equipment to map your feet so your boots will fit perfectly! (I didn’t even get into the whole ski tuning experience — saving that for next time!! ) The whole process was so positive and my daughter left wanting to wear her boots home!! What a win! Having gone to many shops in Bozeman to try on alpine boots in the quest for the perfect pair, I can say Montana Sky Tuning and Boot Fitting is my favorite by far!! Ski shops have a tendency to make me cringe, but no weird bro vibe here, just good listening and fitting me with the most comfortable pair of alpine boots Ive ever had in 30+ years of wearing ski boots. While getting my boots fitted, I watched them put the most attention to a ski tune that Ive ever seen in a ski shop, so I will definitely be bringing my skis here for their next tune too! Nick and the crew made skiing enjoyable for me again. Took my boots from being almost unbearable to being downright pleasant and comfortable. It’s a rad shop, the employees are all super knowledgeable and made were willing to work with me until the boots were perfect.

These guys are awesome! I have suffered for years with wide feet that never felt comfortable in ski boots. Melinda made my once painful ski boots feel like a snug cloud around my feet! My biggest regret is that I didn’t do this sooner! Thanks Melinda!

I never really thought I had foot problems (I was told that I really don’t) but I figured I deserved a little extra WOW I should have done this before although the technology was probably not as good but boy what a difference and the people there are very helpful they do not push you into buying “up” they will take it as far as you want and need not everyone can or even wants to drive a Ferrari some of us like high performance trucks They can accurately advise you according to YOUR needs I would highly recommend them you better get on it 2 of my friends showed up while I was being fitted

Absolutely amazing experience fitting new boots. I walked into the store feeling frustrated by years of boot troubles and walked out totally ecstatic about my new fit! They worked with me for over TWO HOURS getting exactly the right fit/molding liners/insoles and they didn’t charge a dime for the appointment (just for the boots). I also found out about their killer deals on ski tuning season packages. I would HIGHLY recommend this store to anyone who is serious about finding the right boot fit or is picky about their boots. Thrilled to have this place in Bozeman and hope that they stay!!!!

They block off 90 minutes where one boot fitter is entirely yours. They have people that have been working with boots and skis for 25 years. To sum up, incredible service and expertise. Definitely bring your boots and skis here.

Had “minor” issues with my boots. Yeah, I have flat feet, large bunions, different length legs...blah, blah, blah. But, heck, I’ve had these issues my whole life. So, I told Melinda “minor issues. She handed me a chocolate and set to work on my foot beds and boots...As the woman being served ahead of me exclaimed, “black magic!” With Melinda’s care and attention I suddenly feel like I’m actually balanced in my boots for the first time in my life.Thank you Melinda!.

The employees here are super knowledgable and their equipment is amazing. you will not be disappointed when you get your ski boots back on your feet. i will definitely be returning to get my skis worked on as well!
