Mavens made us two sub sandwiches and a Picnic Pac for our trip to Yellowstone. What a wonderful lunch we had under the pine trees!There was so much food we had the second sandwich and the left over cheese this evening.We highly recommend Mavens Market!

Used to go here all the time but it has recently gone downhill. I just spent $8 on the carbanara breakfast sandwich and it was the smallest sandwich I’ve ever gotten anywhere. There was an inch sized piece of pancetta on one half, and barely more on the other half of the sandwich. Very disappointed. The sandwich was less than an inch thick. If I could return it, I would. Let alone not getting anything on the side of this $8 “sandwich” including no napkins in the bag. Can barely believe they call this a sandwich. Thanks Mavens.

Food was wonderful, just was seriously so disappointed I paid 4.25 for tomato bisque soup and didn’t receive any. I was seriously looking forward to dipping my sandwich in it, as that is part of the experience for me. Also received wrong cookie, which I understand if you are out of stuff, but please change it on your ordering. Greatly disappointing. But seriously the food was very delicious besides that.

Placed an order for pick-up that somebody accidentally stole - even with such a limited staff Maven’s went out of their way to get us fresh food in under 5 minutes and tossed us some free cookies for something that was totally out of their control! Delicious food as always, thank you so much!

I feel like Im in Bern, Switzerland all over again. The gelato is out of this world! And, their cheese & chocolates are to die for! Now if they only made döners (love!) My all time favorite is their little picnic cheese boxes for 2.

Tomato gouda bisque is wonderful. If you have nothing else have this soup.sooooooo good. For sandwich Ive only had grilled ham and cheese, yes it was good, but a might greasy. Good food and people. Check it out you wont be dissappointed.

The coffee is really good here. I recommend the Cubano. Their gelato is also so good omg lol I got the pistachio flavor. Their little market spot is also adorable ^-^I really recommend coming here ✌

Get in there during the summer for the gelato!!! The espresso chocolate chip is amazing and the salted caramel is rich and delicious! If you are feeling adventurous, combine the two with espresso for a legit affogato!!!

Excuse the mess and half eaten food, but I couldnt wait to dig in! I ordered delivery and everything was still nice and hot. I had the ham and cheese panini and dipped it in the tomato gouda bisque, so delicious! I ordered the frozen lemonade which is so perfect for a hot day and then I also got an iced mocha with almond milk and a bit of almond flavoring which I think helps cut the super rich chocolate flavor, its just my favorite! To finish it all off I ordered some of their macarons and OMG they were all so so good! I got the birthday cake, pistachio, blueberry lavender and the salted caramel. All of them were the perfect texture, light as a cloud with the most decadent center fillings! Please please please support this amazing local shop! Aside from all that jazz they also have a huge selection of delicious meats and cheeses as well as infused olive oils and vinegar. Seriously check this place out!

4.5 starsThe selection of cheese, wine, charcuterie, and other fancy people foods is excellent on the market side, if a bit overpriced (which is expected at a place like this). Its usually worth it though - I have no problem treating myself to really good cheese and some flavored olive oil for a few extra bucks. My only gripe is that they put all your cheese in separate PET plastic containers. Its incredibly wasteful and hopefully Im representative enough of their clientele so that they shift towards a more sustainable option. I always request they wrap my cheese in butcher paper (which itself is lined with plastic, but small steps I suppose). They usually seem a little flustered at the request, but ideally it would just be standard practice will plastic tubs only used for large orders or as a last resort. The service is still excellent and its overall a dangerous place to go for holiday shopping or really any time youre feeling decadent yourself, or want a thoughtful food or food related gift for someone else.Update: brought in my own to go container for cheese and they were more than happy to weight it, put it in the container while I held it, and stick the sticker on top. Very happy 😊The cafe is also great, and I look forward to trying more of their menu. Service is excellent, and their red pepper gouda bisque is like a next level rich tomato soup that is maybe one of the best soups Ive ever had. $12 for a sandwich and soup with a side of chips seems like a great deal for a high quality lunch, and the seating area is quiet, clean, and well lit.

I am a traveling chef and I recieved the absolute best experience here from the staff. They are knowledgeable and friendly, always offering to let you try samples and offering recommendations. The selection of products here is truly world class. I highly recommend Mavens for anyone who enjoys charcuterie and fine foods!

I am so upset I have to leave a bad review because I LOVE their food so much but I ordered a soup and grilled cheese on uber eats and there was a letter from a sign in my soup. I did not find this out until eating half of it and I am very horrified right now. If you guys find out you’re missing an ‘R’ well, it’s in my garbage :(

Extremely excited to have a place I can eat that has delicious food. We walked in and my husband looked at the menu and said, “You can eat here!” I got a DF sandwich on GF bread! I enjoyed every bite. The bread was the best GF bread I have ever had. Looking forward to more trips in the future.

Great place to grab wine and charcuterie, artisan snacks and chocolates, or just unique gifts for a special someone. Plenty of ready to eat options as well plus amazing selection of ice cream! Staff are SO friendly and all taking precautions to stay clean and safe during a pandemic.

I love their food, hands down to everything in there! Unfortunately I was a little disappointed with their service! I had placed an order for a tray of macrons to be picked up at 9am that I had come in and paid for 5 days prior to the morning of the pickup. I get there at 9.30am, and they just hand me a bag of 4 boxes. I was already behind schedule and all the staff said was “nobody told us” they ran around blaming the lady who took the order and looked at me like I was in the wrong and didn’t even offer an apology. I honestly would have not cared for the mishap, since we all make mistakes, but the way I was treated that morning and with no apology but pointing fingers at other employees was not very kind. Hoping they will at least offer kinder words in the future, no matter who takes the order down. That being said, they did get the order corrected within 10mins, so I did appreciate them rushing to get it done. :)

The cheese selection here is amazing. The staff is great and allows you to try samples and help you find what youd like. All of the other gifts, pasta, chocolate, etc. in the store are great as well. Cant wait to try their wine!

04/16/20 My first time... delivery (DoorDash) was super fast!! Food was fresh and soup still hot!! Green Eggs and Ham breakfast sandwich was OUTSTANDING!! Red Pepper Soup was very good as was the Big Cure! My only wish...that you sell yourFABULOUS sourdough!!! Will order again!

I love this little market! Hands down one of my favorite places to shop in town, whether grabbing something to cook with at home or getting a quick but gourmet lunch from them! Not to mention they have the best London Fog in town, hands down!

Great food and drink.

DoorDash experience was awful. The picture of the order I placed had a grilled cheese and soup in the picture. Turns out you have to add the soups separately. Also came with less pickles than listed in the description and my latte never even made it. DoorDash says to call the restaurant and they say call DoorDash. It was my first experience and I’ll dash from somewhere else next time I’m home sick and perhaps give them a try in person. As of now I’m not happy or impressed.

Mavens Market is great and the location is central. My family and I went in for Gelato and it was outstanding! The service was phenomenal. The Maven let us try samples and was quite cordial. We will be going back to shop. Thank you for your local business and hospitality! Well done! 👍💯🤘

Called from out of town looking for a cheese board for my wife’s birthday. Lady I talked to was very helpful and very polite. Purchased the Date Cheese Board and my wife loved it. Would definitely recommend and will be purchasing from them again.

Meats and cheeses and meats and cheeses! Phenomenal selection of take away treats as well as delicious sandwiches. The staff is exceptionally friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. I 10/10 recommend swinging in for a tasty treat. Don’t forget to try the wine! You won’t be disappointed. A true gem in the heart of the city just off Main Street. While you’re at it, cool off with some of their Fresh Made Gelato. I had the Bee Sting Affogato (with hazelnut and honey). Seriously I could sing their praises all day. Go! Now!

They have a really big selection of amazing olive oils, and recipe ideas for them too! They have so many cheeses, its amazing. Absolutely fantastic. I am completely ignorant about charcuterie and fine cheese. The fellow who worked the meat and cheese area was super knowledgeable and friendly. I got to sample anything I wanted and the recommendations were spot on.If you want to try some really really high quality meats, cheeses, and oils, this is the place to go. I liked it so much I think ill go bi-weekly.

I really love this place, but don’t order through DoorDash! I ordered over $100 worth of food and they forgot a couple things. When I called about it, they had me reorder and pay for the things they forgot. The girl actually argued with me, saying it wasn’t their fault. I used to have cheese boards made with them and frequently visited. I will not be back.

Amazing selection of cheese. They can create party platters for you. Also sell refrigerated fresh pasta dinners, a number of different Olivelle olive oils, and have a lunch deli. Have not tried the deli yet but I intend to.

I absolutely love this place, it’s my second time coming here and I got the Caprese club (which is the best sandwich I’ve ever had I think) and an oat milk latte which was amazing!! The staff here is so awesome, I recommend this place to anyone!!

My mom purchased an assorted cheese and meat platter as well as some chocolates and gummies for a girls night we were having a week ago. The quality of the service she received on the basis of expertise, friendliness and timeliness were all above expectations. Finally and most importantly, the meats and cheeses were all amazing and assembled beautifully. So glad to have this place in town!

The only place Ive found in MT with real gelato! You can sample cheese and meats, theres a full coffee shop, and fantastic service. I heard there is also a wine bar coming soon! Great place to sit down and cool off when youre downtown.
