I cannot say enough great things about Starfish Scuba. Our scuba instructor was Ren who was the most laid back and patient instructor I’ve ever dealt with. My wife and I have hectic schedules and Ren worked with us to find times convenient for us. By the time we jumped in the ocean for the first time, we felt like we had been scuba diving diving for years. The boat captain and other dive instructor were also super friendly and helpful. They took us to the perfect spots over two reefs that were full of turtles and an abundance of colorful fish. We hit the lottery with Ren and Starfish Scuba and would recommend them to all.

John & Derek were great. They were funny, made sure to share all the safety requirements & made us aware of every step to ensure two excellent dives. I would highly recommend them!

Highly recommend this dive operation. They accommodated all our needs, especially given a very challenging dive to see the Goliath Groupers, the current very strong that day. They went over conditions/briefing in detail, helped with tanks/dive computers. Did it all in a friendly, professional and kind/understanding manner. Our second dive was on a stunning reef. Dereck was outstanding. Also not a cattle boat, very personalized.

Starfish Scuba is Awesome! Had two great dives with them this weekend, the Castor Wreck and then Table Top and Lynns Reef. Lots and lots to see including Goliath Grouper, Moray and Spotted Eels and even a Bull Shark in the distance.Captain Chris at the helm and Derek the Dive master made the whole experience fun and easy, in spite of slightly challenging conditions. HIGHLY recommend this dive boat. If youre looking for a dive boat, stop looking, youve found the best one! Derek and Chris are the best! I was unable to descend due to not having enough weight and Derek jumped in and helped me out. The reef dive was beautiful, we saw a shark, and a remora fish followed us to the surface trying to clean us.

Ive only just started diving, but I can tell quality when I see it. Diving with Starfish Scuba is a wonderful and comfortable experience. The skill level of the crew and dive instructors is unparalleled. Maggie and Adam run one heck of a business. I received my Diving Certification with them and am now working on my Advanced. What could have been a complete loss as my computer was malfunctioning, was a successful dive trip for both myself and my dive buddy. The staff dealt with one issue after another seamlessly. I’ve never been on a dive where there were so many individuals with issues to handle and they were all handled swiftly and professionally. I will dive with them again and again. Starfish was awesome. My party of 5 originally planned a 2 tank boat dive with Starfish, but the ocean conditions didn’t allow it. So we did a guided shore dive at Blue Heron Bridge.Everyone in my group is certified, but new. Our guide, Ren, was super helpful and knowledgeable. We saw a lot of sea life and had a great time. I will always used Starfish when I visit south Florida. Highly recommend.

I cannot fully express the gratitude I have for the crew of Starfish Scuba. It was a rocky start as many divers (new and experienced) were having difficulties i.e. malfunctioning gear, leaking hoses, missing O-rings, sea sickness etc. and the crew took each challenge in stride, not once showing irritation or disappointment. They all worked together on each challenge and Id say just about everyone was able to enjoy a great dive or two. Starfish Scuba will be my go to for diving locally from now on and I hope their next trip goes a little more smoothly! Great Job Starfish crew!

My buddy and I had a great trip. Captain and crew were the best. We were taken to the most awsome reef ive experienced in a very long time. Tumble Rock is worth seeing many times and next time will be a video trip and possibly some bug gathering.

Incredible crew, incredible dives, incredible times. Will plan a trip on the Starfish Scuba boat every time I come to visit South Florida.

The whole Starfish experience was excellent from start to finish. Its been an awful year and diving with Starfish is an antidote. The crew are kind, caring - and funny, too.The crew loaded our gear with lots of space in between divers. The tanks were topped off. The predive briefing was informative of what (and who) we would be seeing. The drops were on target. The crew lent a stabilizing hand on the way in and coming out. The fresh water washdown was warm and relaxing.The vis was perfect and the reef ledges were teeming with fish. The sponges and corals looked to be in excellent health and the large animals were plentiful.The crew unloaded our gear at the dock....and we had a choice: turn right to get a drink and listen to music at Two Georges or turn left and go home to eat the lobster we caught. There was no bad choice.Starfish Scuba is highly recommended for all types of divers- beginners to geezers. Enjoy!

Had a great day diving with Starfish yesterday. The crew was fantastic! Very helpful and friendly. The reefs were beautiful, teaming with a variety of colorful fish. Saw a bull shark and huge nurse shark, lots of morays. I would definitely recommend diving with Starfish.

The crew were very helpful and courteous, doing all they could to make our day great! We didn’t feel rushed in any way. They loaded all gear onto the boat, and took it all off afterwards, first time I’ve experienced that. Just an awesome time. We will use them again!

Great boat and great dive master. Dove with them on June 10, 2021. Only 8 divers on board so not crowded. They supplied me with steel 100 Nitrox tanks with great fills. Very short ride to the dive locations just off the beach. Dive master Mati gave great dive brief and assisted with everything a diver could need. Captain put us right on the reef ledge for a great reef dive. Saw nurse shark, lemon shark, huge loggerhead turtle, and all kinds of beautiful reef fish. When surfaced Captain had boat very close and picked us up quickly. Fresh water shower was nice. Highly recommend this great dive operation.

If you dont already know, the visibility off Boynton Beach is outstanding and usually better than Pompano, Ft. Lauderdale, and Miami. Also the reef has a nice sheer 10 to 15 + relief which is also better. Starfish dive boat is easy to dive with good deck space, hand railings and boarding ladders. We also like the roomy bench seats that can stow even large travel dive bags underneath them. The crew has a nice combination of being highly skilled but have an easy going vibe and they treated us like friends! We like them and think you will too!

The Starfish crew (Capt Adam and Capt Maggie) are both first rate. They are very personable, hard working, safety conscious or simply put-good at what they do. On this day of diving, Mother Nature reminded us of who is boss. The current was rather brisk and visibility was less than stellar(it sucked 20ft viz.)but thats the way the water flows.

Recently my second 2 tank dive with the crew at Starfish and both times they were great. Very knowledgeable and personable staff creates a very fun and relaxing dive experience. When out of town guest are visiting and want to dive, Starfish is a great choice.

My boyfriend and I had booked a few boat dives with Starfish, which unfortunately got cancelled due to weather last week.However, we ended up renting tanks from them to dive Blue Heron Bridge twice and the experience was seamless.Adam was very friendly and accommodating each time I called, patiently answering all of my questions and providing recommendations. Ren brought all the gear to the dive site, which made it extremely easy for us, and also gave us some tips on the dive.Overall, a really great dive group and very reasonable prices. Starfish Scuba was awesome! The dive sites were fantastic. Really easy dives with clear instructions and a great marine life. We saw two nurse sharks, 7-8 huge moray eels, a loggerhead turtle, and many school of fish. We loved Captain Chris and Ren. Both easy-going, funny, effective and clearly spoken. Captain Chris drives very gently, which is rarely found among captains. We initially chose Starfish out of so many shops in Palm Beach area because I liked Maggie(again, easy to communicate with, effective and responsive). It turned out the entire crew is awesome. Highly recommended.

The crew was very friendly and helpful, with good social distancing policies for the COVID-19 Pandemic. They gave helpful dive briefings, and adjusted to changing currents on the fly. We did a double dip on The Castor, and the current changed between dives, so they changed the down-line from the stern to the bow. They answered all of the questions we had about the wreck.We went back out with Starfish Scuba eight days later, we did two reef dives. They were drift dives. The dive boat promptly arrived to pick up the divers as soon as they surfaced. Again the crew was very friendly and helpful, with good social distancing policies for the COVID-19 Pandemic.

At a time when leaving the house is something you have to think long and hard about, Starfish made it easy. Knowing that the focus on health and social distancing was paramount to their business I was able to enjoy an amazing day with an amazing crew. We did a discovery dive with Ren and he was amazing. He made us feel relaxed and comfortable in the water. Ren was extremely patient, especially with my boyfriend already having experience diving, we accommodated both needs to ensure we both got the most from the dive. The best part was seeing a huge sleeping nurse shark!An additional story about our experience: we got a flat tire just five minutes away from the meeting spot, and Ren was so kind in offering us a ride there and back, AND even helped us try to put the spare on.Amazing guy, amazing tour, strongly recommend!

We loved diving with the Starfish Enterprise yesterday. Adam and Maggie were kind, competent, knowledgable and fun and having their dog, Kai, on the boat was a such a treat too! We had an awesome day of diving on the Castor wreck with great conditions and LOTS of Goliath Grouper! Well definitely be back to dive with Starfish Scuba again.

The crew was friendly and attentive. This was my first real dive, and I was nervous, but they made sure I felt at ease. The equipment I used was clean, and was good quality as well. I had an amazing first dive, and it definitely won’t be my last!

On a friends Recommendation I took my 14-year-old daughter and my 16-year-old daughter to get the open water certification with Starfish Scuba. I could not have been happier. Maggie and her crew were absolutely incredible. We had the opportunity to observe other instructors on our Beech Dive and at the pool, none of them came close to how well Maggie handled my daughters.
