Shopped there for the first time today and had the pleasure of meeting Christine who rang me up at the register. Christine is a big part of the reason that I will shop there again, she made me very welcome, was very knowledgeable and a joy to interact with. Great priced items, solid customer service, I’ll definitely be returning. Kudos to Christine!

I have always liked Big Lots. However I have not been there in a while. It appears they are more geared to furniture and larger items. I still find good values here. Just have to hunt a little longer.

Great prices and great deals on furniture,my wife and I were looking for a new dining table set and every place we went to did not have anything in stock. But that was not the case on this occasion we found what we wanted and they had it in stock .

Only 1 cashier and 1 manager in store.3 people walked out, leaving the merchandise.my mom was one. In addition and most important is poor access and egress. In a fire, you would have to squeeze by shoppers to get out. Dangerous situation!

Very clean store. Great customer service.

Called to confirm that they had the couch we wanted, when we showed up they told us they do not have it. We went in to buy a couch, a bed and a dresser. They did not even look in the system to check to see if they had the dresser was in stock, they just told us that they don’t have it. I understand why the managers name is Rudy, he was extremely rude and not helpful at all! We asked for help trying to find the items at a different store and he told us he couldn’t help us. The only furniture they had available for sale was all their broken/ defective furniture. Unless you want broken items, I would take your business else where! It makes no sense that they have a bunch of furniture on the floor they can not sell, but they’ll sell you the broken products!!

Was lil disappointed. Use to have great prices, now its like shopping Macys. I will drive to Ollies

You can find some good products at lower cost. Make sure you check the dates on the products.

Omg so upscaled. I couldnt believe it turned from a junk store to a very well laid out store. I dont believe they value their customers as i didmine. But i do believe they r following corporates rules to not sell floor sample. Employee was cold not apologetic so in my opinion they dont value a customer but i will return much more often. Kudos corp. U trained your people well.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Cashier sat on her phone while I was waiting to be checked out. The little manager guy is extremely unprofessional, kept staring at me like I was doing something wrong.

Cant find anything. I asked for help to find sun tan lotion. Worker told me it was in the back of the store. I walked every isle but never found it. So I decided to leave without my purchase. I am handicapped and walked all the way to the front of the store to leave. At the front of the store I asked another worker if they knew where the sun tan lotion was and was told that it was in the back of the store. I followed him to the back of the store, we walked down each isle again. So I crawled back to the front of the store and left. I went to CVS to buy some pain reliever. Guess what? The worker there took me to get Advil and sun tan lotion. He was very kind and knew where the inventory was. Your employees should learn customer satisfaction, where the inventory is and how much an item cost, because hardly anything has a price marked on it.

Was in there earlier today, and somehow when we got home we were missing a bag with our most important purchases in it. We called the store and they told us there were no bags left behind, we then went in with the receipt and they replaced our missing items for us with no issues. Fantastic customer service from Joe and their cashiers. Thank you for not making an already frustrating situation worse and taking care of your customers.

I LOVE big lots! I was so sad when the Lake worth location and the Okeechobee location closed ☹ Thank God we still have the Boynton Beach location 🙌 I went yesterday and I almost brought the whole store! So many great buys for great prices! A man working on the floor even seen me with my hands full of merchandise and he kindly offered me a shopping cart, so nice of him! That showed me that the employees truly care for their customers. The only issue I jqs was with the young woman Sheaina or something like that checked me out and kept making mistakes when I tried signing up for the rewards program to receive discounts it was getting me frustrated because I told her I didnt have time to do it but she assured me it wouldnt take long at all but because she kept spelling my email address wrong it was taking way longer than it should have. Other than that I had a great experience!

What a fabulous transformation!! Love it!! The employees have done a tremendous job with the moving and re-stocking of all the stock, nothing is where it used to be. They have worked very hard, and it shows, thank you for your great efforts!!

Was transferred to the furniture department and a young lady said we have a lot of different of the items youre looking for after specifically explaining what I was looking for. 🙄 she was getting rude. .. It was our conversation and she was telling someone else in the background what was going on. 🤔

Place is great to get good deals. But very crowded after Christmas.

Went looking for a long needed 2021 wall calendar. This location didnt have any, but the one on Linton & Military has a lot. At least, the beginning of last week they did😏

The manager on Duty ( Joe) was extremely helpful. I bought some big-boxed items and he held them for me for a couple days because my vehicle was already jam-packed.

The workers are just standing around. Some store associates are so negative talk under thier breath complaining to them selves, management needs to pay closer attention to their employees negative attitudes. The store is overstocked in every walk thru, making it impossible to get your cart thru, needs to hire better eorks and get rid of all its current employees, its fillefd with lazy nasty workers I will never shop the Congress Boynton Beach store again

Big Lots is a large store filled with a plethora of merchandise. They have a huge Christmas section. Unfortunately, there is absolutely nothing for Hanukkah. They have small but nice selection of furniture in the back of the store, a public bathroom oh, very nice towels and bathroom items. Very enjoyable shopping experience

An average chain store. Average in cleanliness. Sometimes they have great merchandise for the holidays but the most popular stuff can go fast. Staff are apathetic at best and usually there arent enough staff on registers during busy times. Plenty of parking available.

I just LOVE this store. Ya never know what goodies youll come across! This is the 1st spot I usually hit for Christmas shopping. They also have the best selection of candles, picture frames, canvas prints and decorative boxes that you never knew you HAD to have! 😉

Very claustrophobic with the new layout. Aisles only allow one person with a cart to pass though. Plus, to exit the store without purchasing items, one must go through the tight cash wrap maze. Im surprised code enforcement approved this plan.

I had to return a Fire pit that I bought because I did not work and a really rude manager made me carry that heavy box back to my car because he said I did not buy it in that location.

I never gave this place a chance until now, and you know what...I wasnt disappointed. The amout of stuff you can buy here is amazing. I would give this place 5 stars however, the first 6 things I asked for from the displays I picked out of, ran out or they wouldnt have them until the following week. I lmost left but after looking around i realized that there were still lots of things that no other store prices couldnt beat, not even walmart, so we stayed. The staff, super friendly, the manager Lilly at the one in Boynton Beach was super friendly, her customer service was superb. Definitely coming back here first before checking other major super shopping companys for my home needs. Good job BIG LOTS, keep up the good work.

I walked into big lots to return stale Po peanuts and patiently waited in the area marked customer service until Lilly git off if the phone. I told her that I wanted to return stale peanuts. She turned and said that I now have to wait on a long line after waiting a long time for her to get off if the phone and while she was standing at the customer service line. Weve been. Coming to big lots for 10 years and this manager made us stand in wait twice. We no longer want anything to do with Big Lots. Do not send us anymore coupons or emails I will opt out. Knowing the we were standing there for that long it would have taken her a few seconds to do this transaction. Instead she made us stand in another line. Who needs this agravation, first expired stale food and this. Good bye big lots I will be contacting the FDA and let the know that your selling expired food.

At one time Big Lots was a great place to find bargains. Now, not so much. You need to be careful shopper because many items are overpriced. There are many items that are not price marked. This is very annoying. I mentioned that to the cashier and she didnt much care.
