I have been a customer of Firestone/Tires Plus for over 15 years and have never had a bad experience until I visited the Boynton Beach location.1. Dishonest: an associate told me the part I needed for my vehicle was not available. David stated on the phone “there aren’t any in Palm Beach County.” Firestone’s mantra is is all about being honest with the customer. David was not. He made excuses and didn’t even own up to his mistake.2. Poor customer service: I made some calls and did my due diligence. Found the part for my vehicle in 15 minutes. I was told by Eli, “Firestone policy doesn’t permit customers to get their own parts.” I missed work today due to their lack of urgency for the customer. When I asked when the part would get to the store I was pacified and when I asked if I could pick up my vehicle I was told, “Sunday afternoon if it’s the right part,” by David and Eli in a condescending tone. They were unprofessional, unapologetic, and overall arrogant.3. Unfair payment: when I asked if I was going to be charged full price for finding my own part. Eli stated, “Yes.” When I asked why and explained I did their job for them his response was, “I’m not calling several places for a car part. I told you what they told me.” It’s literally their job to do just that: get the parts for their customers.Needless to say, I will not be going to this or any Firestone ever again. This experience was the absolute worst. They overcharged me for parts, increased the labor, and didn’t even give me the evaluation off (initial price for looking at the vehicle) as a courtesy. I have spent thousands of dollars over the past 15 years with this company—across Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina—and recommended a great number of people to patronize this company. I am beyond disappointed in both associates. They were callous, indignant, and did not live up to what I have always depended on Firestone to be: honest, fair, professional and a friend to their customers. Shame on you Firestone of Boynton Beach.

Made an appointment 1 week in advance for this Saturday morning at 8:00am. The breaks were squeaking. I was assured the vehicle would be ready before close the same day, as Sunday night I was headed out of town. I dropped the vehicle off on time and was told I would get a call with what needed to be done. I did not receive a call, so at 2:45pm I called and waited on hold for 20 minutes. Finally, I spoke with an extremely rude gentleman who said they were working on the car. I asked when I will know what was going on and his answer was we are extremely busy and someone will call, then he hung up on me. Sunday rolls around and still no call. I called at 10:45am and spoke with who Eli, who was nice but said the car is next in line to be looked at. Obviously, I was upset for being lied to and for the delay. He said he will call me when he had more news. I received a call back from Eli at 12:15 saying the car needed rotos and breaks but it would most likely not be done until Monday some time. Told him forget it. I just picked up the car and left with nothing being done to the breaks. Complete waste of time. I could have been more understanding if they communicated better and didnt lie but I will never go back.

I called on Sunday and made an appointment for 8 AM on Monday. I just needed an oil change, tire rotation and a headlight and brake light replaced. I stated that I needed the car back by 3 when I made rhe appointment and when I dropped the car off. At 2:45 I still had not received a call. When I called, was put on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up on. When I finally got someone to talk to me, they said my car was just finishing up. When I arrived 15 minutes later, the oil change was just being started, the tires had not been rotated, and lights not replaced. This should have been a quick job. 7 hours later and I had to take my car without work completed, to pick up my daughter from school. When I asked for the corporate office number, they said there was none and that I just needed to fill out a survey. After telling them I would find it myself, they produced a number, I havent tried it yet, so who knows. Every time I bring my car there, they find hundreds of dollars, if not thousands of suggested repairs. Ive spent a lot of money with these guys and expected satisfaction. Will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. From the look of these reviews in the past months, the corporate office may want to pay attention.

Scheduled a 3pm appointment online for today for AC recharge! When I get there...was told that the appointment wasnt there and was asked if I got a confirmation. Its on my phone but the idiot at the desk could not find it! I then drove to Goodyear...walked in...and the work is in progress! NEVER AGAIN WITH FIRESTONE...even though they are located less than 5 minutes from my home! Terrible service!! Several people complaining in line ahead of me.

I am from out of town here for medical reasons and need my car. My brake lights were stuck on and Rob got me in right away and fixed it right away. These guys are great. Highly recommend using them. Very customer service oriented. If I could give more stars I would. Thanks Rob.

SCAM SCAM SCAM I brought my van there to have a complete inspection, I wanted everything checked and fixed I was told my bill would be 2k . After being told what was wrong. I spoke with whoever was in charge and told them my brake lights and turn signals work.Then I was told well they arent working now,then the mechanic comes in and says yes it isnt working at all at the moment. I said ok and was about to leave when my wife said go push the brake and check the turn signals, I will watch to see if they work. Well I did and everything worked. Went back inside to complain and was told many lies and it just might be a shortage. I didnt have it fix and 3 weeks later no issues with brake lights or signals. I called customer service and was told someone would call me but no one has. Not a follow up or anything. How can I trust that they fixed anything. I saved over 400 by checking my turn signal and brakes . I will never go to this place ever!! SCAM SCAM SCAM again

Took great care of me when I came in to get my tire fixed, even applied for a credit card. Walmart wanted me to make an appointment when I had a nail in my tire, I didnt have time for an appointment so I went to Firestone where there service was great.

Great experience! New to Boynton B. Was hesitant, didnt want to walk into a store to get up sold on things I didnt need. I wasnt sure if I needed new tires or an alignment. Dave came out to the car and pointed out how old the tires were and made recommendations. Loved that he wasnt pushy about services. He ended up saving me money by telling me about mail in rebates. I had already researched the info online but he was a straight shooter. Ended up with new tires and a smooth ride. Destination L3 were the newest tires they carried for my truck and the tread on it was perfect. Highly recommend this location. It was busy so be patient, I can see how they get overwhelmed with customers so keep an open mind, plan ahead and set an appointment! will be making this my go to spot for oil changes and maintenance. I was there 3 weeks ago to replace my break pads on my vehicle and make a wheel alignment. (I spend $1035)When I take my car I feeled the car still turn right what was before.Today I took back and ask them whats wrong with the car. They make an another wheel alignment and tire rotation and they said is perfect now. I ask the guy do you find another problem ? He said,., no everything is good now.I take my car and the first 500 feet I fell the same problem. Still turning right.Looks like they are so unprofessional.

I brought my truck in for a tire change. They broke my pressure sensor and refused to take responsibility for it. Gave me excuses after excuses on why it wasnt working when my truck was better off before I brought it in. DO NOT GO HERE, THEY DO NOT STAND BY THE SERVICE THEY GIVE YOU. The worker who answered the phone was very courteous, kind and professional. I was a little discouraged after making an appointment knowing that my time would still be 1 to 2 hours but they were good at keeping me updated on the status as I waited near the area. what made my experience even more then I expected was a worker by the name of Luis taking the time to find me before I left the lot to let me know that he needed to refund something they charged me because they should not have. It was for a flat repair I had two nails in one of my tires but apparently neither of them pierced all the way through. There was supposedly a note left for the cashier that was missed, no matter, I was pleasantly surprised that he took the time to make it right. The other workers around were friendly, except for one. He was not rude but he was not amiable either. Overall, a great experience. And you can plan for the wait. Highly recommend. My initial visit was only for an oil change. I will definitely come back for my maintenance needs. And possibly for repairs If they’re running the right promos, which they always seem to be if you look on their website and ask in the store.

I called to get my vehicle looked at, and unfortunately they told me they were too booked to get the car in. No problem I said when can I make an appointment to have it looked at. Made an appointment for Monday at 9am to have the vehicle looked at while I waited. Took time off of work, drove over to the place early, waited in line, all for them to tell me my appointment doesn’t matter and I need to leave the car. I told them I couldn’t do that because I had work and that’s why I made an APPOINTMENT!! DIDNT matter, they couldn’t help me. For that, I’ll never do business with them. I’d give them 0 stars if I could, that’s the worst kinda of service you can give when you screw over people’s personal life because your shop is incompetent.

I brought my car in for brake lines change and some fluid replacement and after spending $565 the fuel lines were posthumously found to be leaking and needing to be replaced. Did not have ANY fuel or fuel line problems before I took the car in for repair. Suspect someone deliberately tampered with car to add a more expensive fix. Will see what happens later.

I recommend going to any mom and Pops place then these guys. There is mom and pops over on federal here in Boynton which is amazing.

Firstly, they don’t even deserve a star but I cant put 0. Called at 6:15 after I had an emergency roadside assistance situation. (Blown tire but all I needed was someone to put my old rim on the extra tire I had) and was put on hold for 20 min. Long time after he finally answered and I explained my situation and told him all I needed was to have them put my rim on my extra tire. He then and I quote said “we can’t tonight”. Said this while they were still open for another 30 minutes or so. Took my business elsewhere and had my rim put on in 10 minutes. Never getting services done here at firestone because if they can’t do something as simple as putting a rim on a tire I sure won’t trust them with any other services.

Scheduled an appointment online, received confirmation email and when I arrived was told they couldnt honor my appointment due to overbooking. Rescheduled for early today and explained that all I needed was for the tire sensors to be checked and reset and that I didnt have a lot of time. I purchased tires in May from this location, they broke and replaced one sensor, would think that they would checked all of them with the installation of new tires. Fast forward to today, arrived on time, was told it would take 1-1.5 hours and $50 to check the sensors, which should have been done in May. Very disappointed in the service or lack thereof.

They got the job done at no charge because I had a contract with them. That was not the problem. It was because I waited for a long time ok; but decided to leave the vehicle. Within a few minutes of getting home I get a call its done. Bad communication they should say youre vehicle is in right, will be about time long. . Very busy place. I brought my car for the appointment. The screw was in the tire between the first and second tread. In my opinion not part of the side wall.The service person told me I needed to buy a new tire.I found several service centers that would patch or plug the tire. The tire has been fine now for a week. Fair to say some service centers that sell,tires wouldn’t recommend a patch or plug. Personally I have years of experience and success with the plug technique. Feeling very comfortable with the $10.70 solution.

I spent $700 on tires here last month. One of my tires got a small screw in it and I plugged it for a quick fix to get me home at 4 am.. I wanted to get it patched so I take it in the next day and the man behind the counter tells me they can either put my spare on or sell me a new tire. They wont patch it for me because of the plug. The tire only has 2000 miles on it. Why would I spend another $150 for a tire. Went to Tire Choice and there was no problem patching it for me. I wont be going back to that store anymore. Ripoff!

Could care less what a customer thinks or what the overall experience is at the shop. The secretaries behind the desk there, because let’s face it, dudes are just answering phones and taking notes to give to mechanics, treat people poorly (customers that actually work hard for a living) to make themselves feel more important. I guess working behind counter at Firestone doesn’t require much common sense, people skills, brains or tact. Do yourself a favor and steer clear, unless you don’t mind overpaying, poor attitudes and workmanship.

Fantastic prices on great tires. You can go somewhere else and get cheaper tires, but I have already tried that and quickly discovered that you definitely get what you pay for. The manager, Arie, helped us when we went in for our free lifetime alignment (pay an extra fee once with your regular alignment, then you’re set for a free alignment every time you need to have your alignment done after that!). Not only was Arie extremely professional, informative and helpful, but he made the whole experience fun and positive during a long wait on a busy day, taking the time to explain every detail I requested. Arie helped us deal with an issue we had with our paperwork and ended up saving us more money with the roadside hazard protection on our new tires. Although they were extremely busy, they were quick and efficient, doing everything the right way, no cutting corners or charging extra for the little things (as I have experienced first hand at other shops). We are now loyal and repeat customers!

So I made an appointment on Monday too have my right front strut replaced on Friday. Had to call and reschedule on that same Tuesday, for Saturday instead.Arrived Saturday at 12:50pm for 1:00pm appt. I was promptly greeted and provide my name and the gentleman who greeted me found the appt for 1:00pm, except the quote indicated 2 struts were to be replaced I told him that only one was damaged and I only wanted one replaced. He told me that someone else had to talk to me. After waiting 45 min I asked if whoever needed to talk to me was going to talk to me. The gentleman who originally greeted me, acted like he had never met me before or knew why I was waiting. Review the same thing I had already told him and another associated came and took over. I had over the keys and they said they would get it right up. After about 15-20 min I get called by this store, so I return back in the store. I was then told that the kit for the strut wasn’t available and they would have to wait on it and told me they would not be done until 5-5:30am...now if I made an apt to have the strut replaced you’d think that they would have the kit available. This is the second time I have made an appt and had to wait 45:00 or more for work to even be started on my car. I am a frequent customer or should I say I was. The only offering for my inconvenience was promising apologizing...which was the same as it was the last appt I had to wait for.I think it should be noted that there was also a special sale going on that seem to overwhelm the staff and dedicate their time and energy into selling tires to walk-in than taking care of an existing long time firestone customer (formerly)

Service is always very good here. I went here to get my tires checked for air. The mechanics are always accommodating and quick. I purchased Bridgestone tires here. The cost was reasonable and Im very satisfied with the service. They have a 0% APR offer forv6 months. It certainly helped me to pay for the tires.

We called this morning to see what would be a good time to come in, we were not offered to schedule an appointment. When we arrived we were told it would be an hour and a half so we walked around the stores and came back at the time we were told. We were told by a smug worker that it will he another hour and a half before they would get to it. He then said, I told you that it would be best to make an appointment especially if you have a little one. He not once said that and we do not appreciate the tone and how we were treated. Our baby has had two heart surgeries and we are not about to wait longer with her being cranky. All in all a terrible experience! Deserves no stars. We were prepared to wait but not that long and we definitely did not expect to be treated with this attitude.

I would like them to know that female isnt a synonym for stupid. I made an appointment a week in advance to bring my car in to have the left rear window mechanism replaced. Its an old car and it simply crumbled away over time (same thing happened to my right rear window a couple of years back). I very specifically told them what was wrong and what I wnated them to fix while making my appointment. I walked down the street to get some breakfast, and got a call saying they had done an inspection, and in addition to $300 to fix the window (about what I expected), I also needed a $15 gasket, new wiper blades at $27, some small bulbs at $15 a pop, and the battery was weak and would have to be replaced for $170. Basically, they were trying to get me to spend hundreds of dollars on a car with a $900 Blue Book value. I resent having to pay for an inspection ($75) when I told them specifically what I wanted them to fix--I didnt ask them to tell me what was wrong with my car. Every Firestone Ive ever been to, from Montana to Florida, its the same hustle. Always trying to get you to pay for as much as they can possibly get you to pay for. Its dishonest and unethical, and its disrespectful, too. Ill never go to another Firestone again.

Needed 4 tires and they quoted me end of day. I had a time situation so they said they’d help me, which they did. I also needed an alignment which I declined but they told me it was always done when replacing 4 tires which I then remembered correctly and agreed to do. They guy was informative but not pushy or put off when I said no at first. Also they just called me about my front breaks being bad. I already have these on order to do myself but liked that they noticed and called to inform and offer work. I’m also glad they didn’t say my rear breaks were bad bc I replaced them a month ago. Honest place. Very busy but so far good experience. I’ll update when I pick my jeep up.

He offered multiple options to help me. One of those options was to come over, in an hour or so and Ill see what I can do, even with nothing open. Upon arrival, he introduced himself and asked how can I help you. After identifying myself, he was able to get me in. Further, after a vehicle inspection, he showed me how my front tires needed replacing. I normally would have passed as I thought this is a typical ploy. HOWEVER, I felt very confident that I was at the right place at the right time, this young man just delivered a sense of trust that one very rarely sees . An awesome experience. I have been using this store for 20 years. They have been there for me for a wide range of services, even when I bring in some Goodyears to match tires on a car I purchased. I just brought in some mags to be installed with existing tires. They came with the TPMS installed. When Mike found out that they werent properly programmed, he apologized and offered to program them for me, when it wasnt even the fault of Firestone. This is why I will be a customer for another 20 years.

I arrived 10:30 am on a Sunday w/o appt. and ended up leaving around 3:30 pm. Overall it was pretty good. Staff was a bit overwhelmed to me it seems they were understaffed for a Sunday. I didnt mind the wait as long as they done the work right.

I ADVISE YOU TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS BEFORE TAKING YOUR VEHICLE HERE. ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS service. I regret not going to some mom and pop mechanic after the experience I had. Fire stone had my car for a total of seven days Saturday-Sunday, then Saturday to Wednesday. I originally took my car in for a misfiring engine and an oil change. Those two things got fixed and during those repairs they informed me one of my engine mounts was broken. I asked them how critical was it that I got that repaired and they said not critical but issues would come up later on if i did not have it repaired. I asked would my car break down soon if I did not immediately have it repaired. They said no. I told them okay do not fix that I will handle it with another mechanic. They fix everything else. I pick it up, pay $1100 dollars, drive down to Lawrence road, less than 2 minutes from the shop, my check engine light turns on and my car starts stuttering. I call them again and tell them whats happening and they say I will need to bring it back in for repairs. Considering I had work all of the next week I brought it in first thing in the morning the following Saturday. I drop it off and they later call me to inform me I now have two broken engine mounts and a ripped air hose. Which will equate to nearly $700 in repair costs. After awhile of arguing about me specifically asking would the engine mount pose an immediate issue and them telling me no they decide to not charge me for labor which took off about $300 dollars. I was thankful for this and said okay. They had to order the part from the dealer, it took until Tuesday to get there because the dealer sent the wrong part the first time. Not there fault I understood. Tuesday I get a call, hey, so we noticed your radiator has a minor leak but it should be that big of an issue if you do not fix it now since it would be expensive. Considering I literally just went through this I tell them no, I refuse to drive my car out of the lot with damaged equipment only to have it breakdown on my with even more repairs needed. They say okay the repairs will be about $500 dollars. ME being naive I actually believed it is something they just noticed. I told my father and he told me they most likely broke it while working on the engine mount and now want me to pay to repair it. I call the manager Wednesday since he already left Tuesday and argue with him over the phone about them repairing my radiator. He tells me they could not have damaged my radiator since they were not working anywhere near it. Mind you, the front engine mount is directly below the radiator in my car... Then he asks me do I think it is fair that I expect to get a free radiator repair from them. I say yes considering as of right now it appears that they were the ones who damaged it. He also told me not to call corporate because they would just give him my number and I would be speaking to him again. I ended up calling corporate later (very good experience) He ends up agreeing to repair it for $250. I agree because I need my car back for work for the rest of the week. I pick it up, in total comes out to, low and behold... $700. I pay it, go home, call corporate, try to lodge a complaint but they file it as a vehicle damage claim which makes sense. Customer support on the phone was lovely. They were calm and concise. I also wrote this extremely long review in the hopes that no one will experience the abysmal service I just did.UPDATE: About a week after writing this update, a Firestone vehicle damage claim specialist called me and told me he had spoken to the general manager of the Firestone, but still wanted to hear my side as well. I explained the ordeal to him and he stated, It makes no sense why the manager put you through this. He should have fixed your radiator immediately, and informed you afterwards that they had damaged it but it has been repaired. I agreed with him, he reimbursed me for what I spent to repair the radiator, apologized for what occurred, and sent me on my way. Overall, fantastic customer service.

Get here early or your better bet is to make an appointment. Constantly busy expect to wait. Staff typically will upsale you into getting more work done on your vehicle then you intended.

Highlights:- Tires put on wrong wheels- Told tires would be install in a day, almost took three days before I complained- Was almost sold an alignment that I didnt want (twice)- Told multiple times manager was too busy to talk- Ray and Mario are good people trying to make the best out of a poorly managed systemCame in on a Sunday to have a punctured tire repaired. The puncture was close to the side wall so they recommended a replacement of the tire which I agreed with and while I was there I decided to get a second tire. I worked with Mario who ordered the tires. Luckily I confirmed with Mario that I wanted the factory Goodyear tires that come stock with my car as they were going to order the Firestone equivalent. Thought it was a bit unprofessional to assume the customer just wanted the tires that Firestone sold when the other tires on the car wouldnt match.Mario assured me the tires would be delivered and installed on Monday. On Monday I called Mario in the mid afternoon to check on the progress. He assured me that they would be installing the tires today even though they hadnt come in yet. At 5:00 pm I called again and spoke with a different tech who was alarmed to hear that I was expecting to have two tires installed today. They company delivering the tires was late and wouldnt be delivering until tomorrow. He tells me that they would have the tires on my car as soon as possible after they come in Tuesday morning. I was understanding since somethings are out of their control.Tuesday afternoon rolls around and I call to find how things are going. Ray informs me that Mario isnt working today and looks up my tire order while Im on the phone. He confirms my tires have been delivered and then asks me if my car has been dropped off.... He also mentions a life time alignment that they are going to perform I quickly explain I dont have an existing alignment plan with them and I dont want their alignment. I explain the situation and that I have been out of a car now a day longer than expected. Seems very unorganized, If they dont have someone calling and bothering them, it wont get done.Next I receive a call at 5:40 PM on Tuesday from Ray. Its bad news Ray says, they cant install the tires today because they had a couple guys call out and are behind. At this point Im pissed, clearly my car had been forgotten until the late afternoon and nobody prioritized a customer that had been waiting since Sunday in front of people that had been walking in same day. I explained that this was not acceptable. Ray puts me on a quick hold and comes back to explain that he talked to the manager and they were going to perform a miracle for me and have my tires installed and I could pick my car up around 6:20 PM. Guys, its not a miracle when you are already over promising and under delivering...I go down to pick up my car. Right after I look at the car in the parking lot I can tell something is wrong. The new tires that they told me they would install on the BACK of the car were installed on the FRONT. Ray tells me that this is a mistake and that I will have to come back at another time to have the tires rotated. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I never yell or cuss in these situations because Ive worked in customer service but I really wanted to this time.I requested to talk to a manager but Ray declined explaining that the manager was too busy helping pick up the slack from the two guys that called out. UNACCEPTABLE.To put the cherry on the cake, there are fingerprints all around the outside of my driver door, not just on the parts you would typically expect like the door piller and handle but on the trim under the window and the paint below the trim under the window. All over. Then the tech left some type of device in my car, which I returned.. Its so hard to find a good place to work on your car.... I know Ray and Mario tried but I think the processes and people behind them are the underlying problem and that is a shame.

Decent place, wait can get long, but thats always the case with these places. Had an issue with one of my vehicles and they took the time to thoroughly determine what the issue was and explain it to me, even though they referred me to the dealership to have the repair done and didnt do it themselves or get paid for the repair.

I made an appointment online for 4:30. When I’m checking in the representative said the appointments are made on the hour. I showed him the picture on my phone showing my confirmation and he turns his computer screen to show me it says 5:00. I walked out, don’t argue with me when I have a picture. Not today.

Very little. I called yesterday and explained the problem. I was told to bring the car in at 7:00am today and Id be taken immediately. I arrived at 7:00 and was told that the part would have to be ordered, but theyd remove the old part and would have the new part around 8:00 or 8:15am. I wasnt thrilled but I said Id wait figuring Id be out by 9:00am. Its 9:30am and the part just arrived. Not real happy. If Im out by 10:00am itll be a miracle. 3 hours wait to replace a wheel lug is ridiculous.
