I buy storage units on the side for an extra income. So, a few weeks ago. I bought one that had 2 full boxs of football cards and 1 box of pokemon cards from the late 90s.The guys at Hobby Town took their time to explain and show me the actual value of the cards on a website they exclusively use to value their inventory.It was really nice to talk to someone honest about something I know absolutely nothing about. I told Luca The next time I come across any pokemon or magic cards. I would definitely bring them to you guys first.Im glad I found that little shop in Bowling Green!

My dad took me where when I was visiting on vacation. They have An amazing selection for a variety of hobbies. Wish I had the money to get into the rc airplanes!

Selection was fantastic. Was disappointed that none of the staff wore mask. Despite signage present in the store, no customers wore mask and the staff made no attempt to enforce mask wearing. One staff member had a mask, but wore it below his chin.Edit:Went back for a second chance. Employee had an extremely loud conversation with a customer across the store about why he thinks the covid vaccines are bad and why people shouldnt get them. I go to a nerd store to be a nerd and escape reality, not listen to employees spout off completely false and dangerous information about a real world pandemic.I dont recommend this store to anyone that cares about their own or others well being.

Bought a electric rc car from here Friday get it home the charger / battery was bad had a bad fuse replaced the fuse the battery would not charge . Returned it and got a open box nitro car get it home and it doesn’t run after messing with the tuning for a day take it back and they want me to leave it there to be repaired heading out on my truck for 3 weeks tomorrow and bought the car for my son and I to enjoy before I leave now I’m stuck with junk that doesn’t work 🤷🏻‍♂️

Good place to go for most of your Hobby wants. They have models and board games along with Warhammer (the only place around that I know of that sells Warhammer). Me and a buddy went a few weeks back to get some Gundam models but they only had maybe 1 or 2. Typically they have a ton of them. So we got Kamen rider models and one Gundam related model that was for kids.

Was there 30mins and had no one help but helped customers that come in after me. Was wanting to buy a new rc car but guess Ill go to a different town or just go online

It’s ok but not much RC inventory

We loved this store. We drove over an hour to get there and were not disappointed. There is a huge selection of various hobby parts and kits. Tons of card game options, rc models, model builds, spare parts, a mark down section with several options, and even a sweet kitten. Honestly, the black shop kitten was our favorite part. That is a smart move as a business owner. I highly recommend this store and its salem-esk feline tag along.

Beats hobby lobb unless you sew which I do not. Great service and nice employees. Great selection for models, paints, rc equipment. Prices are even better. Have been many times and will continue to come back.

Model trains, model cars from snap tite to level 5, remote control cars to remote control airplanes. Lots of choices for anyone that wants either a hobby for themselves or a family. Love this place. Prices are not as high as slot of places.

The people here are nice and the prices are decent. They often have sales on board games and the like so make sure to check often in the area in case your favorite is on sale. It can feel a bit cramped with the sheer amount of products they have but the variety is fantastic.I really only play Magic and board games but if I was into other hobbies Im sure I would appreciate them.

Neat place!! Very knowledgeable staff and magic players. They have a lot of tournaments. They also do lots of other gaming and have model airplanes, drones, model trains, etc.

Every time I set foot in Hobbytown, I feel that I am always welcome. The staff are always helpful in getting me what I need, whether it be a book, model, board game, etc. If they dont have a certain product that I want, they can order it for me. They also host game meets for people who play Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, etc. On top of all this, they provide good tech support and repair capabilities when it comes to r/c vehicles. I highly recommend anyone who is interested in models, r/c vehicles, and board games to go to Hobbytown. Its not only worth your money, but also worth your time.

Took the drive up here now that the Hobbytown in Mt Juliet has closed. The only remaining hobby shop for fixed wing in the Nashville area is down in Smyrna, so I figured Id head up to BG and see what they have. Glad I did. Got a great deal on a 10 amp balance charger and some other small accessories I wouldnt have thought to get online.Will definitely be back.

I’m trying not to be negative because the store was clean and the workers were very courteous. So I’ll stick with the facts. I stopped in for two common parts for existing RC vehicles that I already own. During this visit I found a clearly printed marked priced RC vehicle that was a decent price. It wasn’t an over the top great price but good enough to where I took the truck up to the sales counter and was going to make the purchase. After confirming they did not have my parts In stock, the sales rep confessed the price of the RC Truck was inaccurately labeled. I was not permitted to purchase the item at the labeled price. I would have still made the purchase if they would have at least discounted it for their mistake. I was offered an apology for the out of stock items and the mislabeled RC Vehicle, but I walked out of that store empty handed. I did give two stars because the store was in great shape and the Reps were very respectful.

It carries a wide selection of hobby items, such as various model kits, train kits, board games, many different card games and more. The layout makes it easy to find any of the supplies for whichever hobby youre interested in. If youre looking for cards, the staff are very helpful and will find it for you in their extensive collection. As for events and activities, this store often hosts many different games depending on the weekday, so there is something for everyone. Small Tournaments are also held here for any Magic or Pokemon card players who are wanting to try out their deck in a more competitive setting, however, it is worth mentioning that the monitoring during these small events is somewhat subpar due to how busy it can get. Overall a perfect place for any hobbyist, but could improve on hosting tournaments.

Pretty neat place... all different kinds of RC toys. Traxxas trucks, Jeeps, airplanes, drones and even rockets. Got a serious education concerning the pricing on some of the Traxxas stuff 🤯.Nice folks willing to help.

Awesome hobby shop! Has a lot of everything. Lots of train stuff, RC stuff, and plenty of miniature stuff. Plenty of Games Workshop stuff to browse through. I am from out of town and very jealous that there isn’t a store like this near my home.

This is the best hobby shop in town. They have a lot of niche hobbies here and they also have card game tournaments and other table top game tables you can play at.I buy most of my Gundams here.

If you are RC hobbyist, good selection. Model trains, well thats a different story. Very typical of hobby shops today. I rated it a 5 based on the fact that there is not much in the area.

This is a great game store. Even though one of the workers was not very familiar with a game that I had questions about, he looked it up for me. If you are interested in miniatures games, this place is for you.

The staff was very helpful in finding what I needed although they didnt have an rc tech available. They did however have the parts I needed to fix and upgrade my rc. They also had a nice selection of rcs. They have train supplies and various other hobby supplies. Prices are very reasonable, they didnt have the nitro fuel I wanted so they discounted what they had 10% I thought this was very nice of them. Will do business there again.

I purchase a drone here over $250.002 days later I brought it back because 1 motor was defected out of the box. They replaced the motor free of charge. I dropped it off motor had to be ordered. Said they will have it in Friday or Saturday. Its sunday and iv not yet received a call but they ate closed today. Grate customer service and very friendly.

This place carries everything I need for model building, from the kits themselves, all the way down to plastic sheet. The prices are fair, especially for niche models like gunpla, and the employees know their stuff. I cant ask for much more, so they get my business.
