Great little shop full of comics and toys. I shop here a lot looking for vintage toys and I always find a good treasure. You can sell or trade your toys for store credit. Tons and tons of comics to browse. Great conversation with owner as well.
GREAT comic & vintage toy shop. This is by far the best shop in Bowling Green for vintage toys. The owners are awesome!
Awesome store full of all the classics from comics and cards to action figures new and old everytime I go there I get that weird feeling inside seeing a toy I had as a child new in box and all the memories that come with it great store and the owners cool as the under side of your pillow awesome experience Ive been several times in the past month sometimes to look around and send pictures to my brother of all the old stuff I grew up on
Visited for the first time today. Great collection of back issue silver, bronze, and modern age comics. A big selection of classic toys too. Will definitely be back.
Best store I have ever been to the best comics and collector toys still in the packaging and very nice people
Lots of funkos and collectibles and comics stop by and check this place out
They will tell you that you have trash comics and under pay you for them. My non-understanding of the price of comics messed me up. But they are not honest. Sell your comics on eBay. These folks are crooks.
Great store, nice selection and they went out of their way to take care of me.
GREAT PLACE for comics, toys(new and retro),one of items and killer conversations with the staff.Check their FB for up to date product info.
The owner is really nice and good prices.
Visiting the Archives is like getting injected with a massive dose of pop culture when you walk in the door. Doesnt hurt that its ran by great people who love all of the things in the store as much as the customers do. With new stock coming in often, its a must to revisit regularly. Also, they buy Comics, Collectable toys/figures, and much more at very fair prices or trade. I would say BG needs more stores like this, but I think were just fine having the Archive covering all of our geek needs.
Small mom and pop store. The owners were the nicest people and very helpful. Many toys and comics to choose from!
I was visiting from out of town and thought Id hit up a local comic book store. The Archives is an old school, back-issue only comic book store. Just how I like em. I spent about an hour digging through long boxes and I was even able to scrounge up a few hidden treasures! The true treasure of THIS particular store is the owner, Mike. They dont make them like this anymore: Super-friendly, polite, and generous. I left feeling as if Id met up with an old friend. I highly recommend the Archives for both the comics and the small talk with Mike.
The place is always packed with comics and some really cool collectibles. Today was Free Comic Book Day 2018 and they had some amazing sales. Ive only been here a few times, but I definitely plan on returning. The owner was very helpful and friendly and gave us some great deals. Good family friendly environment too.
Mike is awesome! Be sure to go when they have sales. Back issues only but a great place to dig for minor keys and lower grade big keys.
The Archives is the single best comic shop. Probably in the state. They always have great deals. 25% off all back issues. They do sales like 35% off, or $4.99 or up to $6.99 and under comics for a $1.00!!Or build a long box fir $120. Add their FB page to keep up on the sales. Mike is always moving product so its not always the same issues in stock. Mike and family are the nicest people, as well.Ive been collecting since the 80s and this is seriously the best deals Ive seen. If youre a comic shop person, shop here!!!
You guys really need to update your hours of operation. Just made a whole trip for nothing. Thanks.
Mike is fair, honest, & welcoming. Worth your time if youre seeking silver & bronze age back issues.
Great place to check out. I have bought several comics here. Owner always has some deal going or takes a % off!! Highly recommended!!!
The best place for a comic book fan to kill an hour ... make that an afternoon ... heck, a whole day!
Best comic book store ever! If youre looking for vintage, this is the place!
The owners are so friendly and knowledgeable. Also, you can find pretty much anything you want.
Bought a funko pop from this store and also had some good conversation with the owner. Great service!!
The owners are really nice people. Much friendlier than the people at great escape. And they have a good selection
Super friendly owner. Mom and pop style shop. Older issues of comics and toys
Great shop. Awesome service and great prices and selection. Sound some mint condition Star Wars merch Ive been hunting.
Good place. Initially judged it harshly but I was having a bad day. Kind owners. I recommend The Archives.
Awesome place to go. Super knowledgeable and the people who run it are so nice.
