Just went in to purchase graduation gown, cap, and tassel. No one was available to help with purchasing any of the items. When I went to check out, I waited 7 minutes for a cashier to appear. I was first in line. When they arrived, they took a long time to check out my purchases. While this happened, another guest was being helped at the next register. That cashier was asking about their visit to BG from out of state. They are from 10+ hours away for a sports tournament, but the sibling was buying a shirt, perhaps interested in BGSU. He said there isnt much to see here besides cornfields but there are cities in central Ohio. I was appalled to hear this as a proud BG grad and student, as was my boyfriend, a soon to be BG grad. Our checkout took a long time so we heard the next interaction with the other cashier, yet again, does not sell BGSU/Bowling Green very well and dismisses the area as not exciting. At the end of the long checkout process, the cashier said thank you and goodbye, no mention of congratulations for my boyfriends upcoming graduation in 2 weeks or apology for long checkout process. I am very dissatisfied with quality of service, speed of service, and opinions cashiers shared. Most students I know love BGSU and Bowling Green, and are always willing to share recommendations, stories, etc. about the area, including myself. It was disheartening to hear how there is nothing to see here and told to explore other areas in Ohio, and other universities. BGSU was a great place for me, friends, and family who attended. I have always recommended the area and college, and offered tours and recommendations. I think the staff of Falcon Outfitters needs to undergo a better training and assisted in small talk subjects or they need new cashiers, as they were all hiding in the back, assisting a customer with an online order. That shouldnt take 4 employees, while a line formed behind me. Every other interaction I have had at Falcon Outfitters has been great, met by helpful and positive employees. I hope this issue can be fixed or else more prospective students will not come to BGSU as the F.O. employees will deter them from being here.
Well stocked and staffed. A great place to go to find BGSU merchandise. It can be a little hard to find this stuff outside of BGSU.
A nice gift shop. Great staff, very large apparel selection and many trinkets. Prices not as good as local big box stores, but not any different than other college campus gift shops.
Great selection of BG gear.
As expected, very pricey but convenient. Neat, well organized, and clean. Friendly staff.
A little pricey but they have a good selection of seasonal gifts and #BGSU memorabilia!
All the BGSU wear youll ever need! Nice staff. Good parking.
Ziggabytes is a great place to buy all your technological equipment if you want to spend an absurd amount of money and in return get a crappy product that either breaks within a week or isn’t compatible with your device. The employees also have no idea what they’re talking about, and won’t let you return any devices. Shame that a college store takes advantage of college students like Ziggabytes does.
This isnt even a book store anymore. You HAVE to buy books online, and when I tried to at the beginning of the semester it took them 13, thats right, 13 WEEKS to send me what I ordered on top of sending me a $358 item I DID NOT ORDER. Very happy to be transferring out of the college. BGSU handles books in the worst way I have ever seen. This is a pitiful and very confusing business practice.
Great selection of BGSU apparel. Parking is a bit of challenge. These guys are now the only game in town! (for buying BG apparel)
They no longer sell books, and their clothing prices are outrages. For books: Online PDF or Amazon. For BGSU clothes: Meijer.
The convenience is hard to beat, but the price are absolutely ridiculous for everything but t-shirts.
Nice place for BGSU merch but god is it expensive
Theyre expensive, no longer sell books, and are always crowded. The staff are great, but its pretty inconvenient now.
Flew into Detroit from Colorado and then came to the book store to buy stuff to represent out west. Sign on the bookstore door says closed on Saturday and Sunday. This is about as disappointed as I have been in a while.
Ridclously priced iteams. Just trying to get as much money out of students as possible.
IF YOU ARE A STUDENT, DO NOT TRY TO SEND A PACKAGE FROM FALCON OUTFITTERS. They lost a 100 dollar package because none of the employees knew anything about the package center. Getting rid of Stampers was a terrible decision. They havent tried to contact me or reimburse me at all.
Fix you hours. Not open on the weekends
A lot of good Falcon gear!
They dont sell books in the bookstore. Need I say more?
Always friendly, but always the most expensive option for buying books for school.
Alright for a college campus. Things are way over priced and I hate that they dont sell textbooks in store anymore
I do not have too big a problem except with pricing. Example: a t shirt costs upwards of 40.00. I can go to target or goodwill and get a shirt for 5 dollars. If you are on a budget, do not go.
I hate it. Just money business. Worthless store.
Clean, friendly service
They can find the outfit to fit you
Great selection
