Horrible service! Came in for women’s safety shoes and the girl acted like I inconvenienced her by asking to look for my size. She brought me a pair and then disappeared. I could get no help. I walked out and went to the Russellville store where I was greeted with friendly helpful people. BG has a better selection of shoes but horrible service. They have lost my business as well as several of my coworkers business

Very friendly place that caters to their customers. Feel like a king while they bring yiur whatever shoe/size you desire. Much better than the big shoe chains.

We’ve been sitting in the car waiting for the store to open. It’s 1:10 pm and it’s still not opened up… They’re losing customers left and right.

We were just in the store and even though they didnt have the boots i wanted the young ladies provided excellent service! Not sure what they get paid but for the service my wife and i received it probably isnt enough.

The owner took the time to show me different options that I would not have found. Highly recommend.

They have an amazing selection in steel toe shoes and women’s comfort shoes, the employees are nice and know a lot about the shoes.

This store is great! They have top notch employees and a good shoe selection. Just received a pair of size 15 5E steel toed shoes and they are amazing. They fit like a second skin and I only have them thanks to the patience and knowledge of the staff there. Thank you ladies so so so so much for helping me find these shoes in the time you did. My husband was fitted with some great boots and given patient, helpful customer service.Then I returned to buy him some more Timberland insoles that “make a huge difference in comfort” and filled out a raffle to win some Red Wings. I received a call that I won!! I was allowed to pick out any Red Wing shoe/boot I wanted. I am so excited over my new boots! Thank you Hayes Shoes!! We will be back!!

Have come here for years for work boots. After the rude service I will not be returning. I asked for help and the employee was short with me and while checking out was just plain rude.

When you go in ready to buy a pair of work boots and the lady that was helping you gets a call and the guy who comes to relive her just walks away from you what are you supposed to do? I know what I did.. took my $200 I was gonna spend on the boots they have over priced somewhere else. I prefer to support smaller businesses but not when the service is so poor.

My wife needed boots for work (steel toe) and this store had the best selection of women work boots that we have found. The biggest selection of slip on steel toes in town with most every size available. The salesman was very helpful and went above and beyond to help in our search for footwear.

PLEASE READ ALL UPDATED! Always shop local! The selection is nice and the staff is helpful. Except the lady that seems to manage the place, shes quite rude. I have shopped here several times. The prices are jacked up with corporate accounts in mind. The Reason, which I do understand. Is when the store receives vouchers from companies the store can still profit from sales after the discounts they offer the company. So basically if your employer isnt paying for at least 80-100% of the cost I would never shop here! Its way too expensive for average waged persons to reasonably afford on their own. I have to admit the business model works or they would not still be in business after decades of operation. I would love to see this place change for the better! I will return here and give them the benefit of doubt one more time. IF ONLY BECAUSE ITS LOCAL!As promised I have returned, it is now 2020 and wow it kinda sucks right? Anyway, The staff at Hayes shoes in Bowling Green appears to be more helpful and considerate now days. The prices are still elevated in my opinion but have come down a little. I bumped them up from 2 to 3 stars. STAY LOCAL!

Not everyone saves everything. Had a pair of steel toe tennis shoes for roughly 2 weeks but only wore them for 2 days. The second day the bottom started coming off. I took them back to exchange them and they refused to exchange because I didnt have a receipt but yet you sign papers when you purchase them. Your purchase should be in the system so I dont understand why I couldnt exchange.

Great place to buy boots for work or boots for great outings with your signifigant other. Got my pair of Timbs for a great price and they work really well for my job and are very comfortable. They have anywhere from steel toes to Esd combinations to plain boots if boots are your style.

The staff was very helpful and they had a wide variety of different types of shoes and boats.

This is not a good place to buy boot. Very over priced and one of the guys treated me like i was stupid. I got on the internet and knew more about boot leather in 5 minutes than he did. He was wrong. They act like you are inconveniencing them, not considering that we make a living wearing boots. What i looked at was over msrp. I think they just get company vouchers that dont pay attention so they over charge. They wanted $130 more than anyother retail store for the same boot. I would never step foot inthis place again.

Bought 2 pair of shoes one which were red wings was never worn only tried on in the store and once again at home did not fit so when I tried to return them they would not trade or return them they said they looked used due to having marks across the leather tounge of the shoe from the shoe strings where I tied them to try them on the 2nd pair whigh were Reebok the entire sole came apart with in 2 months not happy
