Great experience from start to finish! Tommy helped me with the vehicle and provided videos and walk arounds of everything I asked about. Financing paperwork was completed by Presley who had everything ready for me to go when I arrived. I purchased from out of state and they picked me up at the airport, Tommy had the truck ready and I walked out with my vehicle in 5 min or so with a cold water and sugar free monster! Just purchased a used Ford Escape for my daughter. I was remote and talked to Donovan Peoples. Donovan met my daughter and was very polite and helpful. He was professional and communicated with me regularly and followed through on every thing he said. He was a pleasure to work with and my daughter also commented to me how nice and helpful he was. We agreed on the purchase, so I went to pay for the car. I met and worked with the finance manager Presley Motes. He too was excellent to work with and it was very easy to complete the purchase. Wow! As everyone knows vehicles are difficult to come by now a day. I took a chance and called Thayer Ford and spoke with Chris to see if the Plug-In Hybrid was available. He said it was a special order but would contact to confirm. We were driving from Medina to another Ford dealer nearby to look at a hybrid model. Surprisingly Chris called back to say the vehicle was available. We were at the time 15 minutes away and headed directly there. Chris, Presley and team stayed over to complete the deal. Appreciate the commitment to customer service.

I had been looking for some time for a truck for my husband that met our want list. I came across a truck on Thayers website and gave them a call. Took my 2007 explorer in for a power train, warning light on in the dash, had my vehicle for 5 days and didnt even fix the problem I initially took it in for! Over paid for a job that was never completed rite! Now what am I to do??
Refuse to honor their own warrantee.Refused to replace broken running boards on bumper to bumper warrantee, and instead of simply taking them off decided to torch them off taking the mounting studs with them. Tried to charge me upwards of $1,400 to put new steps on my truck.So now I am forced to pay to have the mounting studs replaced, or go without.

The sales manager will offer you less than market value on your trade and then the salesman will call you every day for a week gradually raising it trying to sell you a vehicle that they had overpriced. The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. Vehicles are sold but then they are not sold available but then not available. I did not just drift in and decide to write a review. I have had more than one experience here. My family and I have purchased here before. NO CUSTOMER LOYALTY ! They would treat a complete stranger off the street better than a repeat customer. This dealership will not do you any favors.

Took my 2018 Ram 2500 in to trade. Was interested in a 2500 F150 but was told that they keep them on the lot for a particular business only because they know sooner or later the business will buy them. Sounds crazy, right? They only offered $25k for my Ram when they have the exact same thing on the lot, with less features and only a 1500 series for $40k! Salesman didnt want to negotiate either. Yup, going somewhere else.

I went in to schedule the 100k service for my 2012 explore. Their website had the service listed for $88.90. When I went in the wanted to charge me $599.95! Definitely just just baited me in their store. Glad I checked before they touched my vehicle or I would have been screwed!

I bought my Ford vehicle from here in 2017 from a very nice salesman. I have gone back to get my oil changed twice and have never been disappointed with the service. Everyone says hello as they walk by and the waiting room is a comfortable area. No complaints whatsoever.
Ive purchased a lot of cars due to the mileage I put on every year, and this purchase, by far, was the best experience I have ever had. The customer service I received was OUTSTANDING! I live in Wisconsin, saw the car online and after settling on a great price, I flew into Detroit where Dan from Thayer was there to pick me up with my new vehicle. Dan told me over the phone that the car was in great condition, that was an understatement, the car was IMMACULATE! After arriving to the dealership, everyone was extremely friendly and they made the buying experience quick & easy. I recently wrote an excellent review for Cronin Buick, and what truly made me appreciate the great experience Ive had there is comparing it to the TERRIBLE experience I had with Thayer Ford Nissan.Ive literally never had service so bad. Several years ago, I purchased a brand new vehicle from them - and had nothing but problems with it from the get go. EVERY SINGLE TIME they could not be bothered and WOULD NOT help. Steve, their service department manager needs to be fired. He is rude, condescending and does not care about customer satisfaction. In fact, after having their department work on my car, it was returned to me dirty on the interior and had a dent in the exterior that was not there before I dropped it off. They denied it all.I repeatedly tried to get in touch with managers to share my experience and was continually bounced from one person to the next - Each time, none would take responsibility for helping nor cared to.The only staff who I ever encountered who seemed to care about their customers were the receptionists - Who graciously provided me with a contact to the owner, a Robert London.I sent Mr. London a detailed email expressing the poor service I received - and big shock - Never received a reply. Its been over a year. Still no reply. He too, clearly does not care about his customers.I continue to receive both phone and mail solicitations from them, and have repeatedly contacted them to demand removal of my name from their sales and marketing and they refuse to do this as well.Next stop is going to be a complaint with the BBB. BUYER BEWARE.

Absolutely awesome! Were from out of town, had some issues with the Ford truck and the service manager was more than happy to come out and check it. Turns out we had stopped to gas up at a Meijer store in Marion oh and the truck was chugging the gas at a high rate... He suggested that it may be the gas had water in it. We stopped and bought some heet and poured it in the tank and noticed the gas Gage didnt drop so fast and the mpg went up pretty quick. We were hauling a small trailer. Thanks Thayer!
My expedition broke down on 75 N headed from Florida to Michigan. I called Thayer and they said they couldn’t promise they would put me back on the road same day (it was about noon), but they could at least squeeze me in and run diagnostics to see the problem. Which I was more than happy about. Well about 3 hours later, the expedition had a replaced throttle body and I was back on the road same day!! Very nice people here. Service even stayed a few minutes late to get the job done. I really appreciate it guys and I would recommend anyone to go here!

Came to the service department to diagnose a noise on my wifes vehicle. The shop foreman rode with us to hear the sound. He saved us money by riding along and telling us that the sound is nothing serious. We appreciated his discretion and his ability to level with us. We are happy we didnt get ripped off.

My family and I have been Thayer Ford customers for years now and have bought several cars through them. Recently I went to have my 2014 Ford Focus serviced for an oil change and to have it checked for recalls. After they checked everything out, they did in fact find a recall on my transmission system and told me Ford would be paying for it to be fixed but that I would have to wait until parts were in because they were on back order. (Which I can understand because of how many Focuses had recalls) They also proceeded to tell me that my brakes and rotors needed replaced and quoted me for almost $700!! I knew I could get them done cheaper elsewhere so I told them I wouldnt be needing my brakes done and to just call me when the parts were in for my recall. Not even 10 minutes after leaving the dealership they call me back to tell me that my cars clutch was no longer under warranty and in order to get my recall done I would have to pay $1300!!!! I asked them if their was anything they could do to help me out and they only offered a payment plan. Something seemed kinda off to me so I went to my local mechanic for advice. He looked up my vin number and found that there was an extended warranty on my vehicle. He called Reineke Ford in Findlay, Ohio and they told him all I had to do was pay an 81 dollar fee to get my car in to diagnose the issue and later be reimbursed that fee after the recall is fixed. Needless to say I will never be taking my car here again and you lost a loyal customer.

Im from out of town. My F250 was hit from behind and was no longer driveable. I called the dealership. The service consultant listened to my issues, then passed that on to their sales manager Trevor Newby. Trevor helped me out of a real predicament. Top notch. Trevor and the staff were incredible. Took my truck here because I was having trouble with my transmission and my air conditioning. Had an appointment that I made for 9am. After hurrying to get my truck there I hadnt heard from them so I called around 3:40 that day and they had not even taken my truck in yet after having it for over 6hrs. When I finally was able to get my truck they couldnt resolve the issue with the truck and never even looked at my air conditioning. They said they would have their transmission mechanic call me the next day to explain the situation with my truck but I never received a call either. Have had several issues with the past as well with explanation of work and costs.

Left my car with them for 3 days to get the power steering lines replaced least to say that did not happen... What did happen was they left the old pressure lines on and took the mounts off wich allowed them to rattle around freely and hit the motor the return lines that they did replace was done in such a manner that i am in disbelief they didnt break untill 2 weeks after they did the work. I was charged for all lines to be replaced including $108 dollars for the return lines which can be bought at any auto parts store for 2.50 a foot the plastic T connectors failed while i was on the interstate. They reimbursed me for the pressure lines and some of the labor but that doesnt cover my time and the fact i have to now have it towed to midas to have the work they did redone. It was probably one guy that ripped me off but it was the whole shop that lost my business, trust and respect for to have this many problems for such a simple job is ridiculous.

What a joke of a dealership dealing on a 2017 f250 on 11/29/19 talk to them 2or3 time friday, call me back on Saturday and they gave me some numbers and I counted offer them and they call me back and said they sold it to someone else .what BS that is Never to buy a vehicle from them

We leased a new Ford Explorer from Kraig Stearns. We also met the new car manager, Jim Bankey, who made us feel right at home. Kraig made the whole experience fun and made sure he went over all of the new fancy options and electronics...I have never owned such a nice vehicle and I am very glad we chose Thayer Ford! Then we met Amy Kory, in finance. She was fun, made it very easy and we never felt pressured or rushed. After we signed everything, she gave me a handmade keychain she makes for all of her customers! What a nice touch and special way to personalize my new set of keys!! We live in maumee and it was worth the short drive to Bowling Green. We will be customers for life and refer many more!
