I took my car in because it was making a loud sound the guy tried telling me I needed two wheel bearings replaced I told him to only do one because the other one had previously been changed. I got charged $450 when a wheel bearing costs less than $200 and they fixed it in less than half an hour. I got ripped off to say the least.

Came in with an issue with my car and they were able to fix it right away and didn’t charge me to fix the issue. If you’re in the area definitely stop in and have these guys take a look at your car. Thanks

I cannot recommend them enough! The very first time I ever encountered them I was in a bind with a major issue with my car. They let me know that likely my car was under warranty due what part it was and that it would be covered at the dealership. In fact, it was. They were kind enough to let me know that instead of getting a seven hundred dollar job out of me. Now I take my car to them for everything and always will. I’m so glad I found them!

Ive been taking vehicles to Sockman for many years and am very happy with the service and value. I took a car in that was running very rough, not sure what to expect. They found that it was just a sensor that needed to be reset. They took care of it at no charge.

This place is AWESOME. The mechanics are certified and well experienced. The prices are reasonable and they do not try to rip you off or up sale. The lobby is clean. The shop always looks in order and professional. One of the best Ive seen.

Best mechanic for domestic cars in town

Slid into a curb during a snow storm on work trip and these guys had me up and running in a day, thats about all they did that was good. After inspecting their work they did not use OE parts or a outer tie rod that was even for my car forcing me to have the work done again.

I called in to see if they were available but they were booked up unfortunately. Even still, they told me to bring it over and hes check my fluids real quick (since I know nothing about cars) and ended up helping me diagnose the problem.Good guys here and if I have time in the future I will definitely be taking my car to them.

Very friendly fast service. They dont try to scam you out of your money. I had a transmission problem they were willing to fix but advised me against it due to the age and miles on the vehicle. Very honest and upfront. Will deffinetly be going back.

I really love this place. Im originally from Michigan and I am going to school at BGSU. Whenever I have car problems, i go to them and they really do care about the customer. They were always very honest and upfront with me, and never tried to cheat me out of anything. They even fixed some things for no charge at all at times! This is a great, family run place to go to get your car fixed. They are very friendly and will always be the most caring for your car.

I have always went to these guys for oil changes and they are cheap. Recently my wife’s car was making a noise. Took it to sockman. They fixed it in 1 minute and didn’t charge me. They could have said it was anything and I would have believed them. Honest people that have made me a customer as long as I live in Bowling Green.
