These guys were awesome with my wifes car for interior cleaning. Turnaround was a little later than expected but I know they were being thorough. Front desk chatted with me at length and kept me entertained since I planned on driving that car back. Terrific job with all that was possible in her car at the time. Gave me good quotes for exterior parts and other services. Definitely glad to support a small business like this.

I called today over the holiday weekend and to my surprise someone picked up. I needed to get my headlight fixed and even though they were closed they still told me to come in so I didnt get pulled over because of my headlight. Very kind, overly polite and very quick! I would recommend to anyone. Nick was a very nice guy so glad I found this place! Also great prices !!!

Fortney Auto Center is the most affordable car and truck repair shop in Bowling Green, OH. The owner is personable and understanding. You wont have to worry about getting what you want or need repaired, they also do a great job at explaining things so you can understand whats needed immediately and what might or could wait until your next paycheck. A lot of cool services that others in town dont offer like there mobile repair service which means theyll actually come to you! Fortney Auto is also open on Sunday, yes I said Sunday. I contacted this auto center when my daughters car at school wouldnt start. I had a good idea what the problem was but didnt know where to take it. The service provided was polite, professional, and fast. Nick made me comfortable from the first conversation. The cost for the repair was very reasonable.He even provided shuttle service so my daughter could pick up the car.

I am very happy with my experience here. My car was fixed quickly and the service was great. The student discount was definitely a bonus, but the prices were good even before it. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing service done on my car. Other places wanted to charge me a fortune and wouldn’t have been as friendly. The price was right and the service was great! Thankful for such an amazing place. I’m clueless about cars and while away at school I needdd my car worked on. Nick was great at explaining the problems to me and my parents, who are two hours away. And he even provided free cabs while I didn’t have my car. Such a great guy!

The owner, Nick, explained everything in detail to me and was not at all condescending (which unfortunately happens to me often other places). He did a test drive with me so I could point out the issues I heard, and showed me my old parts afterward to point out why they needed replaced. I felt totally comfortable and never felt like I was getting over charged or talked into any unnecessary fixes. I really appreciated the shuttle service too! I have been going to Nick since shortly after he opened and have always found him to be honest and knowledgeable. He offers different options and prices and presents them in order of importance so customers can decide what they want to repair first. He will search the internet to obtain the best prices on parts and I have never been talked into getting a repair I didnt need.

Nick was great. Our son was visiting friends at BGSU and his car would not start on a Saturday. We live 3 hours away so we needed his car fixed the same day so he could drive it home. We worked everything out over the phone. Nick arranged towing and had our son back on the road 3 hours later. Nick gave us a fair price and completed the repairs when he said he would.

GO TO FORTNEY AUTOMOTIVE BEFORE ANY PLACE ELSE! EXTREMELY affordable. The first service I had there saved me almost $800 compared to the dealer quote. Very professional and personable service. He tells you what is needed immediately and what needs done in the near future. He gave me a quote but then he charged me less on the bill because he got the repair done faster than anticipated! No other mechanic I have ever used has been so honest.

Finally a mechanic you can trust! I used to only have my father work on my car. However, distance has become unfeasible. Fortney Auto is priceless peace of mind! They have helped me out (affordably) many times! They will even schedule a pick up for your vehicle!

Best auto shop in BG! Nick provides professional and courteous service. He replaced a bad wheel bearing on my Jeep, the same day I dropped it off. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

My daughter had a brake warning light come on today and of course I am no where near BGSU to help. Long story short Nick at Fortney Automotive was very understanding of my concern as a Dad back in Cleveland. He got her in within 30 minutes of my call. Showed my daughter what was wrong and got the brakes fixed and back on the road that afternoon at a fair price as well. So if your kids have any car issues I highly recommend them its only 1 mile away from campus at BGSU.
