I was in from out of town visiting my parents and unfortunately my vehicle was hit by my father’s car (even though he has a backup camera, side view mirrors, and audible collision sensors). We came to Thayer Body Shop for an estimate where we met Mike and Rochelle. The estimation process was painless, and Rochelle even buffed out a scrape that occurred from a prior incident. Since I was going to be in town for a couple of weeks, I decided to get my car fixed here as well.The body work was AMAZING, not only did they do an excellent job repairing all the damage, the inside of my car was detailed. It was totally unexpected. Everything was spotless, vents, radio button crevices, windows (inside and out), you get the picture.Thayer Body Shop made this experience that COULD be full of stress, stress free for me and my father. If Dad ever hits my car again while I’m in town, I’ll without a doubt take my car to Thayer Body Shop again.A special shout out to Mike and Rochelle. They are great people and did an excellent job representing the Thayer business. Disclaimer, I didnt know anyone there prior to this incident, they are just genuinely nice people.I’ve since forgiven my father for hitting my car.

What a fantastic experience! First off Andrew was very professional and kept me informed throughout the entire process. My truck, 2007 Nissan Titan, came back to me looking brand new again. Was even done sooner then expected. Thank you to Andrew and the entire Thayer Body Shop staff.

Car was never washed after repairs were completed. The interior had dust on everything. The rear view mirror still had num bers painted on it. The car should look new when they said it was done. Definitely will think twice before returning for insurance or any kind of work.

The work done was very good, it looked like nothing had happened in thefirst place. Andrew, a body shop manager, took great care to make sure I was satisfied with the end result. I appreciated that.

It was a very disappointing experience. We were told the repair would be completed in four days. We were asked to bring in the car early in the morning so work could begin right away. By early afternoon, when I paid for the repair, the car still was in the lot in the same place where I parked it.We were promised that Thayer would make it happen in four days. It didnt happen. We didnt get the car until day five.Being misled and inconvenience made this a regrettable experience.

Dont waste your time with this place, i took my vehicle here for a estimate and the mechanic never put it on a lift or looked under it or drove it. How can you accurately estimate a repair without finding out what is wrong? Was told they would have the repairs made in a single day when i arrived it was not completely done because they needed parts, had they done a better job with the estimate they would have had the parts on had. Wanted to charge me 3x the cost another mechanic quoted me to fix another issue they claimed to have found while fixing what was estimated, and they charged me 4x the cost for a RE MANUFACTURED part, the same part i could have bought from several reputable online stores NEW, and yes thats for parts ONLY!!! Labor was a whole separate joke. Do not waste time here the shop man Kelly thinks he can fast talk someone and pull a fast one. Lesson learned will never utilize this place again. Only gets 1 star because i cant leave ZERO what they deserve.
