As I was driving home, it began to rain mixed with snow. My windshield wipers were frayed and wasnt wipe the snow-mix off. I couldnt see clearly and was a little concerned. The very next day I stooped at Advance Auto Parts. I went in and told him that I needed a windshield blade. He read off his list of cost and their performance after I asked which kind should I get. Some were costly and others werent. Once I decided and purchased it, yes, you can buy 1 at a time, I asked how do you put it on? He volunteered to put it on at no additional cost. He had me drive to the curb and removed the old one and put on the new. He instructed me to turn it on, spray windshield water on the glass, and I was done. I offered a monetary gift for his service, but he refused. I told himGod Bless You, and drove away. I was so 😌 relieved.This wasnt the first time. A lightbulb replacement, suggestion of a radiator, and other things. As a person who knows little about parts, these people know their business. Great place to get help when you dont need to go to a mechanic.

Generally pretty happy with the stock and service. I like the quality brand parts over some of the off brands the others have. Service is usually good and prices are always decent.

I bought a car battery from this place 2 years and 10 month ago. It carries a three year warranty. Over the last 3 days the battery would die over night and needed charging or a jump. One would think that this is a sign that the battery is going down. Upon inspection the terminals were oozing, and the battery was warped. I called Advance-Auto and was called the battery is under warranty and would be replaced without additional cost. I brought the battery back and Marshall the manager I suppose, hooked it up to his battery tester and it showed it was good and told me it must be my car. Really?? What do you expect the battery to be after I charged it for 12 hours??? Just wait until tomorrow morning and it will be dead again. He was rude, not helpful at all, he just turned around, walked away and let his employee handle the situation. He denied me the warranty that the battery carries. A guy that works there should understand cars and support his customers. Needles to say, I will not be back there.Addendum note: I purchased a new battery. The car is now starting without any problems. So, Marshall, it was NOT the car!!

It was not very pleasant. The female clerk directed me to wall to fine an air filter for my vehicle and it did not appear to be on the wall. When I told her I could not find it she did not bother to come and look for herself since her computer said they were 2 in stock. A left frustrated without purchasing anything. This is the 1st time I had a poor experience at Advance Auto part.

This place has cool folks who will help you out if you need it. Just keep in mind that their entire inventory is online, so you can go in knowing what you want right away. I think you can even order stuff for pickup.

As far as auto parts stores go this place is good. Staff is always helpfull and courteous. Never had a problem having to order something they did not have in stock.

This would be an alright auto parts store if you didnt have to wait behind 30 people every time you go in... doesnt matter what day of the week, what hour, or what time of the year, it is a guarantee that you will be in there at least 30-45 minutes, mostly spent waiting in line. they seem like nice folks, and they generally have the parts and stuff I need, but I just cant stand using up all my time set aside for car repair, waiting in line just to buy something.

Jesus Christ where do I even begin? Well lets start out front of the store, where people are encouraged to park their car in the FIRE LANE to have their car worked on. The road here is about three cars wide, so that closes of one car length. Then, on the other side of the road Advance will park their company cars near the curb (all their cars are white, you see the staff driving them frequently). So this 3-car wide road has been reduced to a single-lane two-way traffic road. Good going you f***ing idiots. As if Bowie drivers arent horrible enough at driving youve turned this parking lot road into an obstacle course.Also out front you will find the employees taking smoke breaks which would be totally fine. Except that some of their employees are lechers and will hit on every single female who walks by.Well, lets head in the store. Mostly basic car stuff here, everything seems to be organized fairly well. So lets grab some oil and head to the check out. Hope you have something to pass the time because youre gonna be waiting a long f***ing time. Even if theres only one person in front of you. Usually only one register is open at a time and the cashiers are all incredibly rude. Scowling, eye rolling, snippy remarks. F*** all the cashiers here.There is one single employee who works there who is actually a decent human being. Hes been there as long as Ive seen this store open. Middle aged guy, beard, glasses. Im so sorry that he is stuck here. He is incredibly friendly and really know everything about cars. I really hope he finds a better path in life than working at Advance with all the human scum that resides at this store.I know this is the only auto parts store in the area but I promise you it will be worth your time to drive outside of town to find another store.
