I hope I am as happy when I get my glasses as I am with the initial experience here. My first time at Visionworks, and from the front end staff to the doctor, was very impressed! Everyone was nice, I wasnt rushed to pick the frames, and the price was decent. Really liked doctor Cavender, and I thought my exam was quite thorough. Hopefully my glasses (2weeks to get them in) will be perfect as well. Id recommend this store!

Got there 9 minutes after our appointment time and was told we had to leave and reschedule the appointment. There apparently is a 10 minute grace period and we got there right at that mark so we had to reschedule. The associated didn’t care that we got stuck by a train. What a waste of time. Will never be back.

My first experience with Visionworks a couple years ago was great. I liked the Doctor, the staff was friendly, and they helped me pick out glasses Im still happy with! But its two years later and I need an eye exam. When I made the appointment I specifically asked if there would be any charge beyond what my insurance would cover. I was told my insurance would cover the exam as well as an amount toward new glasses. When I got to my appointment I was told it would be $19.00 beyond what insurance would cover. Ill be honest, COVID has ravaged my already strained budget. I could have scraped together the money but to be honest I dont trust Visionworks now. What if I pay the $19 and theres additional charges after that? Im simply not willing to go any further with them.

The ease of making an appointment was nice and we were able to get in quickly. However, after about five minutes of interaction with the staff, we had to walk out. Giving out false information to try to upsell their retinal imaging over normal dilations is poor practice. Insurances do not cover retinal imaging so its extra out of pocket costs for people. There is no reason that a contacts exam cannot be done with dilations. Having an untrained associate making assumptions and being rude doesnt help matters.

Called to see about bringing glasses in for an adjustment, had a lecture about their liability. Fine I get it you arent responsible. Sitting in their parking lot and they have not a soul inside, however they have no appointments available. Hmmm mmm I happen to have been sitting here for 20 minutes or more while eating my lunch. Would not recommend due to staff.

I cant ever win it seems with this company. First safety glasses were too heavy due to my lenses then I had them do an exchange but they sent the frames and lenses out to get redone rather than make lenses for the new frames I picked out.

I love this place. It is clean, organized, and has wonderful selection. There are times I feel I am an inconvenience with the ladies at the front. There’s always at least one that makes me feel rushed and/or insignificant. It has made me debate switching eye care selections. I only return because the doctor is the best I have ever had. She is very professional. I never feel rushed or pressured to “get out”—even with the new covid procedures in place. But I am not at all impressed with the service from some of the ladies at the front. There are some that are fantastic but the ones that are rude really push me away from this business. It is unprofessional and disrespectful to customers and should be addressed.

Made appointment For my son a month ago came in today lady at the front counter blonde with glasses heavy set was the most ignorant and rude person Ive ever common contact. Straight up told me a lie to my face stating that my wife had called and canceled my sons appointment when clearly they couldnt have you made the appointment correctly the 1st time around. Take your business elsewhere were itll actually be appreciated

I went in to check it out and ask questions and one lady was somewhat rude and I felt I was an in convenience to her then she pushed me off to someone else and she was very helpful and nice. Had it not been for her I would have told the other lady sorry to have bothered you and went someplace else. She was nice to the person spending money but since I was just asking questions I was treated very differently. Not very good customer service.

My frustration with the store is that they do not answer their phone. According to their business posting on Facebook they opened at 10:00 a.m. this morning. It is now 10 minutes after 10. I have called several times and the phone switches straight over to a recording that says this store isnt open. There is no way to get ahold of them to schedule a pick up for my glasses. Ive tried the online version of that and its a week before I can get in to pick up my glasses. I find that hard to believe, it doesnt take that long to pick up glasses. If their hours are different and they dont really open at 10:00 a.m. They need to change their Facebook hours to reflect it.Someone at the store finally answered the phone at about 11:10am. They are open on Saturday from 11-6. I suggested an edit to the time on Facebook.

Calling the company to schedule as new patients showed the receptionist politeness. They were able to work with my college schedule very well. However, on my way to my appointment I had happened to go to the wrong place and so I decided to call and say I was about 3 minutes away (on the same street as office). My appointment was at 4 and I called at 4:03. When talking to the lady who had answered, she was extremely rude and declined my appointment and said we would have to reschedule. I ended up showing up at 4:07 and thought maybe she didnt realize how close I was. I walked in the building and the lady at the desk starting checking me and my sister in when the lady behind her refused service to me and my sister both because the doctor was leaving at 5:00 and still had to see 2 other patients. I asked if they had a 10 minute rule like most doctors off and she stated, yes, but the doctor only has time for one of you now. And I said I dont understand it hasnt been 10 minutes and then she stated they dont have a ten minute rule after she just said she did, and after refusing both me and my sister, she said she would only accept one. She had attitude the whole time she was talking and I dont understand why the receptionist was checking us in and didnt say anything about not taking us. Nobody was in the office waiting so I dont understand why we couldnt be seen but by the attitude she had it made me not want to be seen anyways. I will not be going back.
