Im very upset with what happened today due to a workers lack of care and customer service, I put items on hold that are very hard to find that party city gets seasonally just to drive an hour there to be told the previous person who had walked out took my items on hold. The workers exact words were someone came in saying they had them on hold so I gave it to them because they had it on hold however i told them over the phone to ask for ID before purchase to ensure nobody can steal my hold of items. It was a specific older woman who had a bad attitude and outright did not care i drove an HOUR just to find out it was for absolutely nothing. Im extremely upset and would love to get ahold of corporate on the matter, it is unacceptable for a customer to drive an hour away for an employer to be careless! I wasted my time and gas. Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE

Perhaps this is the best party city ever, but compared to other similar stores, it’s a little depressing. Everything is a little untidy, and it’s a weird checkout experience. You could be second in line and still wait for quite a bit of time before you check out.

Went to this Party City today and the girls working there were rude and inconsiderate. It’s pouring down raining outside and they didn’t even suggest a balloon bag for my balloons. They also told me I had wait an hour for my balloons upon ordering, however, when another lady came in after us, they began preparing her order right away.

My son loves the chocolate gold coins that they carry. I ended up picking up a couple more things that he would enjoy. Fun place to shop and they are keeping everything covid clean.

My sister had called to put some items on hold that are very hard to get and specifically told the employee to check for ID when picking up the items on hold and the employee said they would. She drove an hour to find out someone else took her items on hold. Ridiculous.

Rudest group of employees i have ever dealt with and the store manager is no exception to this. She was ruder than the other employees.

Great place for all your Decorations

The employees were friendly and greeted me. I purchased a few things for my husbands 60th birthday.

Not much in Halloween.

Staff was pretty rude and unwilling to help me. They have a great variety of stuff but they do the EXACT minimum theyre required to do. Things were blocked off in the store and it was an unfriendly environment.

Prices were great and customer service was top notch. Cashier was pleasant and thanked me for my business and advised me of policy of no.returns on Halloween costumes. I will return with my business.

Went to the store at 5pm yesterday. It looked as if I was the only customer in the store. If there were employees present they were having too much fun to see me standing at the counter waiting to check out. I left the contents on the counter and went to Kohls for my gift supplies instead. Was not a happy customer.

Its a good place to go when you need party decorations.

Love the products in the store. The customer service not so much. They are rude and greedy. I wont be spending my money here with such rude service.

Great variety.

Came here to get party decorations and supplies for the superbowl party at the bar I work at and I was a little disappointed with how much they were out of, or just didnt have at all. We made it work, but I was expecting a little more variety. Maybe next time

I went into the bourbonnais location yesterday. I was very upset with how the staff handle a situation. I was in there shopping just like all other customers. A lady walks in and was on the phone talking very laud. She was so rude she was trying to cut 10 plus people in line. She then got angry when a worker told her she needed to get in line. She was using horrible language. Saying the f bumb every other word. Starting problems with another customer. Remind you that there were younger kids around while she was using such awful language. I was very upset on how the staff just let this go on for 20 plus minutes.

Got the Halloween costumes we were looking for

So I tried to order ballons yesterday and they said there was a hellium shortage and that I needed to come in on the day. They said it would just take a few minutes. Today I am here and I have been waiting almost 30 minutes for the lady to blow up 12 ballons. There are 3 others behind the counter but she is waiting on other people depite being half way through my order. Arg! Worst service ever!

They have a lot of stuff, but the pricing is IMO high. However, maybe this is due to never shopping on a budget. The store itself could be more organized.

Nice understanding staff. They want to help you out.
