Dr. Joshua Luekenga, Au.D. meets those criteria at the Utah Ear Institute. When I go for an appointment, I feel like I am the only patient in the office because of the personalized service I receive. He has answered every question Ive had and then he goes the extra mile when servicing my hearing devices. You will find the office staff and atmosphere always friendly and helpful.

I was hesitant in the decision of getting hearing aids, but sort of pushed by children I did go to the Hearing & Balance office in Bountiful. I was truly amazed at the difference in my hearing. My daughter was impressed and surprised also. I have had such wonderful help and care under Dr. Josh, I cant think how it could be improved, (unless he could magically restore my own ears to hear as they once did. :-) The main complaint by many is hearing background noise magnified as well, and I do have that, but in exchange for hearing conversation in my family, with my friends and at church it is an easy thing to put up with. I also enjoy using my smart phone to make the changes of sound louder or softer. I am very old but a very old pleased person...

My tinnitus was so bad that it was severely affecting my daily life. The Hearing & Balance Doctors hooked me up with some hearing instruments that make it very easy to manage. In fact, I dont realize how much they help until I take them off at night! Thank you for helping me restore my sanity!

Theres not enough space in this post to accurately convey my appreciation for Doctors Luekenga and Cook, both Doctors of Audiology. As a hearing-impaired veteran, I was accustomed to receiving free hearing aids from the Veterans Administration. Sometimes top of the line and sometimes squealing ear plugs that drove me crazy. Getting an appointment from the helpful VA audiologists sometimes took months to get because of their busy workload. Not so, with Utah Ear Institute. Instead of free hearing aids, I purchased Phonak Virto V 70 hearing aids from Dr. Leukenga and have never been more pleased. For the first three months, I was invited to return for adjustments and counseling every couple of weeks. Now that Im used to these instruments, I am scheduled once a quarter. The care and compassion from the two mentioned doctors are worth the personal expense of buying my own hearing aids and receiving an immediate response to problems encountered. If you have a hearing or balance problem, I highly recommend Utah Ear Institute. You wont be disappointed. Im not!

Dr. Luekenga is fantastic. I have a son that is 4 years old and in early intervention for speech. I have had to have his hearing tested multiple times in the past couple years. We went to Dr. Luekenga and he and his staff worked so well with him. He is usually a little reserved but was approached with a smile and excitement to really make him feel more comfortable. The times my son remained shy and reserved Dr. Luekenga was patient and let me sit in the testing room with him. I would highly recommend Dr. Luekenga to all my friends and family.
