This is my favorite place to have tire work done. When Ive made appointments here, theyve been prompt at getting my vehicle in and getting the work done in a reasonable amount of time (average for me has been about 40 minutes to mount & balance 4 tires). Their prices are generally on par with Tire Rack for the tires Ive bought (3 sets through this location so far). They also do a good job with balancing, which Im particularly sensitive to if not done precisely.The only reason I dont give them 5 stars is they consistently overinflate tires by 5psi over what the door placard says. It seems to be a policy to overinflate them at this location, since its occurred every time I visit. I always spend about 5 minutes after getting work done deflating them back to the correct pressure. Hopefully management will correct this in the future.Overall, theyre great - would be perfect in my book, if they just inflated tires correctly.

Extremely satisfied with their service. Came in for a flat tire repair. They told me it would be free as long as they could fix it safely. They were able to do it was completely free!! Everyone was nice and helpful and they didnt try to upsell me on anything. Definitely will be back for future tire needs

Im consistently impressed with the professionalism and service provided by Discount Tires in Bountiful. Ive bought tires here and had a few flat repairs done on tires of all sizes. Yesterday they fixed a slow leak that two other shops couldnt find.10 out of 10 would recommend!

They have Great policies on repairing or replacing tires if they don’t last, their prices are fair, and their staff is professional and kind.They have automated text messages to update you when your car is being worked on, and when it’s finished. I loved that and thought it was super convenient.

I was told I would get a discount for ordering on line. Didnt happen. Couldnt even get hold of an online agent. Their website and web service is pretty poor. They clearly dont have enough on line people to really chat with you. Hopefully their tire mounting and balancing service is better than their on line service.!!!!

Discount Tire in Bountiful is a great place to buy tires. I’ve always had a great experience here. Antonio helped me buy 4 new tires and he was so friendly, genuine, pleasant and went out of his way to be helpful even though they were busy. It’s rare to see that kind of service.

Honestly by far one of the best experiences buying tires ever..We got checked in quickly even though we were a bit early for our appointment, we left thinking it would be a while until our tires were done but almost had to turn right around because they were done so Fast. The best part was our customer service experience with Duncan ( I believe that was his name). He was great!!

Great staff, great help, great location!I had a spur of the moment flat tire at work and was left without any fitting tire iron to switch to my spare, a quick call to this store and Johnny answered the phone very energetic and excited to help. After speaking with him I was able to fill my tire temporarily long enough to drive to this location and they fixed my tire, rebalanced them, and rotated them all complementary and had me on my way under an hour even with huge lines!!! I do wish the mask policy was enforced more heavily but with the social distanced chairs and signs it wasn’t much of an issue. My only real complaint is this location isn’t closer to where I live!

The line out the door, the parking lot in juggle stage all the bays full and fully staffed and they still came through.Brought a jack out to where they had me park my car to get my tire to fix it, even though they are way overbooked. Lots of walk-ins with immediate issues. 5 stars!!

Made an appointment at 4:15 for a tire repair. When I show up, they ask if I was leaving the vehicle. I said I was waiting at which point the told me it would be at least a couple of hours. Why make an appointment if they are telling you it is going to be a couple hours. Been a long time customer. They have gone down hill. Maybe time for someone else to take my money.

I have been a customer of the Bountiful Discount Tire for over 12 years. They have long been my preferred tire provider. I stopped by today to get a new set of tires. My current tires lasted less than half the manufacturers tread wear warranty. Discount proceeded to try to dupe me and low balled the tread wear warranty by half of what it should have been. When I questioned this, they insisted they calculated it correctly. Upon calling a different store, I was informed that the Bountiful store had calculated the warranty amount incorrectly. Needless to say, I will not be returning to the Bountiful location. The Layton store is now my preferred store.In addition, I had a screw in my tread and a leaking tire. The sales guy said they would not patch the tire. They did not have any tires in stock to replace my current tires, wouldn’t fix my flat and sent me home with a leaking tire. I had to drive home and plug the tire myself so that my car could be used until I could get new tires.Very disappointing service!

I had an appointment checked in online and by the time the associate checked me in I was 5 minutes late and arrogantly informed I would have to wait an additional 40 minutes for his next appointment. What’s the point of having an appointment if they do not honor them.

Guess Discount tire doesnt believe in the pandemic anymore and doesnt enforce mask wearing despite the sign on the door stating otherwise. Im in the waiting area with 4 other people and not one of them is wearing a mask. Disappointing. Definitely made me extremely uncomfortable to be here.

I’ve been a Discount Tire customer for many years and many vehicles. I recently went to the bountiful or Woods Cross store, whichever, for new tires. They didn’t have my size but said they were available locally and would have them the next day and would call me when they came in so I could come and get them installed. It’s been a week and I have never heard from them so guess what, I went and got tires somewhere else and, saved almost 100 bucks so I really shouldn’t complain I guess.

Just had a great experience with Discount Tire in Bountiful. The service I received from Antonio, in particular, was excellent. He helped me successfully process a Michelin warranty claim after Costco was unwilling to do so. They took care of me quickly and efficiently.

They definitely helped turn a Monday morning around!! Got my tire fixed, set up an appointment to get a new set put one- easily with a payment plan- all under 10 mins- thank you very much!!

I had a mishap with a nail that required a new tire. The tire I needed wasnt in stock, so they ordered it from another location for me and told me that it would be close to closing, but they would get it done.While I was waiting and closing time creeped ever closer, I couldnt help but notice that although customers came in closer to close, the kindness and understanding of the staff remained constant. One customer, upon realizing that they would be working past close on his vehicle, asked, why did you take my car in?The gentleman at the desk just smiled, and said that it was no problem at all. I was impressed with how much they care for thier customers even when they could be on the way home. These guys worked past closing time without question so that my wife and several others would have safe cars to drive.My tire arrived several seconds before closing time, and Scott had me back on the road shortly after. Ive never had a better experience on a bad day, thank you for your help!

These guys are fantastic. I was a fairly loyal Costco guy but I don’t see myself returning there with the service I get from Discount. They have gone above and beyond multiple times for me. Their service is fast, pricing fair and when you have a problem they seem to try really hard to help even when it has nothing to do with them. They even found a way to fix a tire problem I had on a motor home with a tire they didn’t put on in an urgent situation.

I have been to this location a number of times. The employees are courteous and great to work with, however I have had two situations where I set up an appointment and have been skipped over by people with later appointments. Today I had an appointment at 12:15 and was waiting 45 min to see someone with an appointment at 1:00 go straight into the bay while my car hadn’t been touched yet. This has happened to me twice at this location believe it or not. My services weren’t discounted (though I didn’t ask for them to be) and I’m just left frustrated. Few things are more infuriating.

Bountiful Discount Tire is my go to tire store. This is my third set of tires Ive purchased from them. I set up an appointment a few days prior, and they needed to order the tire I wanted. When I arrived the tires had not been ordered, but they ungraded the tire at no extra charge. The staff is friendly and helpful, and their service time is fairly quick for being such a busy store.

I got a flat tire in Bountiful so I limped the car over to this Discount Tire location. Ive never been to this one but I been to the one in Saratoga springs and Riverton plenty of times and theyve always treated me well. So I hoped these guys would do the same. And just my luck, the puncture was too close to the sidewall and couldnt be repaired. I let them know that I would probably go ahead and purchase two new tires since they were pretty worn. So they could have very well just sold me two new tires and called it a day. However, as I was quickly looking on my phone at their website to see which tires to get, they looked up the car in their system (which I had recently purchased used) and found that the previous owner had gotten the tires from Discount tire and had purchased the hazard protection on the them. And that it was transferable. I had no idea. So they went ahead and replaced the tire for free. That was crazy honest. My experiences with other Discount Tire locations have been similar. You can tell that the corporate culture of this company is honesty and integrity. I probably wont be visiting the Bountiful location again because its not near where I live but if you live up that way, Id definitely recommend them.

I walked in with a low pressure tire light on. Landon, instantly walked from the counter and out to my car. He checked all four tires air pressure then had me park in front of the free air pressure station and quickly filled up all 4 of my tires with a digital machine. When I pointed out that 2 tube lids were missing he instantly got 2 lids and screwed them on for me. Great and fast service!

Giving a not entirely negative review because generally I have had good experience here, but that has been with older cars without TPMS. I now have a car with TPMS and their tech broke one of the TPMS sensors when swapping my winter tires onto my wheels and then they charged me pay for their techs mistake. I didnt have all day to argue with the manager about it or maybe he would have done the right thing. After this I dont really trust the shop, so if I do come back it will only be for pre-TPMS cars with old steel rims.

Im a Costco fan--cheaper. But I needed a tire right then and when I called, discount tire stayed open just for me. The service was excellent. When I bought my tires, the owner agreed to free rotations for the life of the tire--it doesnt hurt to ask! They now have my business. I will edit this review if I find the excellent service I received was just a fluke.

Great customer service and no nonsense pricing. We picked up, oddly enough, a stick that popped one of the back tires. It was in the sidewall so the tire had to be replaced. We decided that it was best to replace both of the back tires. The tires were under warranty so the flat was completely free and the second tire was deeply discounted because of the low mileage placed on the tire. We went to breakfast while the work was being done. When we returned, we were met at the door with our key. This is the kind of service that will keep me coming back with all my vehicles.

I have done business with them FOR YEARS but after the way I was just treated. Where the manager is too busy to talk to me. Screw you. No more will you get my money from myself or my wife. And I will tell EVERYONE to go to Burt Brothers instead. Jerks.

Once you have bought tires from discount they take care of you like youre a king. Theyll fix flats without charge. Rotate your tires without charge. Overall they are wonderful to work with.

I got 4 new tires for my sedan with a 70,000 mile warranty for under $250!!! They were very helpful and accommodating. They offered to match price on a different set of tires when they didnt have the ones I wanted in stock. Very nice and fast.
