If you are donating items, know that they only accept donations at certain times of the day and are not very helpful if you arrive outside of this time. (Call ahead to find out when they accept). The manager of the store was quite rude and unhelpful.I’ve visited other goodwill donation centers and was greeted with helpful and welcoming staff, so this is where I will go to donate my items.

Ive been to this store dozens of times, but this morning was the worst its been. Store opened late (10:05) because neither of the front doors would open correctly (Fire hazard) and then we were told we needed masks. Ive been there with my wife twice since the mandate was lifted, both times with no mask and was in a store with several others unmasked. So is it a store choice, or just based on the manager on duty? Seemed ostracizing the was we were addressed, especially since we are repeat customers. Regardless, when they get their policies and facilities in line, Ill consider returning... until then avoid it.

Terrible service. I showed up at 4:00 pm in the afternoon and the associates in the back tell me theyre closed. The website says youre open to 6:00. Maybe you should make sure your store hours are consistent with what you put on the website. Also, Im told donations are at a certain time. None of this is mentioned on the website. More importantly, the back area where they collect donations is littered with garbage and broken glass on the street. Youre just asking for flat tire if you go here, so I went out the other way instead. When people donate their stuff, it should never ever be a hassle!!

Not bad but not great. While there are some good deals some of their prices are way off. For example water shoes which you can get at Walmart for $8 dollars are sold used for $10. Or an old Keurig that looks dirty and rusty for $30. But to be fair there are some good deals as well like whole plate sets for $18.

I went to this store to make a donation at 4pm today and was told that you can only make donations between 10am and 2pm. Your website doesnt give the donation hours only that youre open until 6pm. When I called the store I was told that they wouldnt make an exception and that I could go to the store on Rte 22. When I asked if they could make an exception because I drove from Edison, the man abruptly hung up on me. I looked up the store on Rte 22 and it is closed. Such poor customer service.

Have donated tons of stuff - a ‘God send’ when cleaning out home. Often find broken items on the shelves for weeks at a time. Shelves are dirty and outside store need litter cleaned up. Prices on little tchotchkes are way too high but most items well priced. I enjoy stopping by and usually find Something. Why not a bargain bin for inexpensive items that aren’t moving- any $ better than nothing.

A medium sized Goodwill store that has a very large parking lot. It is in the Effinger Plaza. This store has a wide range of items clothes, dishes, toys, cds, dvds, small appliances, artwork, lamps and small furniture. They are tight on space and dont carry many large items. They have a drive up donation location on the side of building. Very clean store. Prices can be described as on the higher side. Some good deals can be found but it will take some looking. Thrift store prices are a result of it being more hip to shop thrift.

Attempting to donate brand new, still tagged clothing, we called to verify they would take our donation. They would in fact take them. We were told to drive around the side of the building to drop off donations. We arrived with our donations in boxes and the tax deduction slips with item descriptions, maker, size, color and quantities. All we required was their organization name, address, tax ID number and a value to be added by the organization. The employee had no idea what to do and called a manager outside. The manager was anything but happy or eager to accept our donation. She said they do not assign value to items nor do they fill out the paperwork that we had brought with us completed already other than the organizations tax ID, name, address and value of the items. They said they only offer a receipt of material voucher with no value attached for tax deductible purposes. With that she turned and walked away. So we had no choice but to load our donations up and leave. I would love to see people who work for this charity be happy that others want to help and only require a few minutes of time to remedy any situation that arises such as this. Better management of am sure would do the trick.

I went there yesterday Sunday. Tops are $5.99 and bottoms are $7.99. That’s expensive for Goodwill. Most goodwill stores are much cheaper. Clothes were garbage brands, nothing nice. Way too expensive for Goodwill. Green tags were 40% off but nothing had green tags on them. Long lines that took forever and no shopping bags. They had a large jar for $14.99, I could get brand new at home goods for cheaper. Won’t be going back there

If you ever feel like visiting Beverly Hills and shopping on Rodeo Drive, you can save the airfare and shop here. Coffee mugs? Two dollars to five dollars. Barbie dolls? I saw them for twenty dollars. I looked at a used bluetooth keypad (thats the number pad and the numlock key) and it was more money than I could buy a new one on amazon.com. We called three times over ten minutes before we got there to ask if their bathrooms were open yet (all the other Goodwill NYNJ locations are) and nobody answered any time. For the record, the bathrooms are still closed.

Store might be a favor for some people but not for me. Too ick for me and way too unorganized for me. Especially when a lot of the books was dirty or written on as well not that much inventory with the video games behind the glass. Too cheap quality for me too to the point a regular 99 cent store and even somewhere like Dollar Tree or Family Dollar would put it to shame.I guess thats what I get expecting it to be like the videos on YouTube.Sorry but I just had to make a review and again probably already a favor for some other people.

I found an item with no price tag in electronics. Brought it to employee for price check. They Brought it in back. Older lady came out yelling where is the box you took it out of the box! I explained there was never a box and almost none of the electronics at good will have a box. She ran around the store for a few more minutes frantically looking for the mysteriously disappearing box. Without another word stormed into the back after which a younger employee emerged with the item bearing a $50 price tag. I checked online and new items of this brand and model were selling for much less. The reaction seemed way out of place for something which should have been priced at about 5 bucks at any other thrift store and that the business had received as a feee donation. Wont be returning any time soon!

Maybe Goodwill should consider hiring employees who dont treat their customers like actual garbage, when someone asks for assistance and is told they CAN go behind the counter, dont storm up and blow up on the customer when you have two employees standing there allowing it. Needs better organization because you shouldnt be required to hang over the counter to see the dozens of items behind said counter. Horrible customer service from who ever said manager is, maybe you should train your employees better.

Horrible store. They sell things that are broken, and hide the broken parts with tape. Saw an item with an original price tag of $5. Goodwill was selling it for $10. DOUBLE the original price. Plus, there is only 1 sale color now. And the sale color is only 40%, not 50% anymore. They sell things in sets, but put the sets on different aisles and shelves. Good luck finding all the pieces. I was so excited when this store first opened, but its been a big disappointment. First of all, its obvious that all the Goodwill stores are skimming from what people are donating to them because the quality and selection is poor, not decent like it used to be. Second, Ive donated 3 trunkloads to this location and the workers only said thank you once! That was disturbing. Third, the prices are laughable, way too high for second hand items, and my all-time favorite is that Ive seen the staff take away clothing that was already tagged with the new 50% off colors when it was the first day that those colors were going on sale!!!! I wont waste my time stopping in or donating to such a greedy organization anymore...when good goes bad!

Prices should be marked way down for most of the use items.I also came across dirty used heels that were not in the best of shape for $10.Let’s chill out with the greed.I’m also speaking about the goodwill of 22 aswell.
