Best place in boulder if you are looking for excellent service and great products. I was l looking for oat milk and an associate by the name of natasha was very helpful.
While the prices are high, the quality of their food and products never disappoint. Would seriously recommend getting any of their breads, they always come out perfect. Store is always clean and food is always fresh.
Best bakery & pizza. Fantastic customer service and well stocked!
Good selection of quality foods. Very helpful staff. Really, really annoying that discounts only given to Amazon members.
The staff is great! The food is great!! The prices are expensive AF (as expected) but they lose a star for having what has to be the worst designed parking lot in the history of parking lots. For real though… ugh… i literally dread going here for the parking.
Not really bust but slow anyways. The store feels crowded and its designed for the convenience of able-bodied people.
Crowded and chaotic but their selection and variety was unbeatable.
Largest prepared foods in the states closed again. Terrible. Regularly there is no made to order food service open Sandwiches, salads, burrito and wok. Why have them? Pizza and hot bar don’t offer the same options.Highly disappointed as they’re closed at 5pm yet again
It was my first time in this location. Close to closing time and one of the employees was literally telling people to leave the shop, He was very rude. I told the cashier that he was rude, she just shrugged could care less. Definitely the worst experience I have ever had in a Whole Foods. I didn’t take the employees name the least I could do is give this experience 1 star. I normally love shopping at whole foods probably not this location.
Not all that long ago it was a real treat to get reasonably priced, thoughtfully prepared carry out here ... now its a harrowing stroll through a derelict lunch line with gouge level prices.
I go here for lunch only and before covid you couldnt beat it. Since covid they have shut down the hot bar and only serve pizza. But its awesome and always fresh at lunch time.
The Whole Foods on Pearl used to be my favorite store. Ever since the Amazon take over, the store hasnt been the same. And, now since the pandemic it is even worse! The slices of pizza look like they have been sitting there for days on end.The hot food that they are finally putting out again consists mostly of heavy duty carbs like mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese and fried chicken nuggets. It totally reminds me of the Country Buffet, NOT Whole Foods!I am so disappointed in this store now. It used to be high quality but unfortunately that is no longer true.
Best Grocery store In Town, even had time to read my book.. BUSTED WHEELIN N DEALIN
Even with all construction, organized and clean. Employees are super nice!
One of the staff members (Alyssa) at the coffee by La Colombe was very rude. Probably the worst service I have ever recieved anywhere.
Well this is a very large Whole Foods store location, I can find it difficult finding certain items in the store. Overall helpful employees when you need them and I enjoy the store experience.
Typical Whole foods, a bit overpriced and trendy, but getting to be more and more reliable. Great food court, again, pricey. Parking lot is tight with smaller spaces, so leave your RV at home. Place to go when you want to be seen in Boulder. Will return, but at less busy hours
The employees are friendly & the store seems to be well stocked but its more expensive then Im willing to pay.✌The parking lot seems congested quite often but the store is clean & tidy. This location seems to always be quite busy so it seems Boulder doesnt mind paying more for the same items that are less expensive elsewhere like example King Soopers.Click the LIKE icon please if you agree or like my review.... Thanks.✌😊
Generally a big fan of this location, despite the Whole Foods prices, however this most recent trip was a bit of a let down. Bought a green chili chicken burrito and it was literally nothing but rice and beans and astonishingly bland. For $7 it was quite the disappointment. Also bought a draft latte, that amounted to a third of a cup of liquid once the foam settled. Sadly, value to price ratio seems to be slipping here a bit.
I came here in search of a emergency Thanksgiving business casual shirt I needed for a job interview over Zoom... I thought I found something that might work! it was a flannel, but I was walking towards the register, I realized something tragic: it was a $90.00 FLANNEL!? So crazy... I mean, who in their right mind would ever pay that much for a basic flannel? I will say one positive thing, though. I got some yummy Gala apples for a pretty amazing price while I was in!
Very disappointing, in every way. The people who work there are really nice and that’s it. They have only small size latte and DO NOT have any medium or large size cups anymore “claiming” it’s a better quality coffee. After tasting it I wouldn’t say its worth it. If you want extra shot you now need to pay for it. The size of the cup and amount of shots was what got me to choose their coffee before, now there really isn’t a justification to get coffee there anymore.Peet’s Coffee is the best in town.
Its not my no 1 or even 2 choice for groceries. they do have fresh and good looking seafood selection but the price is mad.
Arguably, this is the best WFM in the whole US. Selection is fantastic and the shop definitely resembles WFM pre-Amazon.
Whole Foods advertises safe hours for seniors at the beginning of the day, but unfortunately, they have now allowed that time for their delivery shoppers, as well. So when I went in at 7:00 a.m., there were over a 100 people in the store, most of them young people, and only one other senior shopping. Everyone else were people who shouldnt be around high risk shoppers.
Store is layed out really well so it flows. Everyone respectful with keeping as far apart as possible.
Amazing coffee and great service. Good morning America!
You cant get smoothies anymore, for some reason you will get COVID if they still make smoothies to order. Lol, this corporation is a joke man. A bureaucratic hot mess!
Great place for good organic food.
Good stuff. So expensive.
I recently visited this Whole Foods location while I was on a business trip and I loved the store but I did notice the water/ice dispenser in the sit down area next to the restrooms was in need of immediate repair. The machine didnt look like it was cleaned in awhile due to the calcium buildup and the rotted wood underneath. The wood panels on the cabinet were falling off and the bottom section has exposed rusted nailes from where the panel has seperate from the cabinet.. Underneath the top damaged wood panel you could see a black discoloration which makes me believe its black mold. Its my recommendation that the machine and cabinet be replaced. Its a shame that such an incredible store has this eye sore at the front entrance.
The employee working the self-checkout lanes is extremely rude. The way she kept hovering over me and breathing down my neck was uncomfortable. If I hadnt been in a hurry to get my groceries home and in the fridge, I would have talked to a manager about her rude comments and behavior.
Bought their $7.50 burrito from the hot bar. Big disappointment. Green hatch vegetarian burrito. It was 95% rice and beans, maybe 4 thin slices of pepper. Completely flavorless. What a let down. Their hot bar has lost its quality.
Customers are rude when using the standard checkout lanes. I dont need a cart on my behind or a customer literally breathing on the back of my neck. Anyone shopping here I would advise using the self checkout in the future. And workers need to reinforce social distancing.
Its just heaven inside
Pretty great shopping here. Some shoppers were a bit rude, but I suppose we need to resocialize.
Always an adventure finding new goodies
WHOLE FOODS is incredibly clean, and they are working so hard on being SAFE!! Sweet, helpful employees!Beautiful, healthy food.Great choice Boulder for safe, healthy food!
Its a whole foods, pretty standard. The butchers here are great, they took custom orders and followed up with me and were pleasant to deal with.
During COVID19 times, WF is not a comfortable place to shop. Though they count people going in and out, its often quite crowded with people paying zero attention to distancing. I will also add that since they have so many personal shoppers who make the experience even more uncomfortable, Im looking at other stores now. So sick of the personal shoppers walking around looking at their phone, bumping into people and crowding the store. Ive been a WF shopper for over 20 years. I chose it because of the shopping experience, back then. Good lighting, nice, friendly staff, food is presented well, never too crowded. Thats all changed. I might as well go to a regular store and pay less. Amazon perhaps is to blame, I dont know. No longer my favorite, thats for sure.
So I am biased. I work in THIS Whole Foods. So do two of my kids. I love this store, the team, and the community in which we live. I feel heard and respected by leadership, we are working EXCEPTIONALLY HARD during these days of Covid to stay safe, healthy, and keep our team AND customers safe. Please give the store a chance, maintain your distance, wear a mask, and remember: we have families to keep safe too. Were in the business of SERVICE not SERVITUDE.
The Walmart of high end-grocery stores. Busy store, but safe and very friendly helpful staff.
Good store but always crowded and the parking lot sucks
Miss the old WFM. Seems to be a bunch of shoppers filling delivery orders everywhere..staring at their phones. All packaged stuff piled high. Sigh.
Prompt and courteous service!
I m p r e s s e d. Much is of the highest quality. Thought some items were way expensive but most items were little high for the great food. Produce was very good. Meat market was exceptional with great selections.
Its got what you need, currently under a bit of construction. Friendly staff. Parking lot is a nightmare.
Did not get what l wanted
Met a friend there for lunch. The food is good you load your plate and go to a line to check out. Very quick check out. Tables both inside and out. First time there for me,. We had salads fresh be greens and trimming I was very happy with the service and food. Later I took a walk around the store and Sprouts is my favorite I didnt see anything that changes my mind. But that all depends on what you are looking for.
Per Whole Foods usual they have a wonderful selection of items far far larger than Trader Joes a meer .25 miles away; however, the Sunday 11:30am check out line wrapped around the store and took over 25 minutes. I would much rather wait outside and be socially distanced then be in the way of other people shopping and closet than 6ft when the lines arent obviously delineated. Something to be cognizant of when coming to this particular Whole Foods.
Love this place! Everyone is friendly and products seem endless. Well prepared for pandemic.
Love shopping here, especially 8pm when the store is quieter. Always friendly employees and amazing selection!!
Great selection of foods and more!
Reading other people’s reviews of this store- there’s always something to be upset about in life (I recommend reflecting on yourself first and remembering that we are living among a minority of privileged people who can many times become smug in their entitlement). That said- I think this store is always lovely- very well stocked, clean, and the food bars are the best of any Whole Foods. Good customer service and fair prices.
This is a quality whole foods, and let me tell you, Im a guy who knows his whole foods.
I love this whole foods! Miss the food market so cant wait till corona is over so we can get back to that :) BEST meat and seafood selection ever here!
WAY overpriced, under-educated staff, packed store during covid - I did not feel safe and the employees did not help me find what I needed.
👁👄👁 *inhales deeply* THATS SOME GOOD PRODUCE
Who dose not live Whole Foods! I have been going to Whole Foods since I was little!
Great selection. We got a great discount for Amazon prime. Super convenient will definitely be going here again.
Whole foods is no more expensive than any other grocery store. It all depends on what you buy. If a bug wont eat it neither will I.
Tim W. in the Floral department rocks! Always great gift ideas, excellent service and a lot of fun.Always a treat to deal with the fish mongers in the seafood department, excellent expertise and care in handling my special orders.Even in peak traffic times at the store it is always nice to hear the employees standing out with great customer care above the noise. That is a happy employee proud and shinning with good training and it is what keeps me coming back. Thanks Whole Foods.
They make Amazon returns really easy.
If you feel like taking your life in your own hands, visit Whole foods on Pearl Street. Highlights include, Half the store without masks(of course including staff), staff members eating food in store isles and almost no social distancing anywhere. We will never go back, ever.
Amazing dark chocolate peanut butter cups along with a good variety of pastries. They only offer soy or almond milk as options with their espresso drinks so tried the almond. Different, but very good.
We bought a whole turkey dinner (10 lb). Following directions, the heated turkey was tough and dry. If you were still open Thurs pm it would have been returned. The stuffing potatoes and cranberries were all good
Have a little compassion people. Are you really that entitled and impatient that you can’t wait in a line? Whole Foods team members have been working throughout the ENTIRE pandemic trying to provide a safe environment for both employees and customers. how about a little appreciation for putting their lives at risk so you can still buy your fancy cheese and kombucha. Get over it. we are all tired but that doesn’t give anyone the right to treat essential workers with disrespect. if the line is really affecting you soooo bad then shop somewhere else! Team members work extremely hard every single day with no relief. the least you can do is be grateful and not whine.
Well stocked, friendly employees.
Ive completely stopped shopping here since Covid. The employees are just nasty to customers for no reason. I assume because they are treated so poorly or the expectation of real customer service isnt there. I only shop at natural grocers now.
Absolutely Fabulous
Its big and everything is expensive. Does have a great vitamin section though! (Alternative medicine)
The coffee is good but they are constantly either closed or not making espresso drinks during business hours. So if you are there already and they happen to be open get some! If not dont risk coming here.
NEVER will go there again. ALWAYS RIDICULOUS LINES!!!! There are plenty of other places to shop amd at more reasonable prices. Not worth the time or money.
Very friendly staff and a wide selection of groceries!
Great produce and friendly vibes.
Dont even bother. Theyve taken out all the bulk foods, and I actually got attitude today for touching a pear to see if it was ripe, then putting it back. People have really taken their crazy to heart today.
Really busy. Doing the best they can work how things are with this pandemic
There were only 5 registers open. It took 25 min to check out. While they are doing proper social distancing, it seems like there should have been more registers
This is a really impressive WFM. The customer service desk is helpful, quick and professional. The selection of products, especially seafood and produce, is particularly fresh & good. This and Highlands Ranch are my two favorites in Denver area, esp this location.
Its a Whole Foods! Be prepared to spend most of your paycheck here. There are receptacles for recycling plastic bags which Im grateful for as well as ample parking spots. Watch for bikers and pedestrians though!
Helpful, personable
Best produce, meat. seafood, cheese ever! #teamwfm
Rising prices, low inventory
Really lively (and usually very busy) location, focused on providing sustainable, natural and organic options to the Boulder community. This location in particular seems focused on innovation by constantly providing new and interesting options for customers.
Very fresh produce and meats!
Great social distancing procedures in place, and I love the variety of products available at this store!
This Whole Foods is large and they do have quite the selection. Unfortunately, it seems that most of the interactions that I have had with their employees are unpleasant. My husband and I have ordered from the vegan bar several times and almost every single time the employees working there are rude. Its honestly kind of a bummer to eat food that was made by someone with a bad attitude. It feels as though I am taking in their negative energy. Additionally, the prepared foods bar seems to seriously fluctuate with their availability of vegan products (lately it has seemed very meaty). I mean, come on, how can there be four different mac n cheeses and not one of them is vegan?! I was informed by an employee that theyre required to have at least one vegan mac n cheese everyday, but the last several times we have gone, there wasnt any. I mean, if I want a veggie burger with fries and/or vegan mac n cheese, theres always Native Foods. So Im just wondering what this store has to offer that will bring us back to their prepared foods section? With this store being in Boulder, one would hope and expect that there would be plentiful vegan options and friendly customer service. Please bring more vegan food to the prepared foods bar! :)
My favorite place to stop for coffee in Boulder before work! The employees make my day every single time. They are efficient, hardworking, kind, and take their time to have genuine conversation with you. As a Boulder transplant, their diverse and inclusive staff makes me feel welcomed and right at home. I have tried just about every coffee shop in town and this location’s staff, customer service, and coffee is unparalleled.
Great store. Well stocked. Products are fresh from the seafood, meats and produce, the sandwich that we had made was perfect only wanting you to have another, the employees were friendly and very helpful.
Crowded at all times but only because its worth it. Staff can be iffy, often rude, but the occasional jewel shines through. Great selection inside the store of vegan treats, check out the bakery and cookie bar, or the hot food bar is always good too. We mostly are addicted to this one because of the Beyond Burger restaurant inside, it is wonderful vegan food. Wish they would separate however as the whole foods employees often ruin the experience as they seem annoyed to have to make the food which we find unprofessional and disrespectful to the brand, plus you have to go pay in the main line which is a pain, and itd be rad to add a drive through as its hard for people with disabilities to get through the store...or even a walk up window on the outside of the store...idk. If you can stay friendly and patient its always worth the trip.
Good baked goods. Delicious scones and muffins. Friendly service and helpful while waiting in line for my coffee and offering to check out my other items.
This place is always packed - its an absolute nightmare. Great if you enjoy watching privileged white people with heads up their butts.
Carlos, the cashier at one of the express check-out station seemed to either have a bad day or just poor customer service skill. He’s better off stocking inventory than working with people, especially at the busiest line of the store. How disappointing! Carlos is definitely not your best asset.
