I bought some canned fava beans here that turned out to be expired. That doesnt always mean rotten, but that was the case this time.

Great little grocery for Persian and general Middle Eastern goods. Ive never had anything expired or bad, unlike what other reviewers have said. Owners may seem reserved compared to what many Americans are used to but theyre genuinely kind and helpful. They give you a little plate of treats during Norooz (Persian New Year), which is really nice.I havent had their prepared food but the owners are Persian-- try something new and ask them what Persian food they have. If you havent had Persian food, youre missing out! Make sure to keep supporting small local businesses like these, were lucky to have them in Boulder

I’m so glad I dropped by this deli last week! Sonraya, the owner was so friendly and patient with me because I wasn’t sure what to order. I decided to order the lamb shank which came with a tomato, cucumber salad and a yogurt sauce and OMG! This was the BEST lamb shank I ever had! It was so tender and melted in my mouth! She cooks everything from scratch. This will be my go to deli so I will have to try everything on the menu!

Lovely and quaint little Middle Eastern grocery store with all the classic Levantine staples. They even had Palestinian zaatar which was a treat. Grateful to have this in town instead of having to drive all the way to Denver to stock up on Arab comfort foods.

Very sweet place and nice owners! Im arabic and most of the items I love and look for in mediterranean stores are present here, such as laban, turkish delight, makdous, labneh, puck cream cheese, arabic bread, souhan, and many other products and spices. Their prices are also great and their store feels like home! Their deli menu tastes amazing. Every visit I make to this store is like a trip back to my past and a pleasant stroll and chat with some of the kindest people. Thank you for managing such an amazing business and doing amazing at it!

Having grown up in Boulder, its nice to see small businesses survive. Very nice people who make good affordable mediterranean comfort food from a small menu with daily specials. Amazing portions for good prices. Quality clean ingredients. Good selection of bulk foods, spices, tasty hot peppers tasty traditional sweets. Lots of good drinks, and convenient supplies. Even had clorox wipes! They accept EBT which is great. I prefer to support small local business. In the midst of quarantine, all the big stores were sold out but small grocers still had rice and beans, etc...which shows not enough people are shopping small and local. Lets all change that ship local and small.

The food is second to none. Everything is homemade and fresh. You are greeted with a smile and a warm hello. And they have a little grocery store with everything you need and more.

Very bad service and extremely bad food. I paid 40 dollars for lamb and when I opened it it was 85% fat and 15% lamb. In addition, I bought a frozen kabob and it was expired, it tasted horrible. I highly recommend that you go to another place, there many alternatives in Boulder.

I love this place because its small, quiet, the food is good, but most importantly is that it is owned by the sweetest family! They are such nice and kind people.

Perfect place to shop for Nowruz ingredients & goodies. They have a good variety of spices, teas, etc. The take-out selection is an added bonus when shopping here, and really delicious! I love Persian food, so this place is a real gem for me.

Been Wanting to stop at this place for a long time. Finally did today and it was pretty cool. Picked up some couscous and a gyro and some puff pastries. Everything was pretty good. The lady was very helpful and nice. Reminded me of my grandma. And to the guys whining about the coupon. This isnt McDonalds. Get over it.

A home cooked meal served on Styrofoam plates. Staff (family) is small so off hours and lunch rush can be a problem if youre in a hurry. Menu is small but drink selection is extensive.

I was going to give them 4 stars because their falafel is pretty good. But its pretty obvious they intentionally give incorrect change to make an extra buck. Pretty lame.

In a nutshell: I walked out on my order after encountering a rude, dark-haired, elderly woman at the counter who would not answer basic questions about their menu, and was told to read the menu each time I had question. The details: Heard from a coworker they have great gyros, so decided to stop by on a Saturday afternoon. The place was empty, save for the dark-haired elderly lady that was at the counter. I asked what type of meat they put on their gyros, and I was told to read from their menu, positioned inconveniently above where orders placed, and easy to miss. I didnt think much of it, but did wonder if it was hard to just tell me. Later, I asked to add falafel to my order, and she wanted to know if I wanted the sandwich. I asked if I could get the falafel by itself, to which she replied Can you read the menu, maybe that will be easier for you? At which point I decided against spending any money at this place. Doubt Ill give it another chance.

Awesome gryos, humus, baba ganoush, tabouli, coffees, pastries, and teas among many other dishes for $5 OR LESS is hard to beat! Authentic Greek food with friendly, real ladies who work here. When I come here and sit down for a bite its nice like I am visiting my friends mom, it feels comfortable, relaxed, and safe in her store.

They refused to serve me because I had a Service dog with me (Vietnam service connected), the owner did not even look at my dogs credentials. This is a violation of the American Disabilities Act. Their excuse was that they serve kosher food and their middle-eastern clients would not like having a dog on the premises. This is not the middle-east folks, embrace America.
