Very good variety of items, with low prices and nice staff, came here looking to see what they had and ended up spending $300 10/10 would recommend
Very nice people and very helpful. Great coins
Ive been a customer of Tebo Coin for years. They have helped me build my coin collection and have always had fair pricing on their coins. If there is something you are looking for let them know and they will find it. They are an amazing group of people working there. I highly recommend this company.
If you want $5 less an ounce for your silver, come here. Offered to give me $4.50 less than spot price, while saying he was “doing me a favor and not giving me $5/less “. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being ripped off and taken advantage of. They prey on people not knowing the market. I would avoid like the plague.
We have been long-time clients and would highly recommend Tebo Coin for those looking to purchase or sell coins and precious metals. Their staff is highly knowledgeable. Tebo Coin has been an established local company for decades and there is a reason why they have stayed in business so long - they are honest professionals.
We have been working with these gentlemen for years, and will for years to come. We order employee gifts from them every year and are always extremely happy with the service they provide. They are responsive, quick, and wonderful to work with!
The people in this shop are happy to spend time with their customers. I am slowly working back on building complete mint sets by year, and they have the time and the patience to work with me year by year. They are the same with everyone else I see in the shop. This is the best shop in the area.
Knowledgeable staff, great selection, honest and fair pricing. The best place for rare coins and precious metals in the front range. Tebo Coin has served my family for two generations and soon to be three
I am very pleased with Tebo Coin. They are a friendly, informative, and no-pressure staff both at the store and via email. For metals, they informed me how to do my own research online and at near-by stores. So far, I believe their spread for bullion is fair and competitive here in Boulder. The inside is much more inviting that the outside and as a precious metal investor, I would recommend their business!
Ive accumulated some silver over the years and was curious how fair these guys are, in case I ever needed to unload it. Tried taking a couple of silver coins to sell, just to see how they do business. Was offered $1.50 UNDER SPOT PRICE for a PCGS graded MS-69 Australian silver dollar, saying they treat it like junk/bullion. Why treat it like junk when it isnt... its a highly graded coin? They dont sell their own graded coins like bullion? I understand the shop is there to make a profit, but their disgusting offer makes me wonder how desperate one has to be to do business here.
I have been a customer at Tebo Coin for a couple of decades. They have always treated me courteously and professionally. It is so nice to have a locally owned and knowledgeable coin dealer here in town. They have a strong inventory of coins and currency. As with any collectable market, there are always fluctuations, I can always count on Tebo Coin to be fair and honest.
Hands down, the best coin shop in all of Colorado, Been in Boulder 50 years, You can usually tell how good a coin shop is by the patience of the salesmen, the nice man with a mustache had such knowledge in all aspects of my visit. Thank you Tebo coins, will make the hour drive to your business any time. ps: the Jim Croce in the background was awesome.
The owner was able to identify my old medallions from my photos and I am not a photographer. Very helpful and quick to respond via E-mail. I was very happy with the service they provided.
I like this place because i can ask all the questions i like and they will take their time to answer them, i like to take my spare cash and buy a couple of things and they are always helpful when doing so, thanks for your help
I have been in a few times and the service is always great. I made a comment about $2 bills when I entered the shop and when I received the change from my purchase a couple of $2 bills were slipped in. Great coin shop in the Boulder area with great service and inventory
Great customer service. Would highly recommend. Sold coins and was a great experience.
I go to Tebo frequently to pick up silver bullion and occasionally other coins/paper notes. They have a very good selection of silver rounds, art bars and other miscillanous pieces. I have only had good experiences while buying and browsing. The shop owners/employees are always friendly and knowledgable. It is a relaxed environment and they are always happy to help, and wont hover over you as you browse. Prices are fair. Would recommend.
Very friendly and knowledgeable people who helped pick a gift for my son
Ive had the pleasure of being a Tebo Coin customer since 2008, and theyve consistently provided me with excellent service over those 10 years. Always professional, calm, and customer-oriented, the employees of Tebo Coin are excellent.
Wow if you are looking to sell your coins please go online or find another shop. They seem to pay about 30% of market value even if your coins are professionally rated and sealed. I understand you wont get market value selling to a shop but this seems a tad excessive. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this business.
The owner is very rude. I asked a couple of questions and he looked at me like i was stupid. And the shop will not let you look though the junk silver like everyother shop. After he told me i cant look at what i am buying i walked out the door and he lost a huge sale . we went up to fall river jewelry and antiques in estes park and spent about $1000 . Because bob at fall river will treat you right and give you a way better deal then what tebo coins has.
Shop is very nice, great selection, and a low price over spot on silver and gold bullion. Staff was helpful and pleasant, and offered me fair prices and actual deals. They wont take advantage of you and will still hook it up with good deals even if you could obviously be swindled. Only thing they do that is sorta dumb is mark up the prices on silver and gold over the weekend because the market is down but whatever just dont shop there on your days off I guess... only bad for them in my opinion as most people go shopping near pearl on saturdays and sundays. Also bring cash because they mark you up for a card and the ATM nearby has a $200 limit.
Outstanding Experience. Friendly well informed staff. It is always a pleasure doing business with them
I was first introduced to Tebo Coin Company on October 29, 2016. I should touch upon what brought me there in the first place. At the time, I knew very little about Precious Metals nor the intricate workings of the US Dollar or its role in the World Economy. Moreover, during the previous week, by chance I happened to stumble upon a book called, The Big Reset-War on Gold and the Financial Endgame. Its main theme was that Gold will be introduced as one of the pillars of the next phase in the Global Financial System and that it could be re-valued at $7,000 per Troy Ounce by 2020 if the US Dollar lost significant value as the worlds reserve economy. One of the managers, Mr. Tim Weir took about 30 minutes of his time to share with me valuable information about Precious Metals. He willingly wrote down notes suggesting websites to conduct my own research. What was equally impressive is he did not attempt to push upon me making purchases that day until I was comfortable doing so. (However, after speaking with me, that first day, I did purchase a some Silver American Eagles and a 5 ounce Silver Bar). Since then, I have returned to on multiple on occasions for additional purchases.Further, Ive had to the pleasure to meet the other manager, Mr. Dave Allen whom is equally impressive as Mr. Weir. Each time I have returned, the both even remembered my name! They have been kind enough to allow me to express my views on the possibility about the significant rise in value that could occur with Precious Metals if the US Dollars value in the world economy shifts dramatically. In closing, I highly reccommned of others to shop there. In Thank you Tebo Coin for your outstanding professionalism and kindness! J.T. Glover
First time visitor. Nice shop with a nice variety of coins!
People are great. Unfortunately, boulder has very high taxes. Weld County is tax FREE on coins
Good coins.
Great customer experience! Tebo understood my artistic interests and was able to meet and exceed my expectations by selecting some wonderful Silver 1oz rounds for my collection. Perfect conditions and exeptional quality/price value. Thanks to Tebo coins, I can now share my American heritage with my friends and family in Italy by showcasing my collection of pure silver coins from the USA. Grazie mille!
Tebo Coin in Boulder is the best place to buy or sail your precious metals. I took a beating from other companies until I found Tebo Coin
I went to ask some questions about collecting coins. The staff was very helpful. I will do business with them in the future.
Friendly service, staff goes the extra mile to explain the in and outs of buying and selling precious metals.
Tim and the gang always a pleasure to work with. Knowledgeable and friendly.
Personable, patient knowledgeable and a pleasure to do business with.
We initially had a discrepancy that was resolved to my satisfaction and they went above and beyond. Great customer service they really do care about the customers here
Ive sold many a gold coin to tebow. Theyre the only game in town that Ive found that pays spot for Eagles or Buffaloes. Ive never dealt with them for anything of nusimatic value so I cant speak to them in that regard.
They are professional and helpful. They have taught me a lot in just my few visits.
I wish I could give zero stars. They charge $6 over spot for silver eagles, are very dishonest. A guy tried to sell me a dragon commemorative for $50 when it is worth $26 or $27. Extremely dishonest people and I would advise everyone to STAY AWAY!!! Take your money elsewhere.
Best place ever the guy gave a free coin book and 5 free coins!!!!!!!!!L
Not good. Didnt like or trust them.
This place charges $6 above spot silver . . . . are you kidding me? This place is a SERIOUS rip off.
Worst commission I have seen
Great bunch of people
Is there a collector name Dennis Andrew??
Excellent!
