Im in town from Vermont, and I just happen to be something of an Ice Cream aficionado so I can say with some authority that this is some amazing ice cream. I got a pint of the Mint Honey and it was a quickly apparent that the mint was very fresh and the honey flavor added a nice rich flavor without bogging down the flavors. I am in love.

Yum! Yum! Yum! The Peppermint Bark ice cream was to die for. Charming location. Very busy when we got there but staff were super friendly and quick. We will definitely be back!

Such good ice cream that I came back almost immediately. The first time I went, I ordered chocolate acai and coconut cream pie flavors which were fantastic and original. The second time, I ordered chocolate chip cookie dough and girl scout mint cookie, which were also very good.

The ice cream was delicious and the server was sweet too. We went pretty late and they still had a decent group of people ordering. Our orders came out super quick and were priced cheaper than I would expect for such a popular place.

Love the ice cream sandwiches here. They can sell out of certain flavors of the sandwiches closer to the end of the day. The staff are friendly and fast. They let you taste flavors. There take home options are all flavors they have including the ability to take home toppings like sprinkles!

They always have amazing flavors, this time they had Malted Milk Ball. OMG…. Thank god it was cheat meal night because that Pint was devoted faster than free pizza at a fat person convention.

Very good service for someone that has food allergies. They gave me a list of each flavor that detailed what allergens were associated. They even scooped the ice cream separately to make sure there was no cross contamination. Theres really no guarantee but I felt like Sweet Cow went above and beyond providing a safe place for my daughter and I to enjoy ice cream.

Who doesn’t love tasty handmade ice cream?! We usually go to the location on north Broadway. Anytime of the day, we get greeted with a hello and a smile. Business is about good service for Sweet Cow.I’m a big fan of ice cream sandwiches and my boyfriend just likes a pint. I loved the ice cream inside and appreciated the cookie taste of the sandwich, but the texture of the cookie isn’t 100% right for the hardness of the ice cream. They fall apart before you get to the center and they don’t squish so I can flatten the inside to reach the edges. So, there’s room to improve there.My ice cream choice usually revolves around a spiced (chai, ginger, etc.) or chocolate. Their chocolates have so much cocoa...and I’m a dark chocolate fan, so the more cocoa, the better!The Ozo coffee ice cream sandwich was one of the best coffee flavors I’ve had. Other cones that I haven’t taken pictures of were really yummy too.The Broadway location has a good setup for directing traffic, in and out the same door. The Louisville location has one door as well, but it’s a crowd to get in and crowded to get out. So, I prefer the Boulder location.Just try a new flavor each time, it’s the best part about going to Sweet Cow!

Dont usually have a sweet enough tooth to enjoy these ice cream stores.Had a remarkable strawberry lemon sherbet at this place the other day however. Unlimited tastes!

Quintessential ice cream parlor - seriously you get hit with that nostalgic waffle cone smell as soon as you walk in. Lots of families with little kids here and I never see the kids screaming their heads off so I think they probably enjoy the place, which is nice for everyone. My favorite flavor is the peppermint bark, which unlike most ice cream parlors they carry at various points throughout the year so I dont get stuck enjoying it exclusively at Christmas. That said, eating ice cream in the snow is total Queen Frostine vibes and I am here for it.

Best ice cream and sorbet in Boulder. Friendly and hard working staff. One time I went in, one of the worker liked my Darth Vader shirt and he comped my order. I really appreciate the gesture and will be getting ice cream here for many times to come. Give everyone a raise!

Great place to enjoy some really delicious ice cream in Boulder. Sweet Cow has other locations which I’m sure produce equally delicious ice cream, ice cream sandwiches, and ice cream cakes. The long list of flavors for scoops was daunting to work my way through, but the staff was kind and allowed me to indulge on a few samples to hone in my choice. Ultimately I landed on their Peanut Butter Brownie which was spectacular for peanut butter fanatics like myself. Sweet Cow strikes me as an establishment that will make you satisfied with whatever flavor you choose. Their ice cream sandwiches and ice cream cakes looked so good I’m pretty sure I began to salivate while waiting in line. I will absolutely come back for more sweets and look forward to trying their ice cream cookies and cakes another time.

We have been coming ever since we moved to boulder. The ice cream is clearly the best around (only comparable is in Colorado Springs). But the staff and service really set the place apart. I just dont know how they keep a steady stream of the nicest folks youve ever met working the scoopers. Seems like its just built into the ethos of the company: from the owner down. How wonderful!

Last day of school for the nieces so rode our bikes down and got some ice cream with them and my sis. Good quality, several flavors to choose from, would recommend if in the area. Online flavors for the day may have been just a touch different than in store, but as busy as they were it is understandable they were busy making treats and not playing on the computer! Friendly staff with a smile is always a must when you stop for ice cream and this place does not disappoint.

Covers are served in a separate cup next to your scooped ice cream. You can still enjoy the best ice cream in Boulder there or bring it home!

The Grand Marnier with chocolate chips is the best! Sorry its not more frequently on their menu. Staff is friendly. Once ordered the order is quickly filled and placed in the freezer awaiting you to pick up.

This place is terrible. Wanted to let people know there’s a current covid outbreak amongst their employees. They’re telling them they can still work, not closing their doors, and not informing any customers. They also told employees they wouldn’t get paid leave if they got covid from sweet cow. Disgusts me considering they’re a soon to be multimillionaire franchise. I just can’t get over that they are potentially spreading covid to customers and all their employees and are still keeping their doors open.

Great ice cream shame about the plastic packaging. Excellent cookies and cream but why does a single cone come with mounds of plastic packaging inside a paper bag with two plastic spoons? I appreciate covid protection but could you reconsider the waste while adding dubious protection? I’m afraid I will have to stay away from my neighborhood ice cream shop until normality returns. Other ice cream snobs seem to love custards and dense thick hard high fat content ice creams. Here the ice cream is a thinner creamier .....more like homemade ice cream...in fun flavors. Love it

I bought a scoop of the amazing Captain Crunchberries flavor one day and came back the very next day to buy a quart because its just that good. Get it while you can because its seasonal and totally worth it.

I had a big cookies and cream shake, and it was delicious. The guy who made it accidentally made it the size smaller, but when I pointed it out and he immediately fixed it. Amazing ice cream and stellar customer service. And the prices are incredibly fair, which is a rare find in Boulder! I will absolutely be coming again. Cant believe I hadnt before. Absolutely 100% recommend.

This place was pretty hoppin for an October Sunday night in Boulder!As this was my first experience, I give this a solid four stars. They have about two dozen flavors (nothing crazy or super original, but I did see two vegan/dairy-free options) and they give GENEROUS scoops. And I also thought the prices were reasonable.Indoor seating was limited, however, but there were outdoor tables and benches available.

Sweet Cow is an excellent place for delicious ice cream! There are 2 Boulder locations (north end and south ends of town) but both are awesome. At first we saw a very long line and thought this may take awhile, but the ladies and gentleman working the counter are plentiful, efficient, knowledgeable, and fast! If youre a vegan... not to worry! They make a product that meets your needs too! If youre a customer looking for a cake to celebrate an occasion... look in the cooler. Theres an abundance of sizes and flavors to choose. Sweet Cow uses quality, fresh ingredients to tantalize your tastebuds! Go! Get some! Youll be glad you did!

I cannot tell you when their sweet cream flavor is out because they barely release it, but it is absolutely amazing. It is one of those flavors where you constantly have to come back to check out if they offer it.But if that flavor is not there, then their mint chocolate is always a great flavor. Their milkshakes are also super creamy and delicious. I personally like the waffle cones (especially in the summer)!

More pricey than most ice cream, but well worth it! It is not to sweet and packed with lots of sugar like weve had at other places. The ice cream has an authentic homemade creamy taste and the atmosphere in the shop is good too. Definitely recommend!

Unfortunately the staff is not as good as their ice cream.....they kinda make you feel bad for requesting anything more than one flavor and a dish. But I guess you gotta take it for this ice cream.....Would still go again
