Very well layed out coffee shop with a variety of coffee drinks served to perfection. Seating is comfortable and great for doing some work or catching up with friends. With indoor and outdoir seating, you cant go wrong. The staff are friendly, the coffee is of good quality, and the pricing will meet any students budget!
Barista was personable. Coffee was great! Loved the options. I only sat down to enjoy the coffee, but I do appreciate the spaciousness of the location for if I want to set up shop at work on my laptop. Patio seating was full, but its nice that its an option. I would say the only disappointment was how expensive the drinks are, and I didnt see any gluten-free food options.
Good Coffee, nice to sit. The croissants did look good, but I did not have any food with my latte.
Could camp out at this coffee shop all day if I could! Great vibe that’s perfect for talking or studying. Also a small patio out front is a plus! Always a place to sit. Love it
Great! Review is for hot drinks only.
Excellent location on Pearl Street with an assortment of coffee, teas and more. Some lite fare like sandwiches and quiche is also available. Live music and local culture vibe is strong.
I ordered an iced venetian cream and a quiche. The coffee was probably the best coffee Ive ever had. The quiche was alright. The staff were very friendly. Come here for the coffee!
Good coffee. The gluten free breads they carry are good too
Pleasant place to spend some time in the hubbub of Pearl Street. Conscious wait staff. Sadly, the cappuccino does not stack up ..... the Starbucks model of froth on top of milky coffee.
Good place to watch white folks in their natural habitat. Have a chai or hard kombucha to fit in, and dont ask for a straw or theyll know youre a dweeb.
I love this coffee shop!! I love taking my dogs and sitting outside on the sidewalk seating area! Super friendly staff and very knowledgeable. I love supporting local business rather than a big chain!! Staff is friendly and genuine. Place is a little long in the tooth, but the keep it clean. Good selection of local-ish food & snacks.
The best coffee shop in Boulder. They used to close late and have live music most nights. Not sure what the deal is now. Havent been there since the pandemic. Planning on going there tomorrow. Friendly owner and staff.
This is my local favorite. Id like to actually rate it poorly so less Freds go here. But I cant in good faith do this
We used to go here all the time. Theyve eliminated any traces of a phone # to call that I can see. I wanted to call this evening and inquire about live music, so sad.
Delivering for them has been fine. They can get busy due to location but overall I’m fine with them
Tasty drinks but really small tables. Not great for if you want to play games or study with more than a laptop.
Super friendly staff enjoyed the coffees immensely!
This place has a good selection of coffees and teas, and they have a sweet guide for the constituent ratio breakdown for their drinks. I love a good, illustrated guide. See attached. I was boring and just ordered the Jasmine Tea, but it comes in a cute little colored tea pot. Its fun.
This was an unexpected gem. Will definitely come back for a visit.Chill atmosphere, great coffee, service is good. There was a decent selection of coffee drinks and had almond milk which is always a plus. The night I went they had live music and the sound quality was really good which tbh was surprising close wondering the location.
The Laughing Goat was my savior when COVID made it so that we couldnt have in-person class. I would go there to study, take zoom calls, or catch up with friends and always felt very at home. The baristas are friendly and good at what they do and there is never an issue when it comes to staying for a few hours. The drinks (especially the dirty chai) are high quality and the music is always good!
Great staff, good coffee and tasty pastries
Nice spot for coffee and breakfast. Local feel.
Ya go to a coffee shop for the atmosphere, right? This place has got it.
Always a nice spot to grab a quick coffee. I sometimes like to study here
Is wonderful employees! Good beverages and food. Let it go
The coffee was pretty good, the wait was fairly long. I dont think Ill be back though. The staff made me feel embarrassed for asking for something similar to a caramel macchiato.
Really good coffee shop. Amazing chocolate croissant.
Everything is over the top spectacular - the service, the atmosphere, the food, the wine selection.
The vibes were nice but the coffee was undrinkably bitter
The best free entertainment around . O f course there is a five to ten dollar donation jar World class acts . . .peace
Best spot for quiet contemplative thought with a well crafted latte, ☕️restretto, flat white or beer and wine. Live music most nights with a lovely crowd of locals to share space with. Same block as Full Cycle Bikes and the Tune Up Bar for all the best Cycling gear, rentals and maintenance a gear head might desire. 🚴♂️
Lovely coffee shop. Visited twice in my limited time in Boulder.
2/5 stars for coffee, and 5/5 for the place. They say that they’re sourcing coffee from Kaladi and that it’s “one of the top 3 in the states”. It got my hyped then I asked what’s on espresso. Just one blend? Honestly, most coffee shops have at least 2 different types on espresso. I ordered a flat white, which is apparently not well-known in the US. I got it in 8 oz cup so I’d assume it had more froth, accounting for the extra 2 oz, but it didn’t. Additionally, I don’t mind if there is latte art or not, however, if a barista decides to have latte art, then at least try to make it presentable. It also tasted bad, no hints of “chocolate, nutty flavor” as advertised at the counter. I’m giving it 4 stars because I have high hopes for this place, that it can change to the better.
10/10 on taste, coffee was yum. 10/10 on vibe, the inside of this place is great- almost Seattlesque. 3/10 on temperature, coffee was lukewarm. 10/10 on employees, super nice, chatty within reason.
Service was bad enough that I am writing a review on this place. The two girls working had no sense of service. The girl that waited in me couldnt answer some question about what was in the quiche. Also they heated it up in the microwave. Not great. There are several other great coffee places on pearl. Check those out.
Great coffee and plenty of room.
Great coffee, and the music was awesome. The wifi worked great, and it was a very pleasant late night experience overall. Highly recommended to get your coffee fix! Also saw someone order a pot of tea, which I thought was awesome and really want to try now.Second time I came here I got a little pastry and a hot chocolate, both of which were fantastic. Great atmosphere.
Great service, nice staff, my hot chocolate was yummy. only reason for four stars is that this is a big place and only has one bathroom so the wait time can be quite long. Thank goodness there was only six people here and only three of us were waiting in line.
They have nice gluten free baked goods and lots of room for spaced out indoor seating.
Ran into this gem while exploring Pearl Street and I couldnt be happier that I did! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. I enjoyed a blueberry hibiscus iced tea, as well as a vanilla ice coffee in The Laughing Goats outdoor space. I highly recommend the blueberry hibiscus tea as a refreshing drink on a hot day!
Came for coffee and to recharge our phones. It wasnt a quiet place, but the coffee was good and the art on the walls was interesting.
Using the best espresso in Colorado.
Very homey vibes. Cheap coffee and pretty good too!!
The coffee here was so good that I came back the same day for a second drink. Definitely try the cakes and breads at the front counter as well. The vibe in this place was friendly and comfortable. Come here and hang out with some great coffee.
GOATED Coffee shop. I’m pretty harsh when it comes to rating coffee places however this place has amazing coffee, amazing staff, amazing scenery. Just a great place all around
I would give 5 stars for ambience. It’s busy all the time. Excellent place to work and people watch. Younger crowd. May be 1 star for coffee. I probably got bad draw. Here’s Lithmus test for great coffee - if you need to add sugar, get a headache or have a breakout, it’s horrible coffee. Drink where locals drink in Mexico or Europe and one will understand what coffee really is.
Excellent staff and Great coffee
Could use some carb free/keto food options but other than that great!
Iconic Boulder cafe... Gotta go! Coffee is delicious!
Stopped in for coffee. Barista was nice. Coffee was ok. Thanks for giving us our mid afternoon wake up.
Cool name, cool baristas, sweet location. The coffee was pretty damn good, too, with serving sizes that seemed unexpectedly generous. It’s a cozy coffee shop with locally made treats and drinks. Worth checking out.
Good ambiance. Nice crew. Normally a good spot for local music a few times a month but covid has stopped that. They offer beer, snacks, and coffee drinks.
Breakfast burrito and a latte were enough to hook me, but the atmosphere of the place is why I will absolutely go back. Especially post pandemic
Superb atmosphere, the best coffee in Boulder, if not the planet!
Such a great coffee shop! I really hope they can stay in business.Staff is friendly, and the coffee is great.Parking is a little tough sometimes tho.Give em a try!!
I went in today first time there and we weren’t welcomed in and did not feel welcomed at all even talking with the barista with the long blond curly hair. She treated us as if we were a burden and that she wanted anything but us to be there. We mentioned it was our first time and just were stared at making it a very anxious and unpleasant feeling. The man there was super super sweet and helpful so I do give it another star because he was helpful and stepped in while the other girls were very rude and not helpful and rather judge-mental I am not one to make reviews but we were so excited To go to a cute coffee place out of town recommended to us, but it was a very not good experience:( I’m so sure you guys are great and I totally understand bad days and all but I do not believe in being mean to people you don’t even know! Im sad I have to leave a review but I feel the need to. The coffee the guy made was amazing though 💜
Great selection and friendly staff!
Very friendly with no wait. I highly recommend the Venetian Cream. It taste like coffee ice cream.
My favorite for hot spicy chai! Love it 😊
Reminds me of Kaladi Brothers in Alaska! Same great atmosphere and same great coffee! This location offers live music and outdoor seating seasonally.
Awesome coffee shop.
Great customer service and tasty coffee. The have opened all their windows and I felt safe going in and enjoying coffee on their patio
Forgot half our order
Awesome place, nice workers, good environment, quality espresso shots, solid sandwich selection.
Very cute, local cafe with many drink and food options. They have local wifi and indoor/outdoor seating. During normal business, not during the pandemic, they have live music. Its a cozy atmosphere and the staff is very kind and helpful!
Love their lavender lattes!
Very comfortable, spacious, warm and dark colors inclu copper. Abstract/word paintings. Hearty hummus sandwich. Reminds me of Berkeley CA and Eugene OR/relaxed college town vibe.
Pretty standard coffee shop
Good coffee and friendly staff! The cashier with the longer hair in a bun and tye-dye shirt was very nice! He walked us through our options and cooked our burritos perfectly!
Great coffee, great service, and awesome staff 10/10
There are a lot of coffee shops on Pearl St, I would recommend going to one where customer service is a priority. After placing an order early this afternoon, we tried to pay with their card reader and ran into a litany of issues. The card reader was broken and I was unable to insert my card, so we tried swiping, which then notified us we were required to insert the card; so we tried that again, it failed, and when I removed my card the chip was visibly damage. A person I assume to be a manager came over to help, ran through the same steps to no avail. What frustrated me about the encounter was the customer service, specifically from the manager who offered no solution as to either a method of payment or to the fact that their equipment has just destroyed my credit card. She also seemed confused as to why I wouldnt want to stick another one of my cards into their chip reader. At this point the baristas just stared at us as if we, the customers, were going to somehow resolve this issue and pay. Had they made literally any attempt to help, I wouldnt have an issue with this encounter. So we left, and wont be back.
Pretty good coffee and a lot of space to get a seat. We had some quiche and that was good too.
Seemed like we inconvenienced the barista from practicing his guitar. Staff wasn’t super friendly, but the coffee was pretty goood!
Great coffee place
Excellent coffee, superb ambience and congenial staff. Coffee house with eclectic options. We went on a weekday morning and the store was busy. However, the coffee was worth it.Prices are almost same as Starbucks. Will definitely return, if in area.
This coffee place is the best in Boulder. First of all, their coffees are just great. They source their coffees from various best places from the world which are known for their coffee growing. The staff is courteous, talented baristas. There is live music in the night. Very cozy place.
Tried to order a caramel macchiato as “macchiato” and syrups were listed on the menu. Instead of explaining they only made traditional Italian macchiatos or asking if I wanted a caramel latte the cashier rather rudely brushed me off as I “ordered a Starbucks drink” he then said I wanted *something I couldn’t hear because of wearing masks* and just decided for me that’s what I was getting. It wasn’t even a caramel drink, but vanilla. It was a good drink but way over priced and the staff’s comments came off condescending.
5 stars for food 1 star for social distance. Just way too many people inside on Colorados worst day for COVID cases. A ton of people bumping shoulders in a room with no masks is the reason were going to end up in lockdown again.
I came in here looking to enjoy a slow cup of coffee and get some work done. I found the offerings absolutely fantastic and the staff very sweet. Although I saw the front absolutely packed with people doing their work, I wasnt able to make myself comfortable here, or find a good place to sit near an outlet even though half of the place was empty. I wound up tucking myself away in a corner at the back and was able to get a bit of something done, but I went elsewhere for the rest of my working lunches.
