By far the best mocha I’ve ever had… tried my friends caramel latte as well and it was also so delicious. Will definitely be coming back!
We stopped in for breakfast in mid-August, visiting Boulder to move our son into his apartment. The staff were super-friendly, the breakfast foods were all delicious (burritos and bread), and the coffee was perfection. I especially loved the little packets of hot sauce on offer! The next time were in town Red Rock Coffeehouse is a Must Visit place!
I Google a coffee shop in Boulder close to where I was. Red Rock popped up so we gave it a try. This place by far has the easiest menu of any coffee house Ive ever been. I ordered a chocolate frozen coffee which was really good. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed.
Great local coffee shop that outcompetes other nearby coffeeshops for best espresso.
I just love this spot! Great service. Delicious Chai with spice! And... yummy gluten free breads! The kombucha is fabulous.
This place is amazing. Their burritos are yummy. Their coffee isn’t over priced and their espresso is chocolatey. The staff is always pleasant as well. You’d be surprised after walking in, it’s such a nice aesthetic inside. Highly recommend!
Nice coffee shop in Boulder with some of the best pastries.
Love red rocks. One of my favorite coffee places in boulder. Been coming here for years. The staff is super friendly and service is always quick. If you get the chance, enjoy one of their breakfast burritos or the gluten free sweet breads with your coffee.
Good Ambiance, Cappuccino was Ok, not very strong.
Husband loved the coffee. Local place. First time in. He told me it reminded him of a place he used to go years ago where the man picked the coffee beans and roasted them himself!! Made me happy to be able to give so much to my husband in a simple cup of coffee. His new go to in Boulder!! Thank you!!
Amazing coffee and great selection, reasonable prices, consistent, friendly service. Easy to access from Iris or 28th. Oh! And the slices of cake bread....addicting!
I was excited to spend my day working from my laptop at this location. I walked in and it was a great, cozy shop which I was immediately happy with. They have nice sofas and plenty of tables to work from which is always something I need in a good work space. The coffee smelled amazing and I was eager to give it a try once I got all my things situated. I walked around the coffee shop looking for a place to sit and realized there were no outlets. For me this is a big negative. Typically Ill spend over 5 hours in any coffee shop working and without an outlet this becomes impossible. Unfortunately at this point i had to leave and didnt get to try anything they offered. Like i said it seemed like a nice shop, however not a place you can work from for long periods of time. I will give it 2 stars because although it was not a good work spa e the staff seemed friendly and the environment was nice.
We stopped in as we were passing through town. Fast and friendly service, and the coffee was delicious!
Great coffee. I love that they dont up charge for special milks.
Great coffee and chai and nice employees! I tried the spicy pumpkin spice chai today and really enjoyed it! Not too sweet and not too pumpkin-y!
Never been to a coffee house before. I was in the area and needed a cold strong drink. I went in there and asked for a super strong drink and thats exactly what I got. They knew what I wanted and served it up fast. The staff was super nice and welcoming. Ill be going back for more soon. Thank you!
Good space, although they close a little early and do not have a huge selection on their menu. It is a good quiet place to sit.
Love this coffee shop! Friendly staff, delicious coffee & chai, and always a wide selection of baked goods and breakfast burritos!
An ideal coffeeshop. Solid, good coffee; great ambience / location; easy to bike or drive to; plenty of outdoor seating; good service, nice folks. They do it right.
Coffee was what you’d expect, good not great. They should have a sign explaining why there are no power outlets. Maybe it’s so people make human connections or maybe people were staying “too long” for the owner’s liking, but I was disappointed. I’m passing through town and needed to get some work done and couldn’t. I’m sure the owners are nice people, so I hope they read and hear the outcry of people who just want to plug in!
They have really made this place cute!! It was always nice, but now it is cuter, too 😊 Good coffee, friendly staff, quiet easy-listening music, comfy chairs. Very nice.P.S. I just had the Gluten-free pecan zucchini bread and it was excellent. Not excellent for Gluten-free, just really really good!!!
Red Rocks is a beautiful, simple, and cozy coffeeshop. Great to sit down and chat or work - nice atmosphere and great people! Guy does a wonderful job with the details, youre guaranteed a great cup of coffee, or (my favorite) a silky cappuccino!
Coffee pretty good. Ambiance better than expected for a strip mall coffee house. Service very nice.
Nice place for good coffee .. just happened to be convenient for the moment so I stopped in for a latte and a Danish. I liked the music they were playing at a reasonable volume (vs those shops with too loud music) and theres plenty room to meet and converse with friends ... if people do that anymore without their laptops. I recommend giving them a visit.
Lots of comfy chairs, beautiful art. Delicious coffee. But someone who ordered the same drink after me yanked my drink from the counter, so it took over 15min until I had my coffee in hand. Maybe they should use names on the cups to avoid this ?
Best coffee shop in Boulder. Good coffee lots of other selections. Extremely friendly staff. Its been my favorite coffee shop for 3 years! Havent found one I like better yet. For that matter havent found one I like equally as well.
Great owner, great BREADS, love the orange tea! Hopefully, you can get Frau Fowler SURSE oral care tabs there soon- great after coffee or tea!
There is a (presumably old) review which mentions copious outlets making it a good place to work. As I and other recent reviewers have noted, this is no longer the case. All the outlets have now been covered, which is frustrating when you walk into a coffee place to work. Otherwise, nice atmosphere, good coffee, comfy, pretty good location. Nice place to hang out and grab coffee and snacks, but not good if you want to work away from home.
Excellent!Great patio for sunny days too!
This place makes great coffee, has a nice atmosphere and a nice staff. Im disappointed with all the people leaving one or two stars because theres no outlets. Thats so lame... I understand that can be an issue, so I get taking off a star or two, but no ones reviewing it based off what it is.. a COFFEEhouse. Anywho, if you like good coffee, youll like this place. Sorry theres no outlets, just go to a Starbucks if thats what youre looking for.
Great place I just don’t know the actual hours anymore
Delicious coffee and friendly people. Happy to have this place in my neighborhood
Their Colorado Spice latte cant be beat. No other place matches it. I love their pasties and food and teas as well. I discovered this place years ago when I worked at Boulder Hospital. Now, whenever Im in Boulder every other week for meetings, I make a point of going there. It is the part I look forward to the most, going to Red Rocks to get my favorite coffee drink.
This place is awesome, and the staff is even better. Guy was welcoming to a group I hosted here, and we were well-taken care of. Check this place out as soon as you can!
Friendly owner and employees. Nice atmosphere for having a coffee and reading or getting some work done. I also enjoy the variety of food choices!
Everyone working was perfectly friendly and kind, my chai was fine but not great. Not a lot of room to move between tables. Wish Id caught this in the reviews though- there are NO OUTLETS AVAILABLE for customers. And I actually totally understand that decision as it limits how long people can camp there. I just had the bad luck of a dead laptop battery when I thought it was full, and not feeling the most emotionally stable to begin with that day. So that just... Hurt my day a lot. They seem fine for the majority of things, but it doesnt suit my needs so I probably wont be back.
They have possibly the best chocolate croissants at Red Rocks! Better get there early cuz they sell out quickly in the morning. Great coffee too!
Owners are awesome, always busy with wonderful folks. They have yummy nosh and good coffee. Its in a good place for me to stop in on my way on to run errands or go to work and has excellent service.
Best vanilla latte Ive ever had. Free WiFi and comfortable seating. It takes a bit to get your order but its well worth the wait.
Great tea and friendly staff. Nice and quiet and a great place to knit
These guys Rock. They have one of the most perfect coffees in Boulder, never bitter, never too strong, kind helpful employees, and all kinds of options for condiments. Love them!
Looked like a nice place to catch up on work, but we found out AFTER we ordered that there were no power outlets anywhere in the coffeehouse. Maybe a nice place to chat, but if they dont want people working in there, they should post information to let you know in advance.
One of the best in Boulder. Nice spot to sit and work. There arent many outlets anymore though. The coffee and wifi are both great. There is candy in the drawer of the table where the cream and sugar sit!
I do agree with Dlyans review. I like this place for my relaxing time with good drink. This coffee house is locally owned not franchise. I would like to have coffee from locally owned boutique style coffee shop to supprt local samll business. Sometime people just order the cheapest drink and ask refill using outlet for many hours, free internet and restroom.
This coffee shop used to be much better; service level has decreased and the blended coffee had the texture of whip cream (gross) and was average at best.
Its great now with new owners...I like it lots, especially after midnight!!!
Good coffee, great baked goods (the owner bakes everything in house!), and good vibes for hanging out and getting some work done :-)
Update: Recently they decided to get rid of their outlets so now working from here is a no go. I feel for the shop though since so many people abuse the outlets and stay in the shop all day without buying anything, but there are other ways to limit campers like limiting WiFi time, etc. So Im pretty sad to say that I wont be going to Red Rock much anymore.Good coffee. Nice atmosphere. Plenty of seating. Their pastry selection could use a little help.
Penultimate coffee house experience. Good tea and oatmeal. Quiet, though plenty of people, and still has good music playing.
Very ok place. It feels like a place that doesnt want you to stick around to work because they dont have outlets and I was given a disposable cup even though I got a coffee to drink there. A bunch of seating available, but the bench cushions are uncomfy.
We really like this place. Its a little off the beaten path but right on the Elmers Two Mile bike path. Good coffee friendly staff. All organic and fair trade which is really important.
Love it here.
When all you want is breakfast but you get served a bitchy attitude and an ice cold biscuit instead....The Girl behind the counter had the personality of a wet mop, which quickly killed my expectations.I was handed my breakfast to go and got out of whatever hipster hell hole I had discovered.Got to work only to find a big frozen lump of bullshit.Definitely wont be returning.
This is my favorite coffee shop in Boulder. I am a WordPress freelance web developer, and I like to get out of the office every now and then. Red Rock is great because the tables are a good size with enough outlets. Great selection of teas and yummy burritos. The staff is chill, and I tip them well and buy plenty of goodies if I camp out for any length of time.
This place is amazing and the oat milk and gluten free breads are some of the best I have ever had
No outlets or plugs for computers. Coffee was ok, music is good, but seriously - I can’t work here. Not going back.
Good Coffee, Chill Vibe. Its always a good sign when the owner is in every day. No power outlets as they were probably getting a load of lurkers but fast free WiFi!
Like the place. Nice quiet coffee shop. Come here early every few weeks to meet a friend. No real frills, just coffee and pastries.
Coffee tastes burnt. I ordered Ice Cream drinks for my kids and they put coffee in them after I requested there to be none and my kiddos didnt drink them. Over priced and not worth it.
Great neighborhood coffee house & super comfy leather chairs .
Awesome coffee, great food, good vibe.
Mostly a good place. I would go back again. The tables were a bit too crowded together. Not the best snack options, but not a total failure either.
Great Chai and atmosphere, but they took away all of the power outlets!
Used to love working here. They have gotten rid of all the wall plugs so dont plan to go there and get work done anymore if you need to charge up.
Spent the afternoon here with my daughter, who recently moved to this neighborhood. I work from different coffee shops most days, and I can say this one has a really pleasant, peaceful, compfy environment. Some shops are noisey and chaotic, and I get stressed out/annoyed pretty easily. I find myself wishing this place stayed open later because Im not ready to leave ☺️🌻👍
Great coffee and service
Their white mocha is awesome and the atmosphere is great as well...you should definitely check this place out if you are in town...
Fantastic espresso. Quiet. Excellent patio.
Great coffee, comfy seats! Great place to hang out with friends, or have casual meetings
Great little place but recently got rid of all their outlets so no charging your computer while you are here. This means I wont go here to work anymore unfortunately.
Came here after finding it on an article named best places to do work in boulder. Ordered a drink sat down. Owner has boarded off all outlets.
Nice coffee shop. But no outlets for chargers
One of the best coffee shops in Boulder, no burnt-roast coffee here! Also the staff is friendly and attentive.
Not typically crowded. Not too loud if you need to get some work done. I have not heard crappy obnoxious music here. However, they have removed ALL the electrical outlets which is annoying. So if you want a coffee shop with outlets, go to The Cup on Pearl St.
Coffee is not the best in the area but its a lovely shop for sitting and working on WiFi.
Awkward environment, and the brewed coffee is a nogo.Ive never had a coffee, without cream and sugar, be so disturbingily sweet. It kinda tastes old.Thats just my opinion though, i like dark earthy coffee so its just not my style
Yeah, its a really nice coffee shop with nice coffee, but theres no outlets. As someone who is travelling and likes to get reliable internet and work at coffee shops, this kinda botched my plan and I only bought coffee to hang out and work a bit.I guess I figured that if theres wifi there would be outlets. Should have asked about that before I ordered coffee.
Okay coffee and outdoor area. It is in a strip mall but not bad.
Owner and staff are awesome! Been coming here since they opened for delicious mochas!
Not the best coffee shop in the area, but not the worst. Stock pastries and decent drinks as you would expect; and at a reasonable price.
Gotta love a place with comfortable chairs and great chai.
Excellent service and knowledgeable staff. Great drinks!
Great coffee, great people, nice place to sit and get work done. Get a punch card
Great coffee and atmosphere. Outdoor seating is a nice bonus on warm days.
This is not the place to go if you like to work from coffee shops. They do not have any electrical outlets, and their wi-fi has poor connection and/or bandwidth. Coffee is good, food was good but seemed overpriced.
Good coffee but few or no power outlets. Not a great place to get work done.
Friendly staff, good wifi, and usually pretty quiet if youre looking for a place to work or meet someone.
Great coffee, delicious frappes, and the banana bread was delightful. Will come back again when Im nearby.
Fast service. Internet keeps going down.Need to get a enterprise-quality router for WiFi.Bathrooms are a little dark but clean.Removed all power strips a month or two ago, perhaps to discourage (ma)lingerers.
Friendly people and good selection of breakfast foods. Plain coffee was a tad bitter though.
Great espresso and people. My buddy and I go here after climbing at Movement.
Good place for coffee. Would stop here again.
The Hazelnut latté is to die for. Made with Soy, of course. Great place to get some work done or even read a book!
Good coffee; nice breakfast selection, and very friendly staff!
The dirty chia latte is amazing!
