My favorite coffee in town. Bold coffee taste with a lot of different style choices to choose from. I had the cold brew on tap and it’s so tasty! The barista suggested it and he wasn’t wrong. I always recommend this place which they have other locations in and around Boulder.

I dont know why it has taken me so long to review this place considering that I have had so many good days here. This is, in my opinion, the best coffee shop in Boulder. I have been to most of the coffee shops in Boulder and can have this opinion without being guilty of sample size problems. Topher, the manager and a friend of mine, is a kind soul in a sea of indifference, so I take great joy in talking with him. The rest of the staff are great too whenever I get a chance to get to know them. Their coffee and tea are wonderful and I believe some of their decaf products use the Swiss water process, meaning that you are really getting decaf, not caffeine lite, like some Seattle chains. The Wi-Fi works great for my needs. However, it would be nice not to have to log back in all the time. If sign in were needed, say, every couple of hours, that would be great, but Im sure they have a reason for the way it is. Justifiably, I have mentioned this place in the acknowledgements of my dissertation, as I have written so much of it there. Keep up the good work, Ozo West! Keep attracting us educated flies. Oh, and I know it might sound like it, but no one asked or put me up to this kind of glowing review. I am personally compelled by consistently good experience.

This was our last food/drink stop for our Colorado trip.I got an Iced Dirty Bhakti Chia Latte with oatmilk. I had asked between the Bhakti Chia and the Sherpa Chai which one was better. Based on the description of the Bhakti being more ginger and sweet I went with it. It was really good, but I also eat chunks of crystalized ginger regularly. I would say for a non-ginger eater, it would be much too powerful. My friend got a Iced Sugar Free Vanilla Latte with oatmilk. She indicated the coffee was great; however, they had forgotten the sugar free vanilla part, so it just tasted like iced coffee, instead of a vanilla latte.

I cannot speak highly enough about Ozo. Its a comfortable and casual environment. The staff is friendly and personable. The overall experience and ambience is wonderful.Thats not all! The best thing is the quality of their product! The coffee is sourced from small farmers across the world. There are the staple coffees they always have and a few great blends, but the real gems are the small batch coffees sourced from small farmers from all corners of the globe! The owners of Ozo travel personally to meet the farmers and test the coffee themselves to ensure the product that they source, roast and stock are second to none. You will not find a better coffee shop in Boulder, Colorado.

Definitely my favorite coffee shop in town. In addition to having good coffee (you can also buy bulk coffee bags to brew coffee at home if you like it) it is a also a good place to meet at downtown. Surprisingly, it has a lot of space and you are not sharing table with another stranger. Also good if you want to work on your laptop. A few high seat right by the door offer a good view of the Pearl Street. Weather permitting, they also have a outdoor seating in the backyard which open into the ally. Not the best view but if you a looking for a quiet place on Pearl Street thats your best bet.Did I mention free refills for black coffee?

Visiting Boulder from SF, been in the coffee biz for 10 years in a past life. Mason poured me a perfect single origin Panama espresso, followed by an excellent latte of the same for the road. Always busy!!! Pretty good. I do think the Ozo in Longmont does a better job of crafting a good espresso drink. The location here in Boulder is great, right off Pearl, where so many stores are located. The inside is very dark but large. Depending on when you go, you might not get a table so be prepared for that. Other than that, it is a good coffee shop in Boulder.

I love Ozo coffee. The location on Pearl is a couple blocks west of the walking mall, so you can park out front rather than parking in a garage and walking (though it is also an easy walk from anywhere on the Mall). The staff is always friendly, and they know the people they source their coffee from. They also have their own roastery in town I believe. The place is deceptively large, but I would still consider the setting pretty intimate and would certainly take someone here on a coffee date. They also sell all kinds of coffee brewing apparatuses. Im simple and cheap, so I always get a drip coffee and a blueberry scone. However, even when I branch out, their other coffee drinks have been delicious too.

While I placed order, he asked her what he can make for her. She did not stand on line like everyone else. After placing my order, and used the restroom, my iced coffee was still not ready. He was still chatting with the woman. When the conversation was done he made my coffee, pretty much threw it across counter. No smile, aplogy for wait, most importantly NO THANK YOU!! VERY RUDE. Great coffee but if you need to do anything that needs an internet connection this is not the coffee shop for you. I have come 4 times to do my homework because the coffee is so good but have had to leave after about 30 minutes after the WiFi disconnects and refuses to connect again. I had this problem with my old Mac and now have this problem with my new Mac, so it is not the computer that is the problem. I am told every time that “that’s just what the WiFi does.”
