It was ok, not much of a vibe there but if you want to work there the tables are pretty good! Only gripe about this place is the coffee is never hot enough. Been there a half a dozen times in the last couple of weeks and the coffee is just below drinking temperature. Great staff though and loads of outdoor seats!

Not much more than an Italian coffee shop. Staff was Friendly, and knowledgeable. Prices seem fair. Currently, the restrooms are closed to the public. I might come back if I’m in this part of town again. Thanks for the coffee!

Why spend a reasonable amount for coffee when you could spend 50% more here?Because the coffee is excellent and this is one of Boulders best spots for congregating cyclists. Amante is a hub of cycling culture and socializing in town. Go, and if you can, stay a while.

I came here because we moved in nearby just looking for any place to get some random coffee. Im glad I did; Im from the south and had never heard of things like sherpa chai but everythings been great. I especially like the stracciatella gelato -- which unfortunately they dont have terribly often compared to the other flavors (which are also tasty but not my favorite!)

I had not been to this spot for a while, and I was shocked to see how dingy this place has gotten. The coffee tastes horrible, and looking at the bean grinders-the accumulation of old rancid coffee oil in the grinder hoppers tells the tale. I would avoid the coffee, or better yet-check out Logans just down the road.

This coffee is STRONG! If you go in to buy a cup, eat something first or with it. If you buy beans to bring home, they do sell Kilos for $27 which is the way to go for sure. When making it at home, use only and actually measure 1 tbsp per cup. Any more and you might feel uncomfortably caffeinated. Free wifi in house, quite environment for work and seating outside for sunny days.

Ive been going here consistently for months. Some of the staff is okay but Bridget and others are terrible. They are condescending and rude. They charge a dollar for refills while Starbucks is FREE. I am NEVER going back there. Hayley is wonderful and always tip her. Btw. Bridget confronted me about not paying for the refill she poured and then proceeded to yell in front of everyone that I dont tip her and that I had been there for hours. Go anywhere else. Mediocre at best and overall terrible staff. I told a man, f--- you, AFTER the treatment from the employees. As they pointed out, he is a regular. THAT IS THE ONLY THING IMPORTANT TO THEM. Its the regulars (of which I was one) that are big tippers that matter to them and no one else. Notice they could not refute what I said regarding the employee. I was already packed to leave when they told me to leave. Why would I want to go back?

I am here roughly once per month as we have a satellite office nearby, and until recently this shop was the only nearby coffee in N Boulder. Every time I visit, I rationalize away the rude service, snooty clientele, and outrageous prices - but no longer! Revolution! So heres my rant, based upon consistent experience with this place. The service is consistently rude and pretentious, it is clear that this shops culture is toxic and somehow leads the employees to think that you, the customer, are being done a tremendous favour by being allowed to patronise this establishment. The prices are all at least $1 above market in any other coffee shop, which is ironic (or absurd) considering that the espresso shots are consistently pulled incorrectly and the drinks often come out bitter, almost burnt. My last couple lattes here were barely digestible. (The standard black coffee is not too bad, however.) Finally, the clientele...this of course is not in the shops control, but the culture does seem to attract a level of smug and snootiness that Id rather just steer clear from. Thus, dear reader, my advice to you: steer clear.

I normally love this place, I go here on Sundays and then go up to Jamestown to visit some family, however, last Sunday I ordered a cappuccino and it not only took 15 minuets to make but I think the milk they used was bad. Spent the rest of the day vomiting and sick. My boyfriend had been with me the entire day, and we ate the same meals, only difference was coffee from Amante.

This coffee shop is just ok. The coffee is average and overpriced. The food and pastries are nothing special. The service is fine, just dont expect anyone to be friendly or maybe even smile. The thing that brings down the rating the most for me is the people that frequent this shop. They are rude and entitled. Recently had a lady ask if she could take my chair, and because I was meeting someone I looked around for another table and just said here take the table Ill move. Her response was Good!, not thanks or anything like that just a very rude Good!
