This is more than just a coffeehouse. Its an experience that starts as soon as you walk in. Why do I say this? Because the founders of this coffee place tries to recapture what Italians and Italy know as bar. A Bar in Italy is not what a bar in USA is. In Italy, you go to a bar mostly in the morning to get some coffee and a pastry for a quick breakfast or just a place to socialize. Amante perfectly recaptured that atmosphere. As an Italian who recently moved to the States I can guarantee you that this the closest thing you will ever get to experience the concept of Italian bar. Whats also great is that their coffee beans are roasted in Italy and then shipped here, whats not to love? I went there on Monday, thats when they have 40% off on Italian spirits, so I took advantage of that by ordering an espresso corrected with an Italian spirit called Fernet, I recommend that! They dont do just italian style coffee beverages, they also do your typical american caffeinated drinks, so theres something for everybody. If you read this far, just go there, you have to experience this.
I can honestly say this was the best coffee I have ever had! I drink coffee daily have been to over 20 different coffee shops. I got the iced vanilla latte with soy milk. The gentleman working was extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend coming here if you want amazing coffee!
Really cool coffee shop. I never feel stressed when Im in here. Never too crowded.
Alway walk to mcdonalds looks like a happy coffee shop i worked for one and also ice cream
Nice coffee shop with mostly small tables for 1 or 2 people. Theres one area upstairs with two long couches where a group can gather and another outdoor couch area on the upstairs balcony. The balcony also has several tables with umbrellas with a great view of the flatirons. Ive only been here on weekends and it can be crowded but Ive always found a spot.
My favorite morning stop has been for many years now
One of my favorite places to go work. The espresso really does remind me of European espresso, which is a rare find despite the many coffee shops around Boulder. They also have a good assortment of teas and Ive seen alcohol on their menu but never gotten any personally. There is a selection of your basic cafe food fare (pastries, bagels, croissant sandwiches). I also like their music, its usually mostly indie and some alternative rock when Ive visited. Lots of plugs and single/double tables (when not in COVID times). Right now they have plenty of outdoor seating to accommodate COVID restrictions and have a good system of sanitizing and enforcing distance.
One of my favorite coffee shops.
Great Americano!
Always Amazing coffee...would definitely recommend going here
Nice space, good coffee, friendly service.
I’ve supported this business before and loved the staff. I recently stopped by without my face covered due to my medical condition and explained it to a young girl at the counter. She said she could not serve me so I asked for the owner who declined to speak with me and used her to deny me service. I saw him hiding in the corner and addressed his unprofessional approach. When I asked for his name he commented “Billy Bob”. I am highly disappointed with this experience and the lack of accommodation for those with breathing problems on top of the immature lies. I will NEVER return and I will spread this experience to my friends and family. This is completely unacceptable.
Just had one of the worst lattes Ive tasted - burnt and plastic tasting. Ive had good experiences previously, but this was disappointing!
Always get the same thing at every coffee shop and this one definitely stands out among others. The coffee here was a little acidic with fruity notes and absolutely gave me a caffeine kick. Definitely recommend this coffee shop any day over massive corporate chains! *cough* Starbucks. Just curious where they get their beans from....
Good coffee, espresso and nice environment. I like their burritos too.
Great coffee and quick service. They have some unique items on their menu too. My good friend lives nearby and he swears by this place. Hes someone who definitely knows good food, drinks, and service.
Amante is my favorite Boulder coffee shop. The baseline is set up super cool. There are two levels, the bottom level is the coffee bar with a few tables and preparation stations. Upstairs there are a couple more lounge style chairs with side tables. There is also an outside patio area with some pretty comfortable patio furniture and a fireplace that you can ask them to turn on for you. Its so lovely to come here and watch the sun come up with a fire burning, drinking a nice latte, its the best for having a peaceful moment to drink coffee to and a really nice way to start the day.
Great place to study. Great coffee and tea, with alternative milks available if you have dietary restrictions. It is two stories, so if you want to meet up with a friend and talk in a lower traffic space, you can go upstairs. The shop has a lot of windows which have great views and let in an abundance of natural light. Easily accessible, and a lovely staff. I would recommend this coffee shop.
Great amazing food. I highly recommend!!!!!!!! Real culinary type of shhhhh going on behind the counter. Not too expensive and can make a great place for a date night. Not to mention the great shopping you can do if you have the time. The Staff is very friendly and I usually am treated very well.
We generally come here to use the bitcoin ATM, however, last visit we decided to get a mocha and holy cow! Best damn coffee in town hands down! They were also heavy handed with the whipped cream which makes me want to give them 6 out of 5 stars!
Quiet place with room to work. Go up the stairs, past the comfy couches to a rooftop balcony to enjoy a draw dropping view of the Flatirons! Definitely one of my favorite places in town to get jacked on coffee and focus on work. ☕🤣
This is good coffee shop. Fast internet, never too busy, and decent coffee. It also serves alcohol and has happy hour if that helps you work as well.
Love the coffee, comfortable cafe, I usually go here to study (as it seems most patrons do) and I took one star for the volume of music. Something ambient or jazz would be nice for the afternoon clientele but they play pop pretty loudly. All in all, I do like Amante though and will be back.
If you want Italian style coffee (yes, it does taste different) then this is the place for you to go in the Front Range. Good coffee and friendly staff in a location where all of the tables ARENT occupied by Apple laptops. ;-)
Good coffee and service. Its two stories with a second floor balcony, however, the layout is strange and there isnt much seating. Its really difficult to find a place to sit with three people. Food is pricey. Ive ordered an egg croissant and it was served soggy and cold. The coffee and espresso is good and averaged priced for Boulder.
Great coffee, friendly staff! Love coming to this coffee shop
Great service
Stopped by on a bike ride and all I asked for was a bagel. Took forever to somehow toast the bagel. Would not have been a big deal these things happen but the girl that served me tried to pretend like she didnt forget. Even her co-worker asked hey whats up with the bagel and she tried to play it off saying what do you mean whats up with the bagel...Its a bagel Bagels dont just come semi-warm right out of the toaster. I gave the extra two stars for the extremely nice gentlemen that did get me my bagel.
One of the few coffee shops in town, where you can typically get a place to sit and enjoy your delicious cup of coffee. This is a favorite place to meet clients, and/or a friend to sit and relax. Great outdoor seating on the second floor has an incredible view of the Flatirons.
Always love coming here. Great service and nice place to get some work done! Especially love Pierre and Denver!
Amante has good coffee and a decent selection of food. The baseline shop has plenty of seating, and the decor is clean and modern. The staff there has always been pleasant and helpful.
Very nice coffeehouse to do some quiet work. There are lots of tables with plugs, and the cafe has a wide selection of drinks (including alcohol). There is an upstairs patio with a nice view of the Flatirons if youd like to sit in the sun.
A great local coffee shop with not only a full service of coffee, but also a good selection of wine and beer, too! A great place to work quietly, read while swigging some delightful drink, or meeting up with friends for great conversation.
Delicious Affogato! Efficient and busy coffee shop. Lots of people there on a Sunday morning. Near the Boulder, CO college campus.
Good coffee, and a great atmosphere. Nice aesthetic, and a good spot to study.
My favorite local coffee shop. Relaxed. Good gathering place.
Lots of space. Good location. Good place to meet somebody for business
Good tea selection! The Earl Gray is light and floral, it is light on the Bergamot. Tons of seating. An excellent local shop!
Espresso is on point, actually tastes like an real Italian espresso! Staff could work on being a little more approachable, yet the coffee makes up for the social media type service.
Pretty expensive considering the quality. $6 is a little high for a basic medium iced coffee. Wouldn’t recommend.
Nice place to get some work done. Espresso is very good
Triple shot was reported by my wife to be delicious and my spicy chai latte was wonderful.
Great coffee and they have ice cream too :)
Best access from walk, bike or car. Easy parking. Quiet, friendly. Good coffee.
Patio has a great view for the location. Coffee is pretty standard but good overall.
A chill vibe and an array of full bodied coffees and teas. Indoor and outdoor seating.
Not there sorry
Excellent vibe, and phenomenal coffee. I got the French press with dark roast and it was perfect.
Ran by children. Someone should show these kids how to make a drink. After spending 10$ on a latte you kind of expect it to not taste like amateur hour. A gallon of chocolate syrup and no actual shots, whatching her make it was painful...did not put in the shots I paid for, slow down and think about what your doing here please, or...please hire trained baristas...we are paying the price, would be nice to not have to throw away a 7$ drink and go somewhere that knows how to make coffee. If you love chocolate syrup, it’s the place for you, one sip and you’ll have your daily dose of sugar!! Every counter was covered by employee back packs and computers...entire lower floor is empty, but each table and counter space was filled with peoples stuff...convienent place, but now you know why it’s always empty. Can only blame management. Poses as some fancy coffee shop, really is just tweens making it up as they go for the most expensive “coffee” in town.
Walked in at 6pm, but they had already cleaned the espresso machine and were turning people away. How is this right? You are still open for another hour and there were plenty of people in the place.
My favorite coffee in town, worth every cent! I think the baristas there are super friendly and laid back.
Great espresso and good vibes! Cocktail menu looked delicious!
Cycled there for breakfast. Not a huge selection, but had a great yoghurt parfait with some fab coffee. Definitely will be going back.
Super friendly staff and a great roast. Particularly recommend the soy mocha over ice!
The baristas that work here in the morning pull shots that taste like muddy water. They are too lazy to even rinse out the portafilter between shots. No wonder it has been tasting gross lately.
Friendly staff, good tea/coffee, and the option to grab some breakfast items and sandwiches.
Great coffee and great little spot to go do homework.
Every time Ive been here the Chai + burritos have been great and the employees have been friendly + real. Its clean and priced well.
One of the two staff members was very rude, and snobby. They were receiving a delivery and the driver was trying to be helpful and the staff member was just rude. Other words better describe her attitude.
Great coffee. Nice atmosphere. The baristas are excellent.
Very nice staff and atmosphere.Good place to get some work done, has several power outlets.
Its 8:15am... Theres one person working, service is slow, medium cappucino, medium regular coffee, thin biscotti $10.something... Regular coffee is so full cup is overflowing. Two people walked in, left without ordering. You can do better.
The wifi is consistently horrible. Ive used several different computers/devices here and I always have issues with their internet. So annoying
Great stop with pleasant seating and variety of drink options
Staff was not friendly this morning. We have a group that normally comes in for coffee after our morning workouts - staff told us we need to request a reservation to hold meetings.
Over priced. Only good side is that they have a Bitcoin atm that only accepts usdt deposits.
It was my first time in to this establishment and the little teenager behind the counter didnt look up from his phone to acnowlwdge my presence. After a few minutes of standing in front of the counter I just turned around and walked out. He never looked up from his news feed.
Amazing patio upstairs with a great view of the Flatirons!
Nice, energetic cashier. Okay espresso. Depends on who makes it.
Very relaxed place with ample seating and great view from the upstairs balcony.
Always good lattes and the views from the outdoor balcony tables are so Boulder.
Delicious cappuccino, friendly, clean. Need better food choices.
Their cappuccinos are fantastic (ask for one with a twist of lemon!), and the views from the roof are amazing!
On the way to flagstaff road, good coffee
Great service and great everything else, coffee is to die for.
Not nearly as good quality barista work as at the Denver location. Having been to the other two in Boulder i would say this is slightly worse, but the seating setup and ample supply of outlets is nice.
Very friendly staff and the chai was great along with the burrito!
Great iced latte, super sweet attendant. A bit pricey, but worth the quality.
The espresso is not what I remembered it to be. The americano was not as good as I had before.
Great coffee, nice space, friendly staff, great confections. The internet, however, for those of use who come to do caffeine-fueled job applications, a little bit of work, or general atmosphere-filled internet wanderings, is horrible. 0.32 mpbs with three laptops on their wifi. 30 minutes to load a 5 minute YouTube video. Some websites take minutes to load. Sometimes, I want to watch a YouTube video in the coffee shop. Or stream music. Cant do that here. Gotta fix it to make this coffee shop experience full-featured.Love this coffee shop, but the internet connection needs to be vastly improved.
Great views from the patio. Needs more outlets.
Beautiful view of flatirons, and friendly staff .
They have a bitcoin ATM, and accept bitcoin. great coffee and environment
Two story Coffee Shop. Just as good as the one in North Boulder.
Great coffee shop to go an do some work at
Um...a Bitcoin machine? Thats pretty cool.
Good coffee shop with plenty of seating
Great coffee, excellent service, and a Bitcoin ATM!
Lovely sunny place to have coffee, some oatmeal and watch the world cup :)
The best European style coffee in Boulder!
This place was very chill and friendly! Makes me want to live in Boulder to come here everyday!
I have 3 favorite coffee joints.. Amante is my daily visit..also fond of Ozo and Boxcar.
Great coffee and work space
Outstanding Joe in all its forms.
Great service and plenty of seats
