I was recently searching for some Kuhl brand items and landed on the Ramble on Pearl web page. I placed my order and received confirmation and a photo of Dawn, and realized Ramble on Pearl was no ordinary shop.The person preparing my order was one of several adults with developmental disabilities learning and working at Ramble on Pearl preparing for independent employment in the community.My items arrived quickly along with a lovely Thank You note from Kendra, one of the apprentices. Best shopping experience Ive had ever! Shelia was so helpful: brought dresses into the changing room for me, checked in back for additional sizes and styles, helped me with some zippers I couldnt reach, told me about promotions while ringing me up, and more!I also LOVE their selection of clothes. So cute! Functional AND reasonably priced. A good variety if sizes too. All my favorite clothes are from here! Not only does their store have a good mission but they carry brands that are also socially responsible. Please open one in Boston so I can shop here more than once every other year!

UPDATE FOR COVID TIMES: Shopped online and what I wanted didnt have my size -- called and got a personal virtual shopping tour with Connie and found something even better. Highly recommend shopping here, theyve taken precautions to keep their employees and customers safe.Such a great mission, plus really high quality clothing. The owners are really friendly and would love to help you find what youre looking for--and usually something you werent even looking for, but love!

Great selection and affordable prices (less than retail price) for activewear and casual clothing, including casual dresses/skirts. The socially conscious non-profit mission is commendable, and the employees are friendly and knowledgeable.

This is not only a fantastic retail store to shop at, but it does wonderful service for people with developmental disabilities in teaching them the skills they need to go out and find independent paid employment!
