The staff here was really nice and helpful. I stopped in quickly for a few treats: dark-chocolate covered ginger and gummy worms, as well as a chocolate, caramel, and cashew cluster. Everything was good. The ginger was especially great. My one criticism is the price: be prepared to shell out for their products!
When I crave chocolate and pass by a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory I’m going in! There’s not a time that I passed by one and not go in the store! I just love their chocolate. My favorite chocolate is English Toffee whether it’s dark or milk chocolate! I also got the chocolate covered strawberries which is a hit every time. The girl at the front is very sweet and friendly.I really love that each chocolate factory I go into whether it’s in Colorado or California the taste of their chocolate is exactly the same! Very consistent. Very delectable! This one is located on Pearl Street which I consider an outside mall. There are street parking everywhere but you have to pay a meter. There’s also a public parking lot. And I have to say it’s quite cheap since I come from California and almost everything is expensive. So parking is A+!
Expensive fancy chocolates. They are delicious though!
The big f (fiance) liked her choco. I supported her in her purchase
You can always find your favorite candy here. A must do place to visit when in Boulder CO.
Updated: I recognize the business model; “charge as much as the market can bear.” It is still disappointing to pay $5.42 for a single scoop of ice cream in a paper cup.
If you walk thru Pearl St (something you must do in Boulder) then a pit stop to RMCF is a MUST TRY! Death by Chocolate ice cream and Funky Donkey ice cream were absolutely incredible. Friendly staff and clean lil shop. EXCELLENT way to end our night in Boulder. Highly recommended.
I only get the truffles. Wish they had more dark chocolate varieties. Love the extra thick shells. Two of my favorites have been discontinued. Pricey.
I have been coming here for a little over 12 years and have always enjoyed the chocolate and the caramel apples.
Thanks to Julie and her team for creating the perfect “Birthday Bouquet” and for doing it remotely so I could get my brother his favorite Chocolate Covered Marshmallowswhile feeling completely safe. He loved it and the presentation was gorgeous! Thanks again!
Tasty carmel apples. Fast friendly service.
Omg omg omg...ok the chocolate is to die for.... I love the milk and white chocolate. the turtles are to die for and the customer service was also above and beyond!
I live in a different state and called Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory in Boulder hoping to deliver a treat to my daughter at her Dorm. The woman who helped me over the phone was so helpful! I was able to place an order though her & my daughter was thrilled to receive a Halloween surprise at her dorm!
I visited RMCF in Boulder, Co. and was so excited to purchase the Halloween decorated caramel apples. I purchased 6 of them and had them shipped to my ND home to give as gifts. They arrived, but they were not pretty. They were wrapped in cello wrap, however there was no protection between apples. You can imagine how they looked when I opened the box. I did contact RMCF, and they said we tried to save you money on shipping by using a small box. Im fine with the size of the box, but you must provide some bubble wrapping separating the apples or they will not ship well. There would have been plenty of room for some bubble wrapping as the apples bounced around in the box! They offered me a $20 gift card for my $80 charge. :(Think twice before using their shipping services.
Just completed ordering several Halloween apples for family members across the States. Julie Francis has been fantastic!. She answers the phone with the kind of enthusiasm that puts a smile on your face, and has been friendly, efficient and most helpful - definitely an asset to RMCF!Cant wait for the apples to be received - I know they are going to be immensely enjoyed!Thank you Julie and RMCF.
The chocolate is always of great quality but due to the high prices I had to go with 4 stars.
Alway3a wonderful place
Great spot for a quick splurge!
Love their candied apples!
Everything we bought was Delicious
Almost as good as Sees candies of California mmmmmmm
This literally just happened. We left mountain sun in a rush from dinner to get to Rocky Mtn Choc in time for dessert. We tried the door at 8:53, they close at 9. As I’m there standing with my two young kiddos eagerly awaiting someone to open the door, the young girl from behind the counter gives us the “we’re closed sign” and really didn’t want to come to the door. I said don’t you close at 9? She finally gets to the door and says the registers are shut down I can’t help you, as my 7 year old says but they’re not closed yet. Instead of potentially correcting the situation she shuts the door and walks away. We’ve been coming to this place for 15 years and kinda felt like I was treated like dirt. A little proper customer service goes along way, we’ll now go somewhere else. #kilwinschocolates
I paid $15 for a few chocolates, thinking for the price they would be good to high quality. They werent. The only ones that were decent were the ones that werent gourmet: chocolate-covered Oreos. I got two chocolate-covered caramels, the milk was fine, yet the dark had rock-hard, stale caramel inside. Dissapointed; overpriced.
I have always enjoyed RMCF, but find this location to be poorly managed. It always feels messy. And we recently went in for caramel apples and spent almost $15! We should have turned around when she rung those up. I mean who charges that much for an apple and caramel!? Then to top it off, the cashier was rude. 😔
Great service and excellent fudge. I loved when one of the employees offered to cut up my boyfriends caramel apple, I have been here before and didnt even know that was an option! I dont remember the ladies name but she was very nice.
Has a nice sugar free section for those of us wanting a treat without the sugar!
How can anyone avoid this shop???? Its chocolate!! And damn good too!!! Just do it at least once. Or twice. Maybe 3 times ;)
Oh my goodness I could eat one of everything here. Its like a playground for me. Only downside is it does get pretty expensive. My boyfriend and I both got a couple pieces to snack on and spend $16. Worth it though 😉
You just cant make a bad decision here. But each time I go I always deliberate for way too long. Just buy the chocolate. All the chocolate.
I got the milk chocolate and semi sweet truffles. They were really sweet and good. The cashier put all the candy in the same bag, which wasnt helpful.
Always a great experience and selection. Friendly and professional staff. Delicious treats.
A tiny shop, but they have great options for gifts, with a variety of gift baskets and different size boxes to choose from. Ive sampled several of the various treats from the display case, and so far theyve all been delicious!
Yummy ice-cream and chocolate treats, friendly staff.
Great staff members. Wonderful location. Great products!
Pecan turtles are the best, by then every year a badd send to my Dad
Not one piece of plain old fashion fudge... disapointed
So good! I should have bought more.
Such good chocolate very nice store
I love this place! Especially their apple pie caramel apple 😍😍
I would have written 5 stars bc this place is great. HOwever, i wish they would offer more stevia, hone and non sugar sweetend options.
Friendliness of the employees can be a little spotty but its a cute corner unit thats one of the chains better spots.
Great little shop, I go every time Im in Boulder!
Try the chocolate covered strawberries! They’re amazing!
Really good chocolate at a price! Its expensive but the chocolate there is great. Also they have caramel apples that are amazing
The candy I bought was not fresh, price was too high for old candy. Bought same candy in Idaho springs and it was divine.
The greatest chocolate chain there is in at a great location
Never disappoints! Always a great pit-stop!!

I had just passed up an outrageous selection of high end chocolate bars up the street and gave in right here. Good quality but pricey.
Had a great experience and a good staff!
Had to wait for someone to serve me and didnt seem like they were focused on selling candy. The candy was good though.
Why wouldnt you love to browse there, unless you were dibetic.
