We recently purchased some vinyl composite plank flooring from Atlas. Rob (the salesperson who helped us) was patient answering all our questions and gave us the information we needed to purchase the perfect product for our needs. We will definitely will shop at Atlas again.Through Rob, at the time of purchase, we contracted with Mike Frederick to do the installation. One of Mikes employees, Bernie, did the actual installation and we could not be more pleased with his work! He arrived at the scheduled time, did a beautiful installation, was efficient, and completely cleaned up the area when the job was complete. Atlas didn’t have a lot of selection in the type of flooring and tile we were looking for (natural southwestern), but the salesperson who helped us was knowledgeable. We appreciated his advice about solid wood flooring expanding and contracting in this climate. Very helpful!

It is easy to praise a company when everything goes well. It is a better measure of a company as to how they perform when things go wrong. In our case, we ordered cabinet from a manufacturer thru Atlas. The cabinets that were delivered were badly constructed. Atlas showed up and advocated on our behalf with the manufacturer. Despite an offer of a 50% discount from the manufacturer, Atlas advised us that it was not in our best interests to attempt to repair the defects. Instead, we ordered (thru Atlas) from a different manufacturer that delivered a good product.The easy route would have been to advise us to take the discount so that everyone could be rid of us. Atlas had the integrity to stand by us, the customer, and make sure that we received the best result, not just the most expeditious one.Thank you Atlas!

Nr 1 stop for carpet,tiles and all you need for your upgrade!I bought a carpet a few years ago and it is the best carpet I ever got.We did the whole basement with this carpet and it was so soft we wanted it on the stairs too :)The service at Atlas is absoloute top notch.Leister and the team is the best in there is in Colorado.

Jake and his team were the best. We remodeled a bathroom, put in new carpet, and refinished hardwood floors. They made picking materials a breeze and connected us with great contractors that made the remodel painless. Wish I would have used these guys for previous home improvements. Would have saved me a ton of time and money. Well never go anywhere else for future home improvements. Highly recommend these guys.

It feel good to support a locally owned business instead of a big box type store.

I wanted to renovate my kitchen I couldn’t really afford to hire someone to do it, atlas helped me learn to measure my kitchen dimensions,pick out the cabinetry which I was able to install help me decide what size sink and counter tops. I paid about 14k and would have paid over 30 to have someone do it for me. Thanks Altas and I love my new kitchen.

Our new carpet and wood floors are beautiful! I am really impressed with the service and professionalism of Atlas Flooring. They were able to work with our tight schedule before our move-in date to replace the carpets and to install new wood floor. Francisco did a beautiful job with the carpet, and Aaron Spain installed a wood floor in our entry room to seemlessly match connecting wood into the kitchen and living room. It was all done quickly and with no mess left behind. So happy with our new floors!

Atlas is a super solid supplier of all manner of flooring materials. For Boulder, at least, its the McGuckin Hardware of flooring. Huge range of products and, like McGuckins, you wont have to stand around long before you are helped. It is also our experience that the local contractors are comfortable working with them as well. You have to do the Denver flooring warehouse grind to find anything better.

I wouldnt think of going anywhere but Atlas for tile flooring counters and walls, wood flooring, carpet, cabinets, counter tops and all sorts of supplies. The best part of Atlas is employees who know literally everything, no blank stares or this isnt my department. If you pick out a tile and are unsure how it might look dont be surprised if one of their employees pulls out a personal phone and shows you a photo. All of this comes at great prices (only bested by their own semi-annual sales). Design services, no city sales tax and wildly good installers make this place a must. Locally owned too!

Very few options are actually in stock here, as most items must be special ordered and shipped from elsewhere. The tiles I selected (that my salesman recommended for quick delivery from their Denver location) ended up on backorder and it took nearly a month for them to arrive. Id only recommend shopping here if you are not starting your project for quite a while..

We loved working with Atlas Flooring. They assisted in coordinating a beautiful floor tile and shower tiles in our studio so the flow of color was perfect and modern which was the the look we were seeking. Friendly staff, great selection, prompt arrival of tile. We highly recommend Atlas Flooring!

My wife and I continue to be so impressed with the skill and consummate professionalism of our floor installer at Atlas. He has kept the area amazingly dust free given carpet and previous flooring removal. He has not only taking time to communicate thoroughly, advised and helped us problem solve issues, he has (in addition) also made adjustments to accommodate his tight scheduling so we could take care of an unforeseen needed service repair which, not responded to now (prior to laying the hardwood), would likely have required a major financial outlay and inconvenience later.

Labor Day weekend 2016. We scheduled a pick up for that Saturday; they were closed. I called the phone number numerous times as panic set in because we needed to hit road for a show in Vegas with the remneant in tow .Graciously, the owner left a friends and family BBQ on the lake to help us out .Unable to locate the ream we purchased, he took a finer ream of Berber off the shelf and sent us on our way. As a current owner of a small biz in La Veta, I always leave a note on the door to let consumers know Ill be there in no time to hand them what they need to make their holiday more enjoyable. Ill never forget that Incredible selection at phenomenal prices .A++ service and products. Recommend .

The folks at Atlas flooring are extremely courteous and knowledgeable. A family owned business that values customers and offers a fantastic product at great prices. We Went in for a small laundry room project and returned for a full basement remodel. I have referred several friends and family and the consensus is always the same, Atlas is great. Dont waste your time or money at a big box store, go to Atlas Flooring and get the best customer service around.

**Edited review**I initially left a 3-star review because I was disappointed with an additional charge for extra labor and trip fees that was added on the day of my installation of countertops. I had been very happy with everything up to that point as we had found the exact countertops we wanted at a discounted price for material and labor, and the installation was going very smooth. When I got the call for new charges I felt like I was being taken advantage of because I was at a point where I really couldnt say no, but it turns out I should not have felt that way. After leaving what I felt was an honest 3-star review I was contacted by the owner of Atlas Flooring and he explained everything. The new charges came from the fabricator/installer because we live in the mountains above Lyons and have a lot of steps getting into our house, which makes installing anything here difficult. When the additional charge was brought up our representative from Atlas was not sure exactly how to handle it and the owners were unavailable, which led to a delay in relaying the information to us. Atlas has a policy of explaining any additional charges to the customer prior to installation so it can be approved, but the timing in our case did not work out right. Mr. Bowling from Atlas explained all of this to me after he saw my initial review and credited my account the additional charge, which I did not expect at all. I was blown away he would take the time to read one individual review and go out of his way to correct an honest mistake. That tells me they really do care about customer service for each individual at Atlas and they will go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied. So in the end we got the exact countertops we wanted on sale, the installers did an excellent job, and a miscommunication about additional charges for labor was handled better than I ever expected. Atlas Flooring fully deserves five stars and I would recommend them to friends and family.

Atlas has a great selection of products and prices are comparable to home Depot. We ordered a large amount of tile (850sq feet) and there was quite a bit of miscommunication and lag before we received it. My perception was that for such a big order we should have had better service but since we werent using their installers we were lower on the priority list. The sales guy kept saying that they dont make money on the tile but the install. Thats really not what a customer wants to hear especially if you end up treated with slower service because of it. Also whats with the 5pm closing time? How can anyone go there is they work?

(Please read the entire review as it has been updated since the original post)Sadly, oh so sadly, I cannot recommend them. I ordered granite counter tops on May 2. They came out on the following Thursday and installed the counter tops on Tuesday - most of them. They completely forgot one and they also did not leave the rest of the granite slab like they were suppose to do (it was enough to do another kitchen and bathroom).Months went by and they never came back to install the counter tops that they forgot. I had to call and call and call. They finally showed up on September 27th and installed the missing one - but it was the wrong color. A few months later they installed it a second time and it was again the wrong color. Someone was sent out and agreed that it was not the right color. All the while I am calling them, with no response.The installer dropped off a few small samples of granite, and told me to pick one that matched. Sorry, it is not my responsibility to figure out what is the right one, nor do I have the expertise to know that a 3 x 4 piece will match what is actually there.In December, the job was finished. But I still do not have the left over granite that I was promised.I lost at least four months of rent (more than the cost of the granite counter tops) on this condo because they couldnt get the job done - in spite of my calling them.Not one person would let me talk to the owner and I was unable to get to the store to sit and wait for him.And.............not one word of apology let alone a reduction in the amount that I paid them. Do not use them unless you have the time to hound them to get the work done. And certainly do not use them if you are on a time line or have more than enough money to tripled the cost of the job.They still want me to pay in full for the job that cost me several thousands of dollars in lost rent.July 2016 updateAs I mentioned, I have worked with Atlas for many years. When I was so disappointed with my above mentioned experience, I wrote my review.I eventually called them to discuss the situation, in hopes that there could still be a resolution. I wanted to give them one last chance to make things right, because their account, (the response to my review), clearly showed that the person who wrote it had not been kept up to date as things went on, and spoke to people who were not at all involved with the project.I am delighted to say that they did show up and make things right! I am now back to having a working relationship with them, and I do not expect that my last experience will ever be repeated again. :-)

The whole process has been terrible. It has been like pulling teeth to try and get anyone to provide us with any information or updates on our order. After numerous attempts to simply get an update on when we could expect our carpet to be delivered and installed, we were forced to cancel the order.

I am a local designer that now uses Atlas for all my flooring needs. The service and pricing are excellent. While I work mostly with Monty, all the guys are so helpful and knowledgeable. I cant say enough about how easy they are to work with. Leister is the owner and his commitment to great service runs right through the organization.They also have kitchen cabinets in the back. The pricing is the best in town and install goes so smoothly.The last work on installers. Try and use the ones Atlas recommends. Leister has very high standards holds contractors to the same level of service he expects from his employees. You wont be disappointed.

Atlas is awesome, they spent hours with us helping us pick flooring and counters, sent us home with samples and everything was low pressure high knowledge.

We installed our quartz counter tops from Atlas Flooring through our general contractor. We paid money directly to Atlas Flooring, as our contractor told us. The counter tops have a lot of issues - there are multiple holes, the polishing was handled terribly and is very visible, especially around the sink area, and the corners of the island curved differently and had to be manually polished. The owner of Atlas Flooring told us that we are picky for noticing the damage and that it wasn’t the fault of his team. When we asked for compensation for the damages, the he said he would pay it to our general contractor for working with a hard customer, even though we were the ones who paid Atlas Flooring. We will never trust this company.

I wanted the same tile for both bathrooms but different colors. I picked up one color including the bullnose and was told the other was being shipped in.The original bullnose and tile measures 4x16. After one shower with the original 4x16 bullnose is installed and the other shower also done just no bullnose. I go to pickup the bullnose shipped and its nowhere near the same tile. Now Im stuck with 4x16 bullnose in one bathroom and 5/16 x 7 3/4 slivers in the other. Total eye sore for a brand new home thats not even sold yet. The thin set and the grout I bought from them was also the worse you can get.

Great service and good prices

After spending a large sum of money on new cabinets one of the units really didnt work out as expected. The hole cut in the floor to ceiling unit for a microwave was too large and my contractor had to add panels to cover the design flaw. I misunderstood the design of the cabinets and unfortunately that has left us in the situation. Atlas is helping by providing panels to cover the large blank areas up but I am still somewhat disappointed on the large loss of cabinet space. My recommendation is to check and double check the design to ensure what you had in mind is the same thing in the design.Update: Atlas contacted me this morning to discuss options to fix the issue. Ive updated to 4 stars as their obvious concern for the customer and service is excellent. Will update again once the resolution is determined and executed.

Great Outfit all around, prices and service kick butt...

I bought flooring from ATLAS FLOORING and was deceived into thinking that the flooring company or ATLAS FLOORING would stand up behind the 1 year warranty. Atlas cares about the sale and install but not the results or the customer satisfaction.I had 28 things that needed attention after the floors were installed. The owner himself flat out told me that he was not going to fix everything on my list. He was correct in that he fixed nothing. I took ATLAS FLOORING to Small Claims Court and Won the judgement. I would not use his installers unless they have insurance to cover their mistakes and any liabilities under Workmans Comp. In other words, the installer whose name is Marshall should not be putting in floors for anyone, nor should the owner Leister Bowling recommend him. Thoroughly disgusted with Atlas Flooring.....
