Their lawn removal service was great! I had my name on a wait-list, they called when they had an upcoming cancellation. I decided to go for it. SO GLAD I DID! It was just the motivation I needed to get the water-wise, bee friendly garden with so much curb appeal I needed. I still had lots of work to do myself, but it was worth it. I also opted for the Rocky Mountain Retreat - *Garden in a box adding drought tolerant plants to my full sun area. I did add a few others as well. If they survive the winter, then this is going to look AWESOME in a couple years!

These guys run the garden in a box program to 1) reduce precious CO water 2) promote pollinators. Both great goals. Ordering, picking up and planting experiences were all seamless and enhanced by clear instructions. I highly recommend based on my experience!

The Resource Central Sprinkler Consultation Service was incredibly thorough, helpful and eye opening. Our HOA had been on the wait list for a while and it was worth the wait! We received great advice on watering schedule, identifying sprinkler issues in detail and got great recommendations on helping our lawns and plants become healthier and more water efficient. We anticipate our water bill to go down by next year and looking forward to implementing all the recommendations. Thank you City of Louisville and Resource Central for your partnership and helping our HOA gain clarity on how we can do our part to conserve! Invaluable service. Thank you!

I’ve loved Resource for years, but lately they seem very unable to do anything useful. I recently offered them pristine materials of substantial value (a few hundreds of dollars). and I was turned away. When I drive through, I see basically nothing of value that they have for sale, and yet they turn away stuff that people could actually use and pay money for. I feel like their commitment to reuse things is completely in the past. I donated years ago and found they would accept usable stuff. That was their whole purpose. And I bought usable stuff there, always in small quantities, not contractor quantities. I loved it. The kinds of things I bought, they no longer seem to accept. When I look at what they’ve got for sale, I’m not real impressed with what they do accept.

Update: Things seem to have gotten better again.Original: Starting to feel like this place is more about getting sticker prices than actually diverting stuff from the landfill. The longer something sits the more it costs. If you have a lot of something you cant get rid of, so youre turning it away, then maybe your prices are too high? Its supply and demand. A large supply the prices should go way down.Have sticker prices for those that will just walk in and pay it. Sure, I get it. But if someone makes a fair offer, I really dont see the point of dickering over something you got for free. ESPECIALLY, if there isnt a sticker price on it.It doesnt matter what retail is. A lot of the stuff is [who knows how] old and used. Something is only worth what someone is willing pay for it.I made an offer on some things I thought was reasonable (and turns out was) only to be told I was way off and then they grossly overestimated the price on them. All that does is leave them potentially not getting it and with a bad taste in their mouth.

I am just amazed at the number of classes that have been provided for free during the COVID-19 pandemic. I signed up for all of them. They are via Zoom, introducing many area specialists in gardening, landscaping, lawn replacement, soil ammendment, native plantings, pollinators, beneficial insects, water conservation...Each class has links to resources in my area for free and/or easy access to all information. That is priceless to me since I am disabled and gardening (on good ) days is therapy to me but needs to be kept simple.

I am an avid gardener, but Colorado is tough because of the soil and the weather. Having an opportunity to get affordable, healthy plants pre-layed out into a beautiful landscape design that are beautiful and durable in Colorado is worth hundreds of dollars in trials. Just had a consultation by Resource Central for their Slow the Flow Program. Abigail was our consultant and she was SO wonderful. Very personable and informative and helpful. We had a $500 (!!!) water bill for one month, thanks to the landscaper that adjusted our timers, and she came out and assessed our property and soil and how much our lawn was being watered. She was here for over an hour and was extremely thorough. We have now lowered our consumption by 800 minutes a month. Phew! Also, they are very conscientious about COVID protocols, which we appreciate. Highly recommended!!!

Frequented Resource religiously for the last few years. Went yesterday and suddenly the marked prices on things were hilariously over-inflated.Examples:Old, banged up, ammo box, rusted interior. $15. Same exact item, new, Harbor Freight $12.75+ yr old box hachet, worn and splintered handle, heavy rust. $5. New, from several retailers, $6.Scrap metal from all sorts of sources. Mild steel presumably. Twice the current cost of scrap steel in local markets.
