Most of the employees (including the owner, apparently, if the individual I dealt with today was indeed the owner as he claimed) cant get the pumps to charge you the cash price when you pay in cash. So you get a total in the credit price and then they give you the discount (supposedly) with your change. At least 50% of the time, the attendants get the math wrong and then there is an awkward back and forth while I do the math of this many gallons times this price equals this amount so I get THIS change. Seriously, its routine for me at this point to take a picture of the price on the pump and the amount of gas I pumped because I expect Im going to have to do math to get correct change. Most of the time, this is an inconvenience at most, so I deal with this price roulette to get cheaper gas.Well, today I was told that I was being unreasonable when I expected my correct change. I was unreasonable because the posted cash price was $0.10 cheaper than the credit price. The individual behind the counter, who at least claimed to be the owner, said that the price was an employees mistake and the discount is really only $0.03 off. Well, that may be your policy, but your advertised price at all the pumps is $0.10 less per gallon for regular gas. What, exactly, is unreasonable about expecting to pay the cash price listed on the pump when I have indeed paid in cash? If its an employees mistake, then give me my correct change and then go fix your prices! Ultimately, I got my correct change, but the level of rude and unreasonable-ness on the part of the owner means that this place is absolutely, positively, a last resort only. Willing to pay more elsewhere to avoid being disrespected for knowing how math works.
I will definitely coma back here. The service was exceptional and the staff was really friendly. Keep up the great job guys
BEWARE FRAUD - got a 1/4 tank of gas before going to the airport and was charged $100 even - the machine receipts were not working and I didnt have time to stand in line. I called 3 times and they keep saying that I need to speak to a manager (who wont call you back and appears to never be on site).
Really only head over to Boulder Gas to pick up soft drinks and the occasional tobacco product. Overall, the employees are kind even though the 40-something year old man with an accent who I believe manages the store is often upset with people on the phone. The man is simply a no-BS kinda guy, and he has always seemed to treat customers with care. On the other hand, prices area bit high for all wares inside compared to most gas stations. I have also purchased Swisher Sweets from the store, to find that they were very dry, overpriced, and overall unsuitable for my needs. Poor selection for anything here except for cigarettes and tobacco products.
Friendly staff and good selection.
Couldnt read the credit card input box because its designed at the height of an NBA player. Asked the associate for help and he was intensely patronizing to me as a female pumping gas, grabbed the handle from me, and told me I was doing it wrong (I was not, there is literally only one way).
Worker’s hospitality is excellent
Just trying to get gas. Asked for help to pump (the pump is not average, everyday pump) and one of the guys who was working was just being very rude... expecting me to know what to do. Like how about not heing rude?
Faulty pumps, rude staff, selling of expired products, will juuleven sells pods to minors. I dont know what else to say about this place.
