I understand funneling people through automated phone answering prompts and online forms, but I had a question that couldnt be answered without talking to a live person. Satellites automated system doesnt have that option, and for some reason their automated phone prompts pretend you can get to a person Before I connect you with a representative... only to dump you back into the loop. Took me a few tries before I realized there was NO WAY to get a live person. Why lie? Why waste peoples time with automated lying? Why not just say I can not connect you to a live representative.

I scheduled my appointment to have my windshield for my car.I asked for the guy to knock on my door when he got here so I could give him my keys. I work nightshift so trying to be awake is difficult. So asking him to knock on the door would wake me up. He DID NOT knock or even call me ( my phone was on ring) and just texted me. So I missed my appointment.I had to reschedule my appointment. Then I received a call from the company telling me that they ordered the wrong color windshield and if it was okay to have a different color because they did not have the one I ordered (if I did not take the new color I would have to wait even longer to get it fixed). I said I would take the different color. But this meant I had to reschedule for a third time.This time he finally knocked on the door and fixed the windshield.After the appointment he spoke with my boyfriend giving him glass cleaner and new windshield wipers, he never stated how much or that it would even cost more money. He mislead my boyfriend into spending an extra $27.I would not recommend this company, the workers did not order the right windshield, the worker that came to the apartment did not follow simple directions and mislead the buyer ( my boyfriend). If I have another windshield issue, I will not use them again.

Got my windshield replaced, after I picked it up I noticed that there was a bunch of dirt ground into my dashboard speaker cover, was fine before I brought it in. I went inside and told the person at the counter, she told me that If there is any dirt it was already there.

Made an appointment online and, a few days later, brought my car in to have my cracked windshield replaced. Dropped it off in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon. The process was smooth, the price was quoted up front, and the quality of the work looks to be high.

Work was done well but I have waited 3 weeks to get a call back about an issue that may or may not have taken place during the install. The voicemail says you will get a call back next business day. Left a 2nd message 1-2 weeks after the install and still..crickets!

Don’t waste your time here. They do not answer their phone, it’s directed to a third party answering service. The operator said Safelite did not exist in Boulder And the lead time was almost 2.5 months.I recommend Complete Autoglass. I actually spoke to somebody at the shop, they are a small business and I had a new windshield 2 days after calling + they came to me. 😉

Waste of time. Call and the automatic service says all appointments are online. Go online and get a whoops message three days in a row with a form for reply. Never got a call back. Calling them is a huge pain and there are few, if any options to speak to a human. I’m sure the actual staff at the location are great if I could get ahold of them.

Ive had FANTASTIC service from this establishment and am thankful they are right down the road.They have come out to my home to replace my cracked windshield and Ive also done too their shop.Each occasion Ive experienced my technician as capable and personable. I hate it that I cant call and talk to a live person in your shop!!! It is ridiculous that I am circumvented to go to the web site. Where is the customer service these days!! I called and all I can hear is a fuzzy signal and a dog barking in the background of who your routed my call too!! UGH!!! I will call another company.

I tried calling this location to see if there was seating available in or outside of the store while waiting for service. I called several times and I was answered by an extremely unhelpful automated system that either told me to use the website, hung up on me, or after like 6 attempts at calling, transferred me to a representative in New Mexico who both couldn’t answer my questions, nor connect me to the Boulder store I was trying to reach.This is a pretty frustrating route of communication for customers to take. I’ve used Safelite before, and was going to use them again, but will now seek other businesses to support.

I filed a claim with insurance company because I was told that it would cost $1,000 because they needed to calibrate my windshield (newer tacoma). Once I showed up to this location I was informed that they would not be able to calibrate my windshield because it was altered (lifted or bigger tires). They lady at the front desk, I believe it was Tara, or something like that said that it would be no problem. That she would contact Toyota and and it would all be a part of the same claim number.When I arrived to pick up my truck she had not done this. She informed me that I just need to schedule the appointment with Toyota service right away and make sure that I give them the claim number.I immediately made the appointment at Toyota. One week later I take it to Toyota and give them the claim number. I just picked it up and guess what, Toyota said that Safelight told them that I need to call my insurance company to get a refund.Now when Im trying to contact Safelight I cant even get a human on the phone.Just to recap:I paid the $500 deductible at Liberty Mutual because Safelight said it would cost a grand. I arrive at my appointment and Tara lies to me and they only perform half of the services that I need. Toyota still charges me $250 of the calibration and Im told that if theres an issue that I need to take it up with my insurance company. Whats wrong with this country?!

I called and tried there web site to make an appointment. My car is not on there list of vehicles. Vehicle is at the bottom of this post. Tried to call again. There web site will not let you let you get past the vehicle part unless you enter what kind of vehicle you have. My car is not on there list like l I said. When I call there phone, it will not let you talk to anybody neither. So looks like I will have to drive down the hill just to talk to them and see if I can get an appointment. I dont want to make 2 trips. Any business should try to make it easy to talk to someone so you can give your information and get some information from them. But looks like they really dont care about talking to anybody, they probably just want the money. Then again, I might go somewhere else since it looks like they dont want to talk to anyone. The car is a LOTUS ELISE. 2 day after my original post, I ended up taking car some where else.

I had Safelite repair a broken windshield. I had a question about the repair - the work appears to be ok, but the seal around the windshield does not appear to be complete. I cannot get in touch with ANYONE. You can schedule on line but cannot hold for anyone or leave a message. I understand the challenges of working through this pandemic- but communication is a basic key to doing this successfully. Please consider allowing folks to hold or leave a message, an email or a chat feature, instead of just telling folks you cant take their call and hanging up. It appears my only option is to actually physically go to the shop.

What a scam this place is… Call to compare quotes between insurance and no insurance pricing so that I could think about which way to replace my windshield. The sales person insisted that they needed all of my information before giving me a quote which I was reluctant to give but I gave. Then I had to give them all of my information for insurance to get the insurance quote… I asked them specifically about just getting a price quote because I did not want to make a claim and they told me this was the only way to get a price quote. Next thing you know somehow I’m on the phone with my insurance company who is telling me that I’ve made a claim with Safelite auto glass and is quoting me a higher price than Cash and cannot find the information necessary to connect my insurance plan which covers auto glass. So essentially Safelite wasted a significant amount of my time, lied to me, Miss lead me, and created an insurance claim on my behalf that I never authorized. I’m absolutely furious about this and I think it’s a ridiculous horrifying example of how a modern company is just absolutely not at all interested in treating customers with respect. I would never in my life knowingly use this company for anything and I hope lots of other people get to read this experience just to see what kind of a slimy aggressive sales team Safelite has. I feel bad for my insurance company because then this ends up reflecting poorly on them even though they had nothing to do with it. F for customer service and style of business don’t waste your time here

I really appreciate the level of customer service and warranty fullfillment. Truly top notch with no hassle. Had a windshield replaced in Feb, and it developed a whistle/wind noise soon after -- I finally could not take the sound anymore -- called yesterday and Rich was on the job to come out and take a look today. Had my windshield replaced after being smashed by hail. The first customer service rep I talked with was very nice and helped me move my appointment up by a week. The technician came and installed the windshield and seemed nice enough as well, if a little grubby (to be expected at the end of a day of working on cars). After he left, however, I noticed a gouge in my dashboard that wasnt previously there.First I tried calling customer service, but it was Friday after 5pm so they wouldnt be available for hours. Then I sent a message to customer service via the form on their website. Then I tracked down an email address their customer service had tweeted out and sent an email. No response from Safelite to any of these attempts to reach out to them for 4 days.Finally I received a survey via email from Safelite asking me to rate my service - I indicated that I was unsatisfied. The next day the same technician called and asked if he could come take a look, then came at the end of the day to do so. He apologized and said he hadnt realized any damage had occurred and that hed talk to his boss and see what he could do.That was 2 weeks ago, and I havent heard back from Safelite since.If theyre working on your car, watch them as they do it and call out any damage immediately.

NOT LIKELY TO RETURN. EVER AGAIN. BECAUSE OF ADAM1.) Whoever worked the desk between 4:00 and closing today had an attitude, mumbled quickly when he spoke, and would just leave you standing there unsure if he needed you for more information or not. Very VERY poor customer service. He offered me advise about not putting so many keys on my keychain, but with a condescending intonation after asking if I even owned my car (couldnt figure out why the hell hed ask this (though I have 2 different keys to 2 different cars (that I own) on my chain)). He sure changed his tune when the manager was walking through- he might have been rude to me cause he was annoyed by the woman talking to him when I came in, but thats no reason to be rude to either of us. Just from my one interaction with the man at the desk I may never return here, only came because my insurance applied.1.a.) this employee also takes personal calls while behind the desk/ while customers are in the lobby.2.) There are hardly any windows into the garage, good-luck keeping an eye on your car while they work.3.) The employee I dealt with also left the preceding customers credit card in clear view with her paperwork while he silently left me standing at the desk. Anyone who works in customer service should be careful to protect sensitive information like full names, credit card information and financial documents.4.) My repair was good and the mechanics were very kind and respectful.

My fiance had her car broken into, Safelite made an appointment 2 days later to come out and replace the driver side window. They didnt bring the right one. They said they would come out today instead, and again did not bring the right window. I am not sure how this can happen, thats all they do is replace windows but we are looking for a company that can figure out which window goes on her car.

A few months ago I wrote this review:Dropped my car off for a window replacement, got my car back and my handicap place card was missing. Very disappointing. I called the company to ask incase someone accident dropped it out of the car or misplaced it but they couldn’t resolve the issue. I highly doubt it vanished into thin air in the small window you guys had my car in your possession.Do not trust this company with necessity’s or valuables because you’ll never see them back.I am reposting with an update to say that my rear view mirror fell off of my Jeep after the window replacement due to the way Safelite reattached it. Master Auto in north Longmont has helped me fixed it & they’ve gone above and beyond to help me.My advice is avoid Safelite at all cost, unless you want to waste your own time and money.

I booked 9 AM on Safelites website and they had a tech come out that same afternoon to my works parking lot. He replaced the windshield in 1 hour and cleaned and vacuumed.

Twice Ive had to use this service.... Yes unfortunately rocks in the HWY will kill your windshield eventually, however Safelite has service that comes to you so I dont get to miss a day at work. They have on line scheduling which made it easy to pick a time that works best.

TL/DR: just nope. they want to sell you a heated windshield even if you dont need it. both their employees and website ask you do you have heated seats. the answer to that question determines if they will sell you a more expensive heated windshield. this language is unclear to the point of being outright dishonest. point of fact, many cars have heated seats and no heated windshield. when asked about this, the answer was no problem, we will just leave it disconnected if you dont need it. sure, but you still have to pay for it! finally, they called me to confirm an appointment but never showed up. had to call them to find out they couldnt make it.I(reply to owner) no need for me to contact you. all details are written here. had my new windshield installed the next day by another company for $105 less!

Initial experience started off subpar since a tinted window was accidentally installed despite the rest of the car being untinted. After a few back and forth with Mike the manager they were able to jump through some hoops and get me a specially ordered replacement. They swapped the windows free of charge, both installs were flawless and both techs were friendly and did great work. Excellent experience, thank you for your help Mike!

After procrastinating getting a chip in my windshield fixed, it finally started to crack. I came in today and they were immensely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They told me they could get me in today to get it fixed, workwd around my schedule, and informed me that because it was a curved crack the procedure may not work but was still worth a shot. I really appreciated the honesty and all the help, especially with getting my insurance coverage figured out. Ryan was especially pleasant to work with! Next chip, Im definitely coming back (and living in CO you know there will be a next one..) Thanks guys!

Had a simple small rock chip, called Safelite. they came out and fixed the chip twice in less than 30 days, because the rock chip spread after the first repair. I have never had a repaired rock chip crack like this. I called them and asked for them to make it right, but no, they called it a failed repair and they said I was responsible. Terrible backing of their own work and repairman. Now after two repairs I have to pay to replace the windshield anyway. Poor workmanship and customer service!

Excellent service. Highly recommend. Driving from Golden to Boulder this morning. Something flew off van in front of me, bounced off Rd into my windshield. Shards of glass covered front area of car. Indentation of glass was 2-3 inches. Needed this fixed asap as car was not comfortably driveable with glass deteriorating. Showed up at safelite glass and Mike got me fixed in a few hours. He was also extremely kind. I appreciated this very much as we were very shaken.

I placed an order for a new windshield online. The quote seemed in the ballpark, so I made an appointment. I dropped the car off at the appointed day and time, then got a call a half hour later telling me they didnt have the windshield in stock. So, I had to go back to the store and get my car. They said they would order the the windshield and let me know when it came in. When it came in I got a call to reschedule the appointment. Fortunately they followed up with email confirmation and I was shocked to see that the price had gone up $650! They had two opportunities prior to that to tell me that they raised the quote and didnt say a word. Needless to say they wont be getting my business now or ever again.

Made the appointment online as it is impossible to find a local number for Safelite shops. The technicianSimon came out and replaced the windshield AFTER I verified with him that the VIN number was correct for the windshield needed for our car....which by the way I had to also verify VIN at the time of the scheduling. So, now at least three people have verified the correct windshield because when they called to confirm the correct windshield, I again verified that it was the correct one. Technician showed up on time, replaced the windshield, I asked if it was correct, yes, and that I needed to take it to the dealership to be calibrated. We dropped it off, the dealership called and said, you have the wrong windshield, as if you didnt know this was coming...and we called Safelite 877 number because it was the only way we could get a hold of someone...they said, the shop manager would call on Monday (this was Friday)...we had a trip planned...waited until Monday NEVER hear back from the Boulder shop manager...after trying again, and a manager saying that Mike is aware of the problem...but couldnt talk at the time and would call back during his hours...we couldnt wait any longer (delaying our trip) and we had to pay for the replacement, talking to both Mike and Frank. I FINALLY get a hold of the manager, he had heard about my story but since we didnt give Safelite the chance to fix the problem, we were out the $500+ for the replacement windshield. He said, you should have given us the chance...little did I know it would be 2 weeks to get help. Pitiful. I did everything SAFELITE requested me to do for the correct windshield. Did I verify the appointment, yes. Did I verify the windshield with VIN number, yes. Did I call once we found out the windshield was incorrect, yes. Did I get a call back, No. Sadly, what I once thought was a reputable company was not. Clearly Safelite saw that you made the mistake by looking at your records and showing you installed the incorrect windshield, but since we had to move along, we end up paying the price. Two star only because the technician showed up on time and the actual work was done, just not the right work. Not even offering to pay for half, admitted making the mistake but not refunding, we were stuck.

Waste of time. I set up an appointment with Safelite because they told me they had the replacement windshield in stock after I gave them the make, model of my car. I left the my office for the appointment and dropped off the car on time. They told me it would be 90 minutes to replace the windshield. No problem, I went to try to work from a coffee shop. An hour later the called me and tell me they did not actually have the windshield in stock and that they wouldnt have it in stock until next week. I asked if they would give me the mobile service ($25 value) for free if I rescheduled with them and they refused. Wont be using them again.

Took my 2004 elantra in for a new windshield. if you buy used cars a new windshield is about as close to new as you can get. so needless to say i’m excited. technician takes me out to look at vehicle after in shop service and the windshield is scratched. he offers a small discount or i can come back for a new windshield. uhh yeah can i get what i came for?so i have to wait another week to get what i originally expected. not an ideal job.

This company completely dropped the ball on my windshield replacement. A technician showed up without the right windshield, and said I would be contacted as soon as they had the correct glass. Called a month later, they were clueless, then said that the part was back-ordered, and did not hear from them again for a month. Due to storms and other uncontrollable reason my appointment was delayed they called me right away to let me know and to schedule a best time for me to have my windshield replaced. The day of, they called me again to state they would be there in a hour or so to give me a heads up. They then called me again to state they were in my work parking lot and ready to go. I met with the installer and he was friendly and professional. He let me know what the time frame would be to do the replace. When i came back to my car it looked great car was vacuumed and information left for on my seat. I think they did an excellent job.

Had a pleasant windshield replacement experience. Dropped my car off in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon with a perfect, clean & new windshield. No issues with chipping after about a month as well.

I had my glass replaced by them. Ended up breaking again thanks to hail. Only thing I am concerned is that after glass replacement our MDXs rain sensor and homelink is dead. Wanted me to bring it in but I doubt they will be able able to fix it.

Scheduled a windshield replacement due to concerns my current windshield was leaking (keep getting water in the floor board after it rains). I was at the shop about an hour and brought back into the garage twice to point out my concerns and to have them walk me through the tests they did to make sure my current windshield was sealed properly. They were very honest and up front with me about everything! The tech even showed me a few things that could possibly be the culprit and spent several minutes with me. I also left with several recommendations for trusted mechanics in the area. I ended up not getting my windshield replaced, and wasnt charged a thing for all the time they spent with my car!I will happily go back here in the future.

WORST EXPERIENCE. Rude!!!!! They would not honor their warranty!!!! I got my windshield replaced here in November of 2015, came in April 2016 to get a stress crack repaired for free like their warranty says. I do live in the mountains so I see more snow!!!!! They insisted I was not telling the truth and that I had hit something or something had hit it!!! After minutes of arguing they would not give up!!! Completely RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. I will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN and I suggest no one does

A friend noted a sizeable chip in the windshield just days before a long distance work trip. The next day I dropped by my local mechanic and they referred me to Safelite.With just about an hour to spare before staring work for the day I zoomed over to see what they could do.After a brief exam I was informed that the chip could be repaired and would likely be covered by insurance. We called me insurer on the spot, ensured the work would be covered and set an appointment for the following morning.On the day of my appointment the place was bumpin so I went inside to inquire about parking (there are a few spots near their garage door entrance out back by the dumpster). I then checked in and the work was complete within an hour.The waiting room featured magazines, a Keurig, and a television. Thankfully the staff and fellow patrons were friendly so we all chatted for most of the time I waited.When my repair was complete I was pleased with not only how clean the windshield was but also the size and minimized appearance of the chip. I definitely recommend Safelite for your windshield repair needs.

Made an appointment 2 weeks out because thats all they had available after the hailstorm, they called me 2 hours before my appointment(after confirming it the day before) and said we dont have your windshield, idk when we will have it, oh well so I called Premium auto glass and got in within 2 days and paid $150 less! Never going to safelight again.
